This is an interesting park at the bottom of faceless industrial area that is Donlands. This is part of the revitalization project that is underway in this area. I think this area will improve a lot when its done and will provide an entertainment for the residents who will reside here. It small but has modern finish with waterfalls that provide an interesting scenery with the lights up in the evening. With the new Sugar Beach nearby I can see this being popular with families and alike. Beware though this area has a lot of bugs in the evening.

downtown? downtown?...downtown?! where I am struggling is to classify this area as downtown...or the downtown core...either way. this common(can anyone find me a proper definition?) is a pretty awesome place to come and visit. if its considered downtown or not(I say yes, my opinion) this is an awesome park to come down and enjoy the day, watch people play in the fountains, or even watch people skate. weirdly enough that this park has a skating rink, but not a bathroom? regardless, my favorite time to come down is in the fall, just to see the trees dancing and turning beautiful colors(see my photos) I think that the point of a park is to come and escape, and in this case this park does just that, close enough to all the action, but quiet enough that you can relax and let the day zoom by. one of the newer parks(common's) in the city, and it really seems ahead of its time, even five years later(at the time of writing) another bonus is being able to sit at the lakeside and just watch all the lake activity as well. very happy to come here and just hang out. transit option are the #6 bay south, Sherbourne south as well, and parking is integrated with street parking, and parking at George brown college or the Corus building(above or below ground)

Nice place to go for a stroll. Especially in summer. There's a beach and quite a few places to sit.

Unlike most parks, you'll find no grass or benches here. What used to be a parking lot is now filled with gardens, native plant species, prairie meadow, marsh, and trees. A silver-coloured metal structure houses a waterfall bordering one side of a courtyard. At the other end you'll find a rock "outcropping" (a 650 ton rock, coaxed out of the Canadian Shield and reassembled in the park) The park draws many visitors, tourists and is a great place for celebrity sightings during the Toronto Film Fest. Workers (like me!) eat lunch and people-watch at the bistro tables and chairs scattered throughout the park.

The "Park" in Yorkville is very interesting...It encompasses so many different aspects and attracts such a wide range of dwellers given it's small size and lack of park-like features...such as grass. Yet, it has a rare, and unexplainable beauty to it. From across the street you'll notice an array of photographer's snapping, model's posing, kid's playing, youngsters tanning, business men and women talking shop, and not to mention the view of some of the most expensive cars money can by doing their Tour Du Yorkville. The pond is surrounded by a red mosaic-tiled sitting wall; of course, it had to be red in colour! Adjacent office towers get a high aerial vantage point to view the heart in its entirety. The park occupies 8,100 square metres (2 acres). This site used to have a circular eastbound off-ramp from the Gardiner Expressway, and was called York Street Park. The major concrete structure has been converted into a lush park. It is quite a departure from the concrete jungle of downtown Toronto. Two mature trees have been retained, and new trees have been planted lining the sidewalks along the perimeter. One of the trees, a Northern Catalpa tree, is on its own island on one side of the pond. There are bronze-cast native-Canadian animal sculptures around the park: beaver, bear, fox, squirrel, rabbit, opossum, owl, woodpecker, etc. On the southeast corner, there is an outdoor seating area, great for relaxation or a snack/meal break. On the northeast corner, there is a dog off-leash area. There are park benches and a water bottle filling station. There is no children's playground. There is no free WiFi. The park is wheelchair accessible. There are no washrooms. There are expensive paid parking lots. Review 2023-220

I asked them for an exception, and I know it is an exception, I would have been more understanding if they were being reasonable, more logical, empathetic, and not rude. But, bad customer service sours the full scenario whether it was a yes or no. I told them you are losing business and their response was "actually we are not", clearly they do not care about my business - their policy is inconvenient and I am going to Playtopia next, amazing customer service and cheaper actually. I hope you keep getting business but better your customer service!
