We were both placed in rooms near the front entrance. The therapist assigned to my wife behaved in a way that left her feeling violated and humiliated. What happened: * During the session he repeatedly moved too close to intimate areas. * He insisted she remove her shirt and bra for a back massage after she said she was not comfortable doing so. * He left the room without providing proper draping; when he returned he only gave her a bath towel and did not provide adequate coverage. * Her room had no door, only a small curtain, and was located near the front door where people were coming and going. This made the situation especially exposing and distressing. * By contrast, I was never asked to remove my shirt and was properly draped while the therapist worked my back. My wife left feeling victimized, embarrassed, and very upset. This ruined our anniversary and Valentine's Day. I am seriously considering filing a formal complaint and possibly pressing charges. Warning to other customers: Be cautious, especially women. This establishment failed to respect my wife's boundaries and provided inadequate privacy and draping. This happened at 5pm, time noted for evidence purposes.

Second thing is, while no oils were used, a scent was still left on me and my clothes, I don't like fragrances, so be sure to not wear clothes you don't want to have a scent left on. Ideally it would be scent free. Last thing is, I'm not sure they have any running water for a sink in the location, so while it was very clean and I think they have sanitizer, I'm not sure they can properly wash their hands between clients, etc.

Apparently they've been open for a while now, I just didn't know. I was in so much pain last night, and didn't want to go to the food reflexology place because frankly; they can increase pain; as they aren't really massage therapists - so I called Oasis. It was 8 p.m., and I saw that this place was open until 10 p.m. One four minute phone call, and I was booked!! Upon entering, I heard a woman yell out a name, three times, and a woman appeared from down the hall, very sweet. I mentioned that I'd called and needed an hour of body work. She said "You pay credit card or cash now," that was a bit off putting, but I was in a LOT of pain. I paid cash, fifty bucks for an hour "massage" and she said "come on," pointed to a room, and said "I bring change" so, I was waiting, and waiting, and realized maybe this is where I'm getting massaged. There was a table, and some oil, lotion and alcohol, so, I undressed and got on the table, about ten minutes later, a woman came in, and put the change on the "dresser" where the oil, lotion and alcohol were. When I asked her name she said "Ashley," oddly enough, the license outside for the massage therapist did not have the name of Ashley, so I asked if she was the massage therapist, she said "yes" and removed the blanket, and placed a towel over my body, and started PUSHING on my back, and shoulders. Ten minutes (at least) went by, and I asked if she was going to be massaging the areas I'd discussed on the phone, upper back, neck, shoulders and clavicle, pectoral area, and she removed the towel, got the oil and started massaging my back. Very deep, but kind of all over the place with the massage, she focused on the areas I spoke of, worked about a minute on each leg, didn't touch my hands or my feet. Now, I know, this sounds awful, right? NOPE - not really, just not what I like in a massage (normally), but I left there like a pile of mashed potatoes and gravy!! I had very little pain, and felt so much better. I didn't write a review last night because by the time I got home, it took all I had left to brush my teeth and get in to my bed!!! I rarely sleep past 4 a.m., I slept until 7:15 a.m., that's how great this massage was; although it was a lot different than what I'm used to; I'll be back. The next time, I'll ask for an hour foot massage, and ONLY feet, because she's strong, and I know that for me, a food massage tends to release a lot of tension and pain in my body. Don't let the exterior fool you, this place is good, for fifty bucks plus a tip, there's no excuse not to get a massage now and then.
