I received a beautiful, contrast colored bouquet from friends yesterday. It was a stunning selection of hues and a variety of flowers. I loved it. A portion of the flowers were miniature (or French) Hydrangea that did not hold up after a few hours. I think they were compromised while being brought to our door? The temperature was in the 20° degree range, and the arrangement had no protective plastic covering around them. Otherwise, I could not have been happier with the flowers. Thank you! read more

Not happy with the floral arrangement. Doesn't look anything like the picture. In the picture colors were pastel and beautiful tulips. My arrangement was all dark orange and messy. Not happy with this place. Very expensive also. read more

I stopped by the shop this morning for birthday flowers for a friend. I asked for an arrangement to be made & was told there was nobody available to arrange anything that I picked out. . I found an item from their cooler but was disappointed that this was my only option. I then tried to pay in cash & was told I couldn't unless I had exact change. I did not have exact change & was frustrated that I had to use a credit card to pay. There was no sign saying that the store refused cash. I've never shopped anywhere that cash was refused. This was a convenient location to stop by. The selection was slim & I was disappointed in the lack of service & that I could only pay by credit card. I won't bother to return. read more

BRIDES BEWARE! Please save yourself the stress and heartache of working with Saffron & Grey. Their lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service is truly appalling. We were so disappointed with what we were provided. Every time we tried to contact them to speak to the owner/florist, Layla, about our concerns we were pushed off, ignored, talked down to, promised a refund and NEVER received it. She promised to refund a portion of our order on Sept 30, 2020. I followed up 2 weeks later since I had not received it. She said they put a check in the mail. Another week went by, still no refund. After multiple attempts to contact her again we finally got a response, she blamed it being late on the post office. It's January 16 and we STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT! Here's what went wrong: I spoke with Layla about having a family member pick up our flowers on the way to our venue. She assured me that would be just fine if we could get them into a floral fridge once we were there, since our wedding would be the next day. When my family member picked them up they were given no specific direction on how to transport the flowers at the time. Just handed a box with everything in it. It took them a little over an hour to get to our venue. Once they arrived, we went to put the flowers in the floral fridge and noticed that the water in the plastic bags, purposefully put in there by the florist, had reacted with the brown leaves she used in all pieces had caused them to bleed all over the white flowers. I ended up with ORANGE stained flowers on my floral crown, boutonnières & corsages - everything that had been placed into plastic bags and spritzed with water for transport. There were puddles of orange water in the bags. We called IMMEDIATELY and left a message for a call back ASAP the next morning since they were closed. The next day, our wedding day, we called them again in the morning since we hadn't heard back. My husband spoke to Hannah, the office manager, who assured him she would get the message to Layla. Layla NEVER returned the phone call. It took multiple calls and emails before Layla decided to return our call, two days after our wedding day. One would think if someone has an unhappy bride you would call them back ASAP to make things right. But apparently Saffron & Grey doesn't work that way and they don't care if their clients have a problem. You would also think someone who claims to be a professional would know what materials would bleed when introduced to even the smallest amount of water and avoid using them in pieces that would need to be in spritzed plastic bags. When Layla eventually decided it was convenient for her to return a phone call she even went as far to tell me that "That's how traditional dye's are made" HELLO?! Don't you think you would use that piece of knowledge when designing orders so they don't bleed and RUIN your clients flowers? On the consult form I filled out prior to working with them, I specifically requested ranunculus and magnolia leaves to be used in my flowers. What I got was dried flowers and brown leaves that bled all over. I had ONE single ranunculus in my bouquet and NO magnolia leaves. I also said I didn't want roses. I had roses in EVERY single one of my pieces. Why even have your customers tell you what they want if you are going to completely ignore it and do whatever you want without any type of communication on flower substitutions. Simply put, if you want someone who will COMPLETELY ignore everything you request for your wedding flowers and do whatever she wants anyway, this is the place for you. If you don't care about great customer service and like to be ignored when you have a problem with your flowers, this is the place for you. If you want to work with someone who has zero follow through & fails to return emails/voicemails, this is the place for you. If you'd like to be lied to about receiving a refund for damaged items, this is the place for you. Like I said, save yourself the stress and heartache and go somewhere else! read more

Perhaps the worst customer service experience I can remember. The 2 people who were working were amazingly Rude. I was looking for a nice little floral arrangement for my lovely wife. I was in the store more than 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged by the woman behind the counter. Her phone was much more important than I was. I then asked for some options regarding my options. No flowers or arrangements or even romantic gift options. What I was told, by the OWNER was that they "Didn't focus on my type of customer." This floral shop is as good as it gets. Outstanding customer service and unbelievably gorgeous arrangements. My grandmother passed away last year & the floral tribute Abby put together for our family had my father in tears. I'm very disappointed with the service I received today after ordering flowers for my wife. My wife received a call from the shop to make sure she would be home, and she was told there would be a delivery in a short time. She never left the house. In fact, I was there most of the afternoon, too. The shop called shortly before closing to say they had tried to deliver the flowers but no one had answered. We have two doorbells, but apparently neither was used, and the delivery person didn't call. (The person at the shop was very vague about whether or not the delivery person had actually tried the doorbell or attempted to call.) This could have just been a misunderstanding. However, when I drove to the shop to pick up the flowers myself, I was not impressed with the customer service. The vase of flowers was handed to me in a plastic bag (yes, for the cold weather), but all the water had poured out of the vase into the bottom of the bag. I asked about this and was told it'd be fine. The ribbon & the attached card were soaked and the flowers looked like they were starting to wilt, as they had likely been out of the water for a while. Such a disappointment to give this $60 arrangement to my wife. I usually order from another florist in town but wanted to try Saffron & Grey. That feels like a mistake. The customer service was very disappointing. I won't be ordering here again. read more

We met with the owners back in December 2015 for a wedding floral consultation. They agreed to meet us on a weekday at 4:00pm. We arrived early, but ended up waiting until 4:30pm before they showed up. We discussed our ideas, and we were told that they would get back to us sometime in the following weeks. Unfortunately, this never happened. Despite repeated phone calls and messages, we never heard back from Saffron & Grey. Too bad, their floral presentations looked lovely. I brought in vases for arrangements for my daughters engagement party. The arrangements were not what I asked for...when I brought this to the attention of Abby & Leyla, they said it was exactly what I asked for. The designs looked liked someone had dropped flowers on the ground and shoved them in my vases. I had requested a sample of the wedding centerpiece at the same time. I said clearly, no white roses. Guess what I received? Luckily this happened prior to the wedding!! So disappointing. read more

I totally disagree with the 5 star reviews. We contacted them regarding some arrangements for a banquet to recognize our senior moms. We were twice stood up for scheduled meetings. Also told that our team colors were "Hideous" (Black&Gold). When we scheduled to discuss final options, we were told that they would not be able to meet our needs( 3 days before the event). Amazing people - just down-to-earth and fun ladies who want to make beautiful things. 2. Absolutely professional, in the coolest way. Worked with me like a friend and treated me like their only customer. 3. HOLY GORGEOUS! My wedding bouquet alone blew my mind, then they knocked it out of the park with the reception décor. The flowers were my absolutely FAVORITE part of my wedding day, and I think it was top of the list for everyone else too - seriously, my mom will not stop talking about S&G and it has been 4+ months.
