They Web site doesn't tell, but I think that it actually used to be a large house. There are a couple of fireplaces, and in the winter they have real log fires burning. The food was delicious--real home cooked British meals, including a variety of vegetarian choices on the menu. The wait staff and bar tender were very friendly, and it was really enjoyable chatting with some of them.
