    Kilkenny on tap!

Love this place! Service is great and you can't beat the outdoor atmosphere. Pizza is great and they have Kilkenny on tap. A must stop if you have ever looked down from the highway and wondered about it. You won't be disappointed.

Ketel One's Botanical Mule is amaaaazing!

Great spot by the water! Great staff and drinks! They have a spacious area out back for outdoor activities and regularly have events scheduled.

Waiting for our lunch and then heading back out on the trail. Love stopping at Sagwag for lunch and drinks.

I really like stopping there on our bike ride. My son and I stopped for lunch and enjoyed sitting outside.

Cold cups turn color at Sag Wagon which has a full bar, draft beer, and a variety of beers from domestic to craft brews.

A cozy local watering hole catering to area cyclists riding the nearby bike path, Sag Wagon is cozy on the inside and vast on the outside. Although the outdoor area is welcoming with fully covered, umbrella covered and uncovered areas and include corn hole and sand volley ball areas, the condition of the outdoor bathrooms and quality of the pre-fabricated but expensive pizza detracts from the overall experience. For $14.99 and $1.50 for each extra item, the pizza you get has a tough crust And cardboard flavor. It is expensive and not worth it in the least. If visiting, ride the trails, bring nutrition bars or hope for a local food truck to arrive and have a beer to add to your experience. The crowd is decidedly local, which is great for local color. This will be a limited visit. Spend your cash for meals at other restaurants, and if you want craft brews, visit them locally. Otherwise, enjoy this place for the charm it has--a place to grab a beer or two with some local color.

Service can be really good or just ok, depends on who you get. But the experience is nice. Cozy fun. Bloody Mary Bar is fantastic!

I knew I had to try it on a recent visit back home. My experience was mixed. The excellent: our table service was next level with each dish being thoroughly explained. We were educated on the thought process behind each wine pairing as well. Between each course our table was cleaned and we were presented with fresh silverware. The great: the food was presented beautifully and our meal looked incredibly impressive. The interior definitely invoked the Brooklyn vibes that inspired the restaurant in the first place. It feels very upscale hipster. The disappointing: though the overall experience was tasty and texturally perfect, each dish we tried had some overpowering element and flavors were not balanced. After the tuna crudo all I could taste was celery, after the morel mushroom pasta all I could taste were the pungent chive blossoms, and the trout skin/asparagus were over-grilled and I felt like I was eating a well prepared charcoal briquette. Maybe I'll give this place another try next time I'm in town and hope the flavors make as much sense as the rest of the experience.

I've never had a bad experience with the staff, though my friends and I usually sit at the bar. I used to get the Cuban on the pretzel roll back in the day but sadly the pretzel roll went away then so did the Cuban. One constant I've almost always have had is their Parmesan fries, they've always been a highlight either as a side to a burger or as an appetizer. Their version is easily some of the best fries I've ever had. The dipping sauce is on point, I recommend getting two of them. Something that has fallen off in recent years and I keep forgetting that fact, is their cheese wontons. I first fell in love with cheese wontons at Irish Democrat many moons ago and I've been chasing them ever since. They were good here once but not anymore - too much CRUNCHY wonton wrap and not enough cheese. People don't eat wontons for the wrapper, they go for the filling, if they didn't, that would be like going to Paris to see the frame and not the Mona Lisa. For these, the dipping sauce is always the best part of the dish. Overall it was a positive experience as usual. I will return.

The owners are often around and a pleasure to talk to as well. The beer is obviously really good too. HD creates a good variety of beers to choose from and if you don't drink beer they do have a cooler with hard ciders and other drinks along with a few non alcoholic options. In the summer they have bands on the weekend and a canopy over most of the outdoor seating. In the winter the have igloos to keep warm. They don't have a kitchen so no food except free popcorn and a snack bowl of mixed nuts. You can buy a few things to eat like peanuts and beef jerky. Th location is just off the Cedar Valley Nature Trail so this is a good location for those that bike or hike on the trail. There is a large bike rack to accommodate those individuals. It was their grand opening weekend, but unfortunately they were still waiting on their brewers license so they only had guests beers on tap. I'm sure at other times it would be quite cozy. There are about 4 tables and bar seating with the brewery off to one side. The staff was very friendly even in light of them being swamped.
