We used Sage Floral Studio as our florist for our wedding in September 2019. I had several calls and emails with their team leading up to the big day to go over our flower needs and vision. They patiently answered all my questions and had no issue updating my order as I needed changes. We went with a full flower setup including a bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, an arch flower ensemble, flowers for our wedding cake and greenery and flowers for our tablescapes. While flower arrangements can be pricey, I appreciated that they worked with my budget while still ensuring our vision came to life. I've used Sage over the years for flower arrangements and small gifts and always been happy. After we using Sage for our wedding- I absolutely had to write a review to rave about how absolutely amazing they are. I couldn't be happier! All of the flowers were so much nicer than anything I'd imagined, they were BEAUTIFUL. We have little to no flower knowledge and a very limited idea as to what we wanted and what was even possible. Sage asked just the right questions to get what was in our heads and then blew us out of the water. Personally ordered a centerpiece for the table and was way beyond disappointed! After discussing what I wanted and saying "NO ROSES" the centerpiece arrived with 3 roses. The arrangement was $75 with a $12.50 delivery charge. For $92, I received a bowl with 3 orchids (1 of which was pushed in so far you could not see it) 3 roses which were opened and will most likely not last 3 days, a kale, some sticks, and a ton of cheap greenery. The driver parked across the street and couldn't find the townhouse. I had to go out, cross the street and carry my own centerpiece up to my house. So much for the $12.50 delivery. Do not bother. The flowers at Crosby's Super Market are better quality and a quarter of the price! When we called to tell Sage how unhappy we were with the product, they were rude...Will NEVER use them again. read more

I can't even count the number of times I have ordered flowers from Sage and I have never been disappointed!! The level of creativity and the variety of flowers always amazes me. I have had centerpieces made for a 60th birthday party, as well as for various dinner parties. I would not recommend Sage Floral to anyone that is remotely on a budget. My Fiance and I met with her, told her our budget and she happily agreed to everything. After putting the deposit down, we received the quote. However, when we received the quote of what everything would cost, it was well above what we agreed upon and with minimal flowers. I decided to go without center pieces and spend more on each bouquet. My Bouquets now went from 35 dollars a piece to around 50 dollars a piece. We were not doing any flowers at the church either. Our order was: 8 bouquets and 8 boutonnieres and the possibility of a flower crown. This was all to be delivered 2 miles up the road. After speaking on the phone with her many times, she did not instill confidence in me that my flowers would be nice. I originally wanted just a bundle of eucalyptus (6.99 for a bundle in a store) and she said that she could not do that for less than 45 dollars. I now put the price at 70 dollars for each bouquets but she still was saying, "I dont want you to be disappointed." I believe for 70 dollars, when I want minimalist bouquets for my bridesmaids, should be more than enough. However, when I asked her if she had photos of bouquets around 70 dollars that she had done, she said she did not have any. She complained that I changed my mind frequently. When I am spending that much money, I believe I should be able to change my mind as much as needed within reason. I changed my mind about three times with sage. First, when I decided to cancel the center pieces and put more into the bouquets in order to repurpose them for the tables. Second, when I found out even a bundle of eucalyptus would be almost 50 dollars I decided to spend around 60ish to put more flowers in them. Then finally putting our flowers around 70 dollars each with the hope to have a decent bouquet. Note: my bouquet was around 180 and she didn't even make me feel confident about that. Whenever I changed something, she would send me an updated quote that still had problems within it that we had resolved pretty easily. When I told her the final changes around March, she never send me a quote and therefore, when we spoke in August, she made me feel like it was the first time she was hearing it. However, it was her mistake and not mine. Sage left me feeling bad about my budget, even though I was trying very hard to make it work. Flowers are my favorite part about weddings but because we were paying for our own wedding, we didn't have as much to spend. Sage clearly had other customers who would spend the prices she was asking for and therefore didn't need to worry about her customer service with me. I was so unhappy with my experience at Sage that I cancelled our flowers three weeks before the wedding. I'd rather not have any flowers and then be treated the way they treated me. Because she was unwilling to return our deposit of 200 dollars, we had them make the boutonnieres. Ironically, my Fiance forgot to pick them up on the day off. We didn't even miss the boutonnieres and honestly, we were both happy to not have to deal with Sage on the day of our wedding. We ended up going to a local grocery store the day of. I got the MOST BEAUTIFUL bouquets for the grand total of 350 dollars. That was for 10 bouquets. I believe a good florist, no matter the budget, should never make someone feel bad about their budget. Sage felt judgmental and unwelcoming. Even if you are not on a tight budget, spend your money elsewhere. read more
