VERY disappointed with lack of customer service. I booked flowers for a celebration of life- paid in full and 6 days later I get a call asking if I could receive my order a day later- because they would be on vacation! Never was I given any assistance or referral to find another florist on such short notice. Was I to reschedule a celebration of life to "a day later"? No apology was ever given- just matter of fact "we will be on vacation ". Why did they take my order and payment then? When I asked for a refund I was told it would take a few days. They have lost my business and I have spread the word. Don't count on them! read more

Oh, boy--where to even start...I ordered flowers for Mother's Day and was incredibly disappointed. I used to be a florist, so I know all too well how stressful holidays are. That said, I was cursed at, lied to, and even had my order canceled. Do yourself a HUGE favor and don't shop here. I was told that the owners are a nightmare and everyone was right. I just love Audrey's. They did my wedding 9 years ago . I left the flowers and design up to them only requesting a few in season flowers, and the arrangements were absolutely spot on and the scent of the herbs included within the arrangement were so delightful. I don't buy flowers much sadly but when I do, it's Audrey's only !!! read more

The flowers for our daughter's wedding were fabulous, and beyond our expectations! We were a little concerned initially because Heather was not enthusiastic about going to a Boston venue. She and her team arrived on time and we couldn't have been happier with all of the arrangements! The flowers on the cake perfectly complimented its style. The bouquets and boutonnieres were fresh, fragrant and lovely. The bridal bouquet was gorgeous! As a bonus the arrangements lasted for a week at home in fresh water! Had an arrangement sent to a local friend and was disappointed that it wasn't as described on the website. After contacting the owner about the arrangement she tried to convince me that it was as ordered. IT WAS NOT! I have used Audreys before and find that since it was taken over by current owners the variety and service have suffered. DO NOT recommend this florist especially if you are looking for flowers for a special occasion. You will most likely be disappointed. read more

I worked with Dee after an extremely unsatisfying foray with another floral company. She treated me - from beginning to end - like I was the most important bride she had, and one with the biggest budget. In all reality I had a very small wedding and only needed a couple of things - everything else I did myself (looked stunning by the way). She was responsive, professional, warm, kind, and made me feel like she appreciated my business, even though it was monetarily limited. Dee also got back to me immediately whenever I emailed and I never wondered about what the status of my order was. The work they did was perfect. They did everything right. Heather from Audrey's Flower Shop did such an amazing job with our wedding flowers at Cruiseport Gloucester. From the beginning she made herself available to speak with us over the phone many times as our order changed. We had a unique wedding theme where each table what a different place we had traveled to therefore, each table had different flowers on it. Heather worked with us to make the most out of my centerpieces without robbing the bank. She also helped make recommendations for the bouquets and boutineers according to weather (we got married in the middle of july) and color preferences. The week before the wedding we went to drop off all the unique vases to Heather. It was fun sharing in the pre-wedding excitement with one of our vendors who was as equally excited as we were. It made the day of the wedding feel like a friend was coming to drop off flowers to our hotel room instead of a random person we'd never met before. Heather thought of everything: flowers in water, easily transportable packaging for the limo, she even helped all the groomsmen pin their flowers on their jacket!! She really did do everything possible to not only ensure our flowers were flawless for our big day, but she worked with our other vendors to see how the flowers fit into the bigger picture. It as clear that Heather listened to what we wanted during our pre-wedding meetings because we were blow away when we walked into our reception space and saw the beautiful, picture-perfect flowers! We worked with Dee mostly but also with Heather. They were fantastic. They were easy to get a hold of and very helpful. The flowers on the day off the wedding came early. I was very happy about this.They were very kind and professional even when I was getting a little nuts! They were also great regarding flexibility with prices, and never tried to have me buy something i did not want. I would definitely use them in the future! The only issue my husband had was that the delivery man did not put on their boutineers. But the photographer was there to assist. read more

After the new owner, Heather took over, I decided to keep my business with the same shop. Anytime I call the store directly, they all know who I am, and greet me happily and with excitement. The service I receive is nothing short of excellent. The quality of the flowers is superb. Audrey's flower shop provided gorgeous flowers for my wedding this past weekend. they were so beautiful and perfect! Dee and Heather listened to my ideas and desires for flowers and colors and made many changes and additions up to the last minute so that everything could be perfect. They didn't push any additional items and were accommodating to my making my own center pieces to save on $$. They added the flowers to the pieces just like I'd asked. Heather and Dee from Audrey's were by far the best vendor to work with from start to finish. I was truly amazed at how responsive and how dedicated they are to their clients. From initial meeting, to numerous emails from me with questions throughout the wedding planning, to meeting with me again in person when I decided to change everything up, they were so accommodating and understanding. I went in when they opened the other day to request a flower halo for my friend who is passing away. They were SO nice and were able to make it for me in an hour and a half. I was disappointed with the product (bridal bouquets) and the customer service we received for our wedding. We had discussed what we wanted for flowers for the ceremony and had a written list. The bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were simply not what we ordered. The color and type of flowers were wrong. This led to quite a lot of frustration just minutes before the ceremony began. The arrangements for the altar were lovely, though. After the wedding I called to point out the problem and after showing the written record of what we ordered and photos of what our bouquets actually looked like, they finally admitted their mistake and eventually offered a refund for the 3 bouquets that were not delivered as we wanted. That seemed reasonable, but we never received a refund even after calling and emailing several times. I just gave up! I was more disappointed in the customer service than in the mistake with our flowers. read more

I have to agree with Liz H. I am more than disappointed with the customer service provided by Audrey's Flower Shop. My boyfriend had ordered a dozen red roses for me for valentines day. He called a week ahead to order. They have delivered to my home many times. To make a long story short: the flowers were never delivered after several calls regarding delivery. I was at home all day yet they lied to me and said they had tried to deliver my arrangement which was not true. They also tried to set up delivery for the next day. I said I knew that my boyfriend had paid extra to have the flowers delivered on Valentines Day. At 8:30pm that evening they flowers had not arrived. The last conversation with them was that they would get them to me that day. We had to cancel our dinner reservations for that night because we were here waiting for the promised delivery. I feel they knew when they called me the last time that they were not going to deliver the flowers that day at all !!!!!!!!! I called and left a message to cancel the order and credit his account for the monies charged. I never heard from Audreys and to this date my boyfriends account has not been credited. I don't think it is a coincidence that Liz H. had the same problem. They never returned my call , admitted to their mistake nor did they refund his money. This is not the way to do business. I too am more disappointed with their attitude toward customer service than anything else. I would not do business with them again! read more

Wow, I was shocked to come online and find all these great reviews. They must do really nice weddings. My review however is a flower delivery on Valentines Day! My husband always uses Russel's, however they were booked solid. He placed the order with Audrey's even though we have had trouble in the past. The order did not come to my work as expected. I knew it was supposed to come and saw order upon order delivered on Middle street, but not to me. My husband called several times and they told him definitely by 11am. 1 no flowers, 2 no flowers, 3 no flowers, 4 no flowers. I finally called and talked to a woman named Bea(manager) I told her to cancel my husbands flower order and take it off our card. She insisted she would send the flowers anyway AND remove the charge. I left work with no flowers and was told they arrived at 4:45. Really! The slip on the flowers even says "before 11". This was horrible! HORIBBLE. I have also checked our bank statement and the credit for the flowers is not there! After mentioning this story, to friends and family. I mostly got a knowing nod and said try Celia's next time Russel's is booked! I am disgusted! Oh ok got it. The reason all the "bad" reviews were not showing was a filter. My husband and I made a lot of good choices in terms of the vendors we worked with for our wedding. But, by far, the best choice we made was hiring Heather and her team at Audrey's to handle our floral design. From the first meeting we had with Heather in her loft above the shop, we knew we were working with a dedicated, passionate professional who loves what she does -- and it showed; boy, did it show. My husband had a very clear vision of how he wanted our flowers to look; opting for a melange of different, unique bouquets for every table (we spent a year collecting antique milk glass and mercury glass vessels to be used through the venue) and Heather was the perfect collaborator. She remained true to our vision, but steered us in directions we hadn't thought to explore when she felt strongly about something (she even acted as an impromptu conflict mediator at times). We're from out of town, but she always made time to see us whenever we asked. And her team (including the incomparable Dee) is just such a joy to work with: We not only hired a fantastic vendor, we made some great friends. And when our big day finally came, the flowers (and every other detail that bore Heather's touch; she did so much for us) were even more exquisite than we could have imagined. Our guests are still talking about them -- my mother used the word "fairytale" to describe how Heather was able to transform our already-gorgeous venue (the Willowdale Estate in Topsfield). I would whole-heartedly and without hesitation recommend the services of Audrey's Flower Shop to any brides- and grooms-to-be...I know I'll never use another florist in the area again. read more
