Absolutely disgusting service and food! Rude staff and over priced!! Go to Holdi in Little Sutton instead!

Decided to grab a bite to eat and we both went for the New kebabs, the wife had mixed meat and I had the chicken. Both came with fries but they let me swap to chips as I'm fussy but it wasn't a problem. Food was piping hot and tasted delicious, just sadly no room for the triffle cheesecake as soooo full....Next time? All the staff were very helpful and friendly checking on every one making sure the place was neat and tidy, very impressed. All in all a great day at the pub and England won so added bonus Until next time Team Wirral 100 Keep up the hard work!

Being from the US we don't have many local casual bars we either have restaurants or fancy bars and clubs with an age range of 20-40. It was nice to see people in here ages 18-80. You can see there was a young crowd that was obviously starting there and then going into town, it was nice to see 20-30 year old aged people in there with their parents and grandparents, being from California for me this was great to see! I didn't eat here but my brothers came in the next day to watch the game and they really enjoyed their food, they had bangers and mash and a toastie with chips and my parents enjoyed a Sunday roast dinner the next day. The toilets are not the cleanest but it's a bar, it's been remodeled since I was last in town about 5 years ago and they did a good job with that. The menu has literally everything you can think of, I think it was 5 pages. There's a variety of alcohol, they're open until 12 and overall it's a happening spot in this little town!

This is the perfect place to start or finish your exploration of the country park. The pub is family friendly and has a menu that accommodates for most tastes and the meals are two for one. It is well worth the money as the food is good, and, I believe, cooked fresh. We always stop here when we pop over for a trip to the park. There is plenty of seating as the pub is split into different areas and the beer garden is lovely on a nice day and offers lots of space for children to play while you relax. The exterior is well kept and suits its location perfectly; it has a seamless mix of old world charm and clean, chic design. People taking a jog or stroll on Otterspool promenade may have spotted the grand white facade of the pub over the water. The staff are always welcoming and the service is delivered to a high standard.

These pies didn't come from a frozen Asda box, if you know what I mean. It's also a convenient place to eat out after enjoying the nearby Eastham Country Park. I've eaten here twice now, and it's been a delight both times. The staff are extremely friendly and talkative (but not overbearing), and the pub itself is so pretty. It was built in the mid 1800's and is situated on the edge of the Mersey River, offering beautiful views. The interior is well decorated and clean. There is ample seating in several rooms, but I always prefer the booths and window seats so I can enjoy the views inside and outside while I eat. The pub is kid-friendly, and meals are two-for-one. There is even a function room upstairs that you can reserve for parties.
