First thing I noticed about this location is the way the handicapped parking was designed. My…read morefather and wife both have mobility concerns so this is something I notice right away. The first few stalls on the west side of the building in front are reserved for handicapped. Big enough I can back in a crew cab pick-up truck. No curb! All flat from the parking lot to the inside of the store. For anyone in a wheelchair or even using a walker, this is a huge benefit. Someone has been very thoughtful with planning. Once inside the store I sought out the Manager. I wanted to compliment him. Instead I found a fellow in a suit from Home Office who was bagging groceries. He told me this was a new design and that he appreciated my feedback. The fact a Home Office Suit was packing groceries is a good thing. Home Office is paying attention and involved with the business. Today was part of a Grand Opening. I did later get to speak with the Store Manager who told me he has some slight changes he wants to make with regard to parking. I commented, "It's nice to see that the store manager has the ability to make those kinds of changes. Many store managers do not." The manager's response was, "Absolutely. It's my store." This is definitely not the answer you would get from some of the other chains. Today the store was well stocked and very well staffed. It was busy and lines were moving quickly. There may be slightly lower price options elsewhere but those places charge for bags and do not have quite the same attention to customer service.

Bright, clean & fairly new Save On…read more Save On has a couple perks that keep me popping in like Daryl's Deal of the Week - think high end loss leader and often an excellent cut of meat from the butcher block. Another lovely thing about Save On is that they will give kiddos a free piece of fruit in lieu of the standard bakery cookie - love this! They have an Save On Rewards cats for deals and points accumulation that thankfully the cashier can lookup with your phone number once registered (one less card to carry around and lose). You need to know your price points when shopping here - there are deals to be had but many, many items are $1, $2, or even $3 more than what you find at Superstore. They had some about 7 nicer flower bunches for more than $20. I ended up getting a plant of mums for less than $10 with my Save On card. For a weekday evening around 6:30, it wasn't very busy and I didn't have to wait long in the line. The cashier was also kind enough to put the plant into a paper wrap for me. The store seemed clean and I would likely shop here for groceries if I need them and was in the area. If you are looking for flowers, you might not be able to find exactly what you want though.

This location does have some older staff, not just students but still offer poor service. Yesterday I was there after work so it was a little busy. I walked around the entire produce dept. looking for green onions, there was none to be found and no one to ask. I saw a coupon for Quaker products, buy 4 and get 1 free. I bought four boxes of oatmeal to get a free box of granola bars which were $2.49. The cashier took off $2 for the coupon so I said it should have been $2.49. She replied, no you only get $2 off. Instead of arguing with her since there was a line, I left with my groceries. With so much competition around, I think I will shop at Safeway and Save On Foods instead!

The meat selection wasn't much but it could have been the time of day we went. Three cashiers were open and we didn't have to wait in line. The Sobeys card is great as you can accumulate points when you shop to redeem for money off in the future. Will be shopping at this store more in the future!

I stop in weekly as it's very convenient for me however the cashiers are not very friendly except the bakery and deli. The store is well stocked with the exception of meat sales where occasionally they will sell out. The guy in the meat department will gladly offer a raincheck. The deli area offers fresh sushi, hot bbq chicken, potato wedges and dips like seafood, spinach and Mexican. The post office is handy for people who live in the area. You can pick up and send parcels and has all your mailing needs like envelopes and stamps. The bakery accepts special orders so talk to the manager or one of the staff and they will happy to help. I ordered a vanilla cake with raspberry filling and a ombré rose design and it was very pretty and delicious. The cake was moist and had enough filling you can actually take raspberry! Would definitely order again for a special occasion.
