They Web site doesn't tell, but I think that it actually used to be a large house. There are a couple of fireplaces, and in the winter they have real log fires burning. The food was delicious--real home cooked British meals, including a variety of vegetarian choices on the menu. The wait staff and bar tender were very friendly, and it was really enjoyable chatting with some of them. This is a great place to take guests visiting from other countries as it's a very traditional, English experience. I would definitely eat here again, and highly recommend it.
