Okay, I sound like a broken record, but the record isn't broken here. Once again, I received a gorgeous piece with Memorial Day colors. I always get the the top of the line.... Premium. Well, it was even better than the picture showed. The red roses looked like velvet. I had to feel them to see if they were real.... and yes they were. They added in gorgeous red berries and it brightened up this lovely piece. It was chock full of beautiful flowers and as usual, I received many compliments on it. This piece was better than I imagined. Thank you Lorraine's flowers. Also, the delivery man was very kind and friendly too. read more

Disappointed in the bait and switch practices. Lorraine got handed a $100 order from Boston Blossoms to fulfill and they decided to deliver a poor, cheap, tacky alternative that looked nothing like the original order. I ordered a contemporary rectangular planter with 5 different multicolored plants and they provided a tacky white basked with 3 cheap plants in a single color palette with a plastic stick that it's hard to read "Happy Mothers Day". Called to express my disappointment and the owner claims she did what she could with $65 and that she made the arrangement as close as possible to the original. This is a total lie because if you look at the pictures she clearly decided to make a quick buck by accepting to fulfill an order using drastically subpar materials and a left over Easter basket. A total disgrace. And she had the gall to be upset when my sister went to get a replacement arrangement. Unethical florist, stay away. read more

I ordered a floral arrangement to be delivered to my mother for her birthday through Teleflora. It was assigned to a florist in another North Shore town. Not only did that shop deliver it a day late, but the arrangement was sub par. Then in comes Flowers by Lorraine to save the day. They delivered the most beautiful floral arrangement! This is the highest quality and professionally crafted arrangement that I have ever seen! My mom was thrilled. I highly recommend Flowers by Lorraine! You will not be disappointed. I recently sent a floral arrangement for a dear friend who passed away. I wanted this arrangement to be over the top beautiful. I reached out to Robin and told her my thoughts. She immediately put me at ease and said, "Bring over whatever you want me to make this arrangement with." I brought her a picture of Tom Brady - as it was his favorite player in the NFL. It was a bit on the larger side, but Robin had it placed perfectly in the basket with flowers all around it. It was the most amazing arrangement I have ever seen at a funeral home. Thank you, Flowers by Lorraine for always taking such awesome care of me. read more

Ordered flowers from their website on Sat afternoon as they were already closed. Picked out a Teleflora arrangement but followed it up with a phone call on Monday morning as soon as they opened at 10 am to be sure they had the exact flowers in stock so that the particular piece could be made. Was assured by Jacquie that the order was all set. Didn't hear from recipient of said flowers all day. Called florists at 10 minutes to 4pm and spoke with a gentleman named Sam. He assured me that flower delivery was about to take place at any time. Spoke with recipient and was told NO FLOWERS arrived or were left on front porch. All night wondered what had gone wrong!!! NO PHONE calls from florist shop! The following morning I called the florist and was told the delivery person could NOT find the address but assured me they were out for delivery again. When the flowers arrived my friend took a picture of them and sent it to me where I noticed there were only 4 peach roses ipo 6. I called the florist and explained that I ordered the 3rd choice which was the deluxe ($20.00 more) and 3 roses more than the original picture posted. She said she would adjust the bill $12.00 which I said was fine as the arrangement only had 4 peach roses. Shortly (about 25 minutes) the owner Robyn called and said I was too difficult to please and NOT TO CALL Flowers by Lorraine again! This is the 3rd error in 3 years....I tried being an understanding and kind person toward the employees when placing orders but can honestly say they DO NOT take pride in what they put out at Flowers by Lorraine. read more

Lorraine & her staff are AMAZING! They are friendly, easy going, and try to make sure that you have a 5 Star experience. I had seen a beautiful photo online of something that they had created, when I called Lorraine allowed me to text her daughter a picture so that they could re-create the masterpiece. I think they are reasonable on their prices too... I have been inside their shop and also ordered flowers. Both experiences absolutely made me feel appreciated and wanting to order more from them. I recommend using them for all occasions. read more

I had been using this so to seems my mom flowers for her birthday for years. On her 80th birthday my 3 siblings chipped in an wanted this year to be extra special. My mom would always joke about the vase,as she was acquiring quite the collection. I decided to get her a unicorn vase as a joke. I figured she could give it to my niece after. When the $80.00 bouquet arrived, I was mortified and embarrassed. Not only was it very small, it was a HALF bouquet. I couldn't believe Flowers by Lorraine had taken our $80 and sent this thing to my mother on her 80th birthday. Shame on you! I will never use this shop again. read more

Please see the picture of what I asked for versus what I received before deciding to purchase from this florist. I ordered these flowers as a gift for someone and chose the premium version of the arrangement. If you look at the arrangement you will see that it consists of roses and lavender as well as some greenery. What I received was a montage of roses, cheap white flowers, and lavender that look like they had been thrown into the vase. It looks akin to what you would get from the grocery store for $30-$50 which is not what I would expect from a florist. I contacted them and let them know that I was dissatisfied with the arrangement. They then explained to me that they had followed the recipe for the arrangement to a T (a recipe that I suppose they came up with). I'm not sure how this resolves the issue of the arrangement not looking like the picture. It would seem to me as if the recipe needed to be updated so that it results in what is advertised OR change the picture to reflect what you're actually producing from the recipe. They offered to pick up the arrangement and remove all of the additional flowers that they added and made it seem like they had done me a favor by adding additional flowers that were not in the picture. I told them that if the resultant arrangement didn't look like the picture of what I ordered, there would be no need to pick it up and do anything to it. I'll let you be the judge. Do these look like a premium arrangement? read more

So I live about 300 miles from Lynn, and i try and see the love of my life as often as I can. When I can't, I call Flowers By Lorraine. Every single time their staff cranks out an incredible bouquet of fun for Ruthie. They take their time with you on the phone and I have never ever been disappointed. The bonus is that the flowers stay so fresh for so long they continue to keep on "giving ". I tried the 1- 800- route several times. Don't bother. No woman in their right mind wants to receive a box of flowers that she has to assemble. Hats off to the delivery guy too. read more

I ordered and arrangement for my mom which was pretty. I verbally told the person I spoke to what message I wanted written in the card. I received an email confirmation with the message typed with typos. I called back to get these corrected and spent 5 min going over the changes. The card was never edited and it was sent with typos and the wrong message which is kind of awkward... It was really convenient, but the customer service was not really that reassuring, and seemed annoyed when I called to verify payment/delivery. At the end of the day the flowers were delivered on time which is appreciated. read more

Been meaning to pop over here for some time now, and so glad I finally did. I went in for a bouquet for my friend's birthday, and they had some premade that were just gorgeous. They wrapped them up, put a bow on them, and put a cute Happy Birthday stick in them. Both owners were working and they were SO nice. They introduced themselves and told me a little about themselves. They told me the best way to care for the specific flowers that I purchased too. You're not getting that service from Stop & Shop or Whole Foods! They have so much more than just flowers - candy, vases, balloons, plants, even makeup. There is nothing better than a great local business. I will definitely be back every time I need flowers!! read more

I ordered flowers for my uncle's wake and received a day late. Then my family got them the next day. My uncle had no flowers at his wake and I was mortified. I ordered flowers for my friend's first day of work through "from you flowers" and Flowers by Lorraine fulfilled the order. I put in my order very quickly and didn't notice that the autofill feature put in my name and address for the recipient's address. I contacted "from you flowers" and they updated the information and passed it on to Flowers by Lorraine. The corrected name didn't make it to the florist. This was all totally my own fault. Flowers by Lorraine got in touch with me when there was some confusion with the delivery and they worked very hard to make sure the flowers got to the right person, place, and on time. The flowers received were beautiful, and I'm so appreciative that Flowers by Lorraine worked hard to help me fix my own mistake, and to brighten my friend's day! read more

My husband and I were married last June and used Flowers By Lorraine. We worked with Robin and had a very nice experience! She was extremely flexible and professional! I was an out of town bride and basically had one day (the Saturday before Mother's Day) to get my flowers ordered last minute after another florist canceled on me! She was happy to accommodate me as a walk in! We talked about what I wanted, I gave her a few pictures for inspiration and she did the rest! I was so happy with the flowers we got for the wedding particularly my bouquet which was absolutely stunning! I would highly recommend Flowers by Lorraine to any bride! They were responsive, timely, professional, and very reasonably priced! read more

My mother ordered flowers for me for my graduation. I live in Lynn. She lives in Ohio. She was looking to find a florist to use for all her flower and gifting needs when she wanted to send flowers to me. Flowers by Lorraine is NOT going to be it. 1) She requested them to be delivered at 5pm. I got home at 4:00 and they were sitting on my porch. Anyone could have taken them 2) She paid for a mylar balloon. It was not there. When my mother called to complain (and to get her money back for the balloon at least), she was told that someone would call her back. Four days later, after never receiving a call back, she called. A nasty woman answered, told her it "was taken care of" and hung up on her. Mom called back to express her shock and the rudeness of their business and the woman never apologized. She said that she had someone come in that needed flowers for a funeral and she needed to take care of that person, so she didn't have time to talk on the phone. Really. Rude and seems to do what they want with flowers and delivery. read more

I am so happy with the recent bouquet I received from Flowers By Lorraine! My dad wanted to surprise me for my birthday, seeing as we are all in quarantine and could not be together. He did not have an order placed ahead of time so, due to the circumstances, he didn't think he would be able to get a bouquet to me. However, they gladly made one for him..for me! I ordered flowers online as a gesture of sympathy for a dear friend's mother, and the flowers were delivered BEHIND the porch. they were only discovered today, about 10 days after they were delivered, all dead. read more

I went to their website to view what you could order for sympathy arrangements. They clearly pictured a bouquet of WHITE tulips with green spike pine. When I called to order the woman told me that I couldn't get the green spike pine (not in season) but they would substitute it with some like greens. When I arrived to the funeral home to see RED and YELLOW tulips with just assorted greens and baby's breath that looked nothing like what they pictured (and I had seen on their website) seems that Flowers by Lorraine choses to send whatever they have on hand and to ignore what you request. If they were going to change the ordered flowers they should have called me so that I could have sent something I wanted.....not they wanted. After all if my credit card didn't go through they would have called me back in a heart beat. I was shocked and very disappointed as I took the time to look at their website and fully expected to see WHITE tulips ....more appropriate for sympathy than RED and YELLOW. When I called to complain I got a very nasty woman who only wanted to argue with me. No apology, just attitude. She agreed to refund me $10, which I did not think was right because the whole order was not what I specified. If you don't care what you are paying for.....go ahead and do business with them. read more

My go to flower shop. Amazing work and great staff!

I am extremely disappointed with this company. I ordered flowers to be sent to a wake last week. They were supposed to be delivered on Thursday 7/07/2011. I know they usually verify the order against any local wakes and I ordered through Lorraine's because they are in Lynn and so was the funeral home (Cuffe-McGinn). Today I got a call from Lorraine herself. She was actually laughing (not an exaggeration) about the fact that they wrote down the wrong date and didn't figure that out until the attempted delivery today. I was sending the flowers because I was out of town on business and unable to attend the wake or funeral. Lorraine told me she would refund my money but obviously, that does not entirely make things right. Accidents do happen and companies that are sincerely sorry and go "above and beyond" to make you happy when they mess up. Lorraine said that she would have the flowers delivered or refund my money. I thought they should do both. She said that the person's house was too far and they would not do that. The house is in Middleton, which is about 20 minutes away. Like I said, nobody is perfect but I expect a company that deals with wakes and funerals to be more sensitive to a customers needs. Due to the way Lorraine handled the situation, I will not be using their services in the future. There are many places where you can get quality flowers with great service and better prices than Lorraine's and I would recommend using them if you need anything. I will never buy anything from them ever again. read more

Ordered a nice, "elegant" dish garden with fresh flowers for a 60th birthday and Lorraine sent a mylar balloon that said Happy 40th attached to a mishmash array of florals in a basket.
