Such a cozy little restaurant for sushi! My husband and I went here for the first time and were quite impressed. The sushi was fantastic! We got the Godzilla roll, golden dragon roll and spicy mango shrimp roll. My husband also got the surf and turf, which I tried and it was also fantastic. I went here with a friend, and we arrived approx 1 hour before closing. We got various Maki and nigiri. I think they may have had extra fish that they needed to get rid of, because the pieces were HUGE! The rice in the nigiri was positively dwarfed. I cannot see how they can stay in business if that's the normal size of their nigiri. The fish was fresh, soup was hot and overall excellent meal. I will be back! read more

Definitely the best sushi spot in the larger area. It's an experience, the way the food is prepared and plated makes every dish a true delight. It's amazingly fresh, and you can tell it's made with care and love for the craft. Hard to eat sushi anywhere else after going here! read more

Ok so I give their sushi a 4 and their Thai food a 1. Dined inside and got some sushi which was ok. I got a pineapple fried rice with chicken to go. Someone literally just took some white rice, threw a bunch of pineapples on it with chicken. ZERO flavor. No seasoning whatsoever. What a diss appointment. I guess it's my mistake from ordering Thai food at a place that has sushi in their name. But they really shouldn't even offer Thai food. If they were just a sushi place I would have just eaten sushi and gave them a 4 star rating. I upped the rating to a 3 because the service was fast and courteous. Don't come here to eat anything other than sushi. read more

Sage Sushi is one of the best Asian restaurants in the area. The depth of flavor in those duck rolls was pleasantly unexpected. We got takeout so I imagine it would have been even better if we had it right in the restaurant. The sushi was nice and fresh and I appreciate they provided a bunch of pickled ginger. My family is gathering for the holidays this coming weekend and Sage Sushi is going to be our certain delicious meal. read more

It's nice to know that post Covid a restaurant can excel! Don't let outside fool you, place is clean, sleek and modern. Service was great. The food, fantastic! Everything was just mediocre for us. The fried rice was not fried and just had oversized vegetables in a sauce laid on top of it. The soba noodles had the same oversized vegetable problem. We suspect the spring rolls were from frozen and the miso soup was instant. Unfortunately we won't be back. read more

I enjoyed this place a lot. The Teriyaki Chicken breast was juicy, not dry - at all. Quite flavorful. The vegetables were just right. The rice was tasty (perfect) with their good quality soy sauce. Very long wait. Finally a woman appeared. The hostess / bartender told me to try someplace else because she already had two other tables. Probably you need to hire more ppl as two tables is all the hostess/ bartender/ server (she is literally the only worker interacting with diners) can do. There is probably room for 4o people in the restaurant, I count 2o now. Seems weird. Obviously a poorly run and managed place. For that many tables there should at least be a 2 servers and a bartender. Dear management you need more people. There are other ppl walking around that work here but they don't seem to be able to help customers. Why are there such high reviews? read more

I ended up stopping here with my three children all under 7 years old. We were planning on friendlys but came here instead. Got one chicken tempura bento box to share and the Mochi and fried ice cream. Everyone was happy :) my oldest said it was better than going to friendlys. The place is very modern and clean and it was quiet when we came in on a Monday at 1:00. The server was very kind and offered the kids lollipops on the way out. We'll be back! read more

I decided to stop by here last night on my way from Woburn back to the Cape area. Small world, but the last time I had sushi in MA was back in November at their Marstons Mills location. Very small world I ended up at their new location here in Lakeville. The location is great as the building is detached and has plenty of parking. Unfortunately, the place was dead which I hope was just because it was a Monday. I found the restaurant to be very attractive and the young lady bartender was very attentive. I had the Spicy Girl Roll, Salmon Roe, Scallop, and Uni Nigiri. The sushi was very good. I found the prices to be great compared to what I'm used to in DC. If I'm ever back in the area I'll definitely return. read more

First time here, we stopped for lunch and ordered bento boxes. (Which were not served in the usual boxes, but not a problem.) A bit pricey, bit quality, overall, very good. Shumai and maki both excellent. Beef teriyaki was also excellent, very high quality beef well cooked. Shrimp tempura, though, was disappointing, the shrimp too slim and too heavy on the breading, the accompanying veggies somewhat greasy. Still a 4 star review, though. I just wouldn't do the tempura again. Plenty of other things I'm eager to try on the menu, and very pleased to have this good a new Asian restaurant in this area. read more

Okay, let me just say WOW!!! This place is amazing. Great ambiance and friendly staff. But put that aside and consider the food. My wife hates Asian food but she got teriyaki chicken with vegetables and could not stop eating it. I ordered a Ninja Roll which is Shrimp tempura, lobster salad inside, shrimp, eel on top, served w. eel sauce & spicy mayo. My first piece made my eyes roll back in my head. My husband I went out to celebrate our anniversary. We went in with the decision to try a roll and if it was not good we'd go up the street and grab pizza. Saga Sushi is HANDS DOWN the most incredible restaurant around! First, the place is IMMACULATE...everything (including the bathrooms) was so well taken care of and clean that we could have eaten off the floor. The martini I tried first was so well paired with the sugared rim, that I tried another cocktail and it was made just as well. Absolutely delicious and all top shelf spirits. They're not messing around here! Let's talk maki rolls...I've been to Boston and Providence and always get what I paid for *with a few exceptions* BUT I have to say that Saga Sushi is the best sushi I have EVER HAD. The temperature of the rolls was perfect. I died and went to heaven when the first bite hit my tongue. The fish melted in my mouth. We tried a second roll, how did the next roll get even better? We ordered 2 more, just as delicious as the first two. Ok, pace ourselves yeah right! We then ordered a "special avo bomb" with mango. Now, the description truly did not appeal to either of us. Mango in our dinner?...but after we tried all the others we said "What the hell!" The presentation was beautiful, but dear god where did the chef get a magic wand from? We both tentatively took a bite and our mouths danced! I can't even describe how well paired his creation was! We finished with seaweed salad and....just one more roll. The place is incredible in every way. The service was quick, pleasant and efficient. He was as happy we found them as we were! We will definitely be back, and haven't stopped talking about our amazing find! I am so excited to have this restaurant with such high quality food and attention to detail very close to home. The food quality is above average, the execution is high, and the service is attentive. The space is clean and efficient, but lacks warmth. We visited the day after a large 1-2 foot snowstorm, and Ochi was one of the only restaurants open in town. I've eaten at Ochi 4x since it opened in 2023, although there's a lot more to explore on its expansive and prolific menu. On this visit, we tried a Tuna Poke Bowl, a Salmon Pome Bowl, a Katsu Ramen, a Mango Salad, and a Mochi desert. Regarding the Tuna Poke Bowl, Ochi took the liberty of substituting more expensive fatty tuna (Toro), for regular tuna (Maguro), a generous and appreciated gift as a thanks for dining on a very slow night due to the storm. Hence, I would recommend everything we tried: the Mango Salad, any of the Sushi, Sashimi and Maki choices, the Poke bowls and Ramen (especially the Spicy Miso Ramen, the chicken Katsu Ramen, and any of the traditional pork or beef Ramen choices). In addition, the deserts are especially worth trying, and are all well orchestrated. You can't really go wrong at Ochi.

Pricing is a bit on the higher end for the quality for sure, out of 7 dishes between a group of 4 and 2 were for sure pre-made items only 2 dishes were ok. As for the food itself, I can say it's more on a "cleaner" side vs the extra flavor and oily texture you'd get from a fast food chain. The ramen broth was subtle, the noodle perfect, but the flavor wasn't there. The Chef special roll was way over priced for what you get, especially only having 1 piece being the best out of the "assorted" fish. The hibachi wasn't good in my opinion, good portion though. Would not order that again. The chicken teriyaki flavor was great, chicken texture was more like grilled on a pan vs over flame. Loved the veggies though. The gyoza and takoyaki were good as well as the strawberry mochi icecream. Wish they were more friendly though, making us feel like we were inconvenient for them was a major turn off.
