Their candy section seems to be one of the best stocked ones in town, and their fruits and vegetables are always fresh. This particular location has a nice clean environment and all the shelves were well stocked. They still maintain a 'new' environment to them despite being open for over a year now. Keep in mind that this Save On is located in an area which can get heavily congested when everyone comes back from work. Parking can sometimes be a challenge since you have many different businesses using the lot during the day (including a GE outpost with a lot of employees). Like many of the newer and revamped Save-Ons, this one has a decent bulk department, and I also enjoyed their ready-to-eat foods. Several salads and the turkey wrap were usually excellent. Also, a small pharmacy area where I often had to stock up on allergy medicine. Unlike Superstore or Save On Foods, I've never had an issue with my orders here. They're packed on time. They're accurate. And their deli products are one of the reasons I still use this location from time to time. And unlike Superstore, their phones are always open and answered. There have been many times when using PC Express with Superstore, I couldn't get anyone on the phone. Orders are also packed really well too for transport. You have several choices: 1) Order online for in-store pickup 2) Order online for curbside pickup 3) Go in store, wear a mask, you will be asked to sanitize your hands, put on disposable plastic gloves and wait until you can be escorted by a staff-member who will scoop for you. Staff were on it. Wearing masks, and sanitizing between every customer. My online order was placed Sunday, and a staff member called me at 9:30am to let me know it was ready and waiting for me to pick up anytime. When I arrived, I didn't see many people in the store, so I decided I would go in and pick up in-store rather than taking a staff person off the floor to bring it out to my car... but could have as I did get the epic spot on the street just outside the door. There were a couple of people in the entry when I went in, it was just enough room for 3 of us to be there waiting, otherwise I would have waited outside, but we were processed rapidly and on our way. But lately the bakery has been suffering from 'shrink-flation'. The in-store baked cookies have shrunk in size and the package has shrunk as well. These are the hermit, chocolate chip, etc cookies. And the Black Forest cake no longer has the cherry center layer but the price is still $23! There is some cherry flavour, but definitely not a real Black Forest cake anymore and not worth the money. Do not reduce the quality of the baked goods, I'll pay more, but I want the same good bakery quality.

She was friendly and asked what the occasion was for the cake and we told her no occasion, as cake is good anytime :) The store is bright and newer, and although I sometimes have to look around to find things, I eventually do find them. I like the produce section, and the meat selection is good too. There wasn't a line up when I went to pay either which was nice to be able to get in and out quickly. In general, you've got to know your prices when shopping here because some things are 50% to even 100% higher in price than at Superstore or Costco. Save On has a great produce guarantee where if you don't live it or something is wrong with it, not only will they refund you but they will also send you home with a replacement. Another fave item here for our family are the chicken pot pies in the hot deli section - my 11 year old looooves them! As a mom of a young one with food allergies, I really love the free fruit option (basket in produce area) in lieu of a cookie for shopping trips.
