For our main course, we chose the Murg Chicken and Kadhayi Paneer, both of which were absolutely delicious and, dare I say, even better than what we'd find in India! Both desserts were melt-in-your-mouth fantastic with just the right amount of sweetness. This was hands down the best Indian food we've ever had

Upon taking a quick, curious look online at this place after my first meal, I was surprised to find that this place is not (yet) regarded in discussion about Calgary's finest Indian restaurants, as the meal I'd enjoyed had easily suggested that to me. From my perspective, the name of this business is exactly the service it provides. I did not recognize much of the menu outside of what is normally on an Indian restaurant in North America, aka about 50%. I used Google for a lot of the dishes because I've only ordered online, but other reviews have said that the staff are very friendly and are happy to take any questions. It is consistently amazing, quality food at a reasonable price. The menu is large but doesn't seem to buckle under its size whatsoever, everything I've had had been wicked fresh, implausibly flavourful and impeccably quality. I hope this place finds a lot of success! It is still young but I believe it has the makings of a legend among Calgary restaurants. Take the Passage.

No greasiness, no oiliness like you do find at some Indian restaurants. Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavor. It felt like I was in the heart of Punjab. The saag paneer had a great kick and creaminess to it. The chicken tikka was so tender. I'd never had masala bhaat and the blend of onions and tomatoes was chef's kiss. Loved the shredded paneer over the kulcha with the chole. The naan was definitely fresh to order, not like some places where you can't tell if it's frozen or not. Our waitress was so kind and helpful in picking out dishes. She even went above and beyond to give us tips for places to visit and things to see in the area. We've been back home for two days and all I can think about is how good their food is, but sadly we live over 2,000 miles away. Hugo stepped in and helped since our primary server was busy. He did an amazing job and made sure our experience was top notch. I started with the wicket looking for a spicy and sweet cocktail. It was ok, the garlic chili oil was a bit strong and took over the rest of the flavors. I wanted wine with the meal and Hugo went above and beyond. He brought out 3 recommendations with healthy sampler pours as well as the bottle to take pictures if I liked one of them. His choice of the riesling was spot on. It was not too sweet as I asked and had some earthy notes to it. He had the lamb kati and curry and chips for an appetizer. The lamb kati was outstanding. The ground lamb was cooked perfect with a hint of spice and flavored very well. We got chicken on the curry and chips. That was also very good, my only feedback was the chicken although flavored well was just a touch dry (would probably do the ground lamb next time). For diner we both had the lamb entree with a side of basmati rice and naan. The entree was outstanding, the lamb had a nice salt and pepper crust with great flavors. The naan was soo good, I called them elephant ears because of the size. They were flavored so good. We did not let a drop of the rogan josh sauce got to waste. Even though full we tried a bite of their deconstructed cheesecake type dessert. It was refreshing and lightly sweet. A tasty bite. Great experience, great food and even better service.

I think that the food here was flavored well and I especially enjoyed the Kati Roll as the paratha was really crispy. The portions are a bit on the smaller side though, especially for the price of each dish. Overall, I think it's a nice restaurant to have Indian food at if you're visiting Calgary.

She offered us each a bottle of water ( not sure why tap water was not offered) and we ordered a bottle of wine. They did not have any of the Cabernet on the menu, so they offered us a different Cabernet at the same price. It was fine. Two things that struck me as strange: 1. The server brought us our wine and two glasses, but did not open the bottle. I had to walk up to the bar to get an opener, and open the bottle myself. Granted, we visited just after the Covid era, so I want to give them the benefit of doubt on staff hiring. It took awhile to actually get our food. Thank goodness we had the bottle . To recap: good food, weird, in person customer experience
