Unfortunately I haven't been to this establishment in a while but yikes. I did order a bowl of rare…read morebeef pho for here and changed it to go.... That shouldn't be an issue. I was given a bag with one container of noodles and broth and meat all together/ there was no sides of typical Thai basil and other Vietnamese accompaniments that come with pho... The broth is flavorless. The noodles as another reviewer pointed out were very very little for the price of the soup and for pho in general. I usually don't go back and change reviews but I can't express how dissatisfied this is. I'm glad I actually checked the bag! I had to ask for another to go container to separate the noddles from the broth ( pho should never be served this way) I had to ask for Thai basil and everything else pho is served with. Unfortunately they are closing this location today and I can see why. This isn't how pho should be and even changing a for here order to a to go doesn't make a difference for the broth, packaging, noodle ration etc

Their vegan fried spring rolls and brussel sprouts are equally impressive, as well. I don't even like brussel sprouts, but I love the ones here. I'm so happy that this local business placed roots in Beverly - they've significantly improved the vegan game in the area. Soall is located on Rantoul Street and metered parking is available out front. The customer service is great and the bistro itself is brand spanking new. For now I'm only doing takeout, but I look forward to dining-in in the near future. YELP'S 2021 REVIEW CHALLENGE: #2

The service was great and our server was amazing. The ambiance was a little bar feeling with lots of wood tables which I liked. Now let's get to the food.. Pork buns: the pork was cooked perfectly and the bun was nice and soft. The sauce went well everything and it's a great starter dish. Spicy Kimchi Ramen- this consists of pork belly, pickled mushrooms, kimchi and fried garlic. The ramen was really good and had a lot of flavor with just the right amount of spice from the kimchi. Perfect for a cold day! Colonel Sanders Ramen- this had a pork broth with fried chicken and was delicious and moist. Also had corn with Vermont butter which you can taste through the bowl. This dish was the highlight for me and I'll definitely be back again. If you're in Salem, MA and are craving ramen then be sure to give this place a try.

Had the pleasure of having the owner as one of the waiters and he was so sweet and passionate about his store. I would absolutely love to come back here and eat here again.

So many dishes were just an explosion of flavor in your mouth! I'm not a huge foodie or get weirded easily by consistency and I went all in and was so grateful! The service was impeccable! Squad is on top of it and all the little delights of surprise were the perfect touch! Especially the Verona chocolate add on as we exited! Ambiance was moody and just the vibe we wanted for our long overdue date night! A++ all around and can't wait to go back!

I also liked the lacquered fois gra and the bone marrow bahn mi and a slaw salad w apple and mushroom. Also highly enjoyed the ice cream at the end. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. And the woman- I think the front of the house manager was also kind and polite. Now for the rest of the food. We got the 14 course tasting menu. I wish I could grant it 5 stars but my husband And I agree it is a 3 star rating. The flavors were powerful on each dish - the overwhelming taste however was much TOO SALTY. This was the case for the egg noodles, the kale, the bahn mi, scallops even the chocolate mousse at the end. We also feel the portion sizes were just too small. Literally one bite for the majority. Some were 3 or 4 bites (salads). I know it's not the same type of restaurant but I can't help but to compare it to the Zuma experience at the Four Seasons in Boston. THAT was amazing. And the portions were 5 times bigger. Steak. Lobster. of course sushi and a magnificent dessert boat of highest quality gelato and fruit. An experience memorable for life. Nightshade won so many awards. We had to try it. But it didn't meet our exoectations. Portions need to be bigger. Flavors need to be more subtle on the salt. It is a beautiful and casual at the same time environment - people very friendly. And we appreciated the Anniversary card!
