This store is the bane of my existence. For the life of me I can't figure out why a store would have their lunch meat on the polar opposite side of the store from where they have their cheese. Who does that? Is this someone's idea of a sick joke? My first experience in this store while searching for cheese was a lengthy experience and left me feeling dehydrated. Don't even get me started on how long it took me to find the sour cream (which lives by its lonesome on the end of an isle. Because that makes sense). The set up of this store just makes zero sense to me. It's so odd. The only reason I keep going back is because the parking lot isn't near the nightmare of the FM parking lot across the way. That place is a total life death trap! (I'm not exaggerating... drivers in TD are the worst and that parking lot is small. It's terrifying). Can we all just agree that Safeway self checks outs have really missed the mark? Having to scroll through 500 other items that start with L, M, N, O to select "onion" is enough to make me punch a puppy!! Just let us type the word on the screen already!!! FM lets me do that.... I'm used to being able to buy food at Safeway, even though I'm a health conscious vegetarian. I've repeatedly gone back to this store, and left empty handed. They don't even have a full table of organic produce. The food there is mostly unhealthy processed junk, surprisingly they don't even have non-dairy ice cream alternatives. read more

A worker by the name of Yolanda always has a really bad attitude towards those around here and I have had 3 occasions she has been very condescending and rude when i asked her to help with the selfcheckout scanners. Theres been other times where I buy some beer and she has seen me and my wife in there 20 thousand times yet even though I present my I'd she still asks my pregnant wife who never drinks anyways for her ID other workers have said she is over dramatic about the ID check and that she should know by now we are both in our 30s read more

Just like any other supermarket but what makes matters worse is the rude cashiers that are employed there, last year one accused me of being drunk and wouldn't sell me a bottle of wine but another customer who was a bartender spoke up for me and said I wasn't which was true and this year the day after Memorial day the staff was cut back with only one cashier and another manning the 4 self checkouts and the customer service area so after already waiting once I had to wait again cashing in some cans to buy some stamps but didn't get them either because more waiting, big attitude by that employee then I found a phone and called the number trying to locate the owner and the same bitch yelled at me about that, it was really none of her business and I could have kept the broken phone that was left in the bathroom instead of locating it's owner, worst service ever at a supermarket read more

There Deli section has a nice yummy selection. Shelves are always stocked. Employees are friendly and helpful. I don't care for the parking lot. You have to drive straight in and I prefer angle parking. read more

Great friendly staff, excellent under pressure!! Witnessed a very rude lady tonight that took a picture of employee Brandon K. because the line wasn't moving to the speed of her satisfaction and he remained extremely kind, calm, and respectful. He pleasantly told her to have good night as she was leaving, he was very professional and kind to the next customers as well. He worked quickly and efficiently throughout what must have been a horrible experience for him. Keep it up Safeway! read more

Sent my boy in to get breakfast, brought back hot burritos from the deli that were decent in size. Took one bite and they had put a sweet sauce instead of chipotle sauce on our breakfast burritos. When he went back they told him to tell us to man up and eat them anyways. Totally disrespectful, customer service is seriously lacking. Not the first time something so simple has turned into a complete failure. If they had been at least apologetic about the mistake it wouldn't have been such a big deal. read more

This review is from the point of view of an out-of town visitor looking for Deli food for a picnic: this Safeway was easy to find and once inside the store the deli was conveniently located. All the Salads looked fresh and we chose a blue cheese & bacon potato salad (more like a stuffed baked potato than traditional yellow potato salad). The crispy chicken strips looked tasty so we got those then headed to the bakery. Fresh baked cookies called out: chocolate chip, oatmeal cranberry, mini M&M, and white chocolate macadamia nut. Yes, yes & yes! $18 and enough to feed 4 people. We all loved the salad with loads of "goodies" blue cheese & bacon made it unusual and delightful (I'll be making this at home). The chicken breast strips were the real deal -crunchy goodness without being dry. Cookies were out of this world we split 'em up and tried them all. Next time your in the mood for a picnic in the gorge this Safeway deli will have your back. read more

I don't even know why I bother going in this store. It has never been a pleasant experience. Had to deal with the customer service desk tonight which tipped me over the edge. After waiting in line for quite a while the lady let some dude blatantly cut in front of me. Finally I was the only one there. Then they couldn't use the register I got to, had to override something and couldn't figure it out. Had to keep waiting. So by the time I finally get to ask for my money order I'm told by the lady I can only do $500 at a time, when everywhere else has a $1000 limit. Fine, I'll pay for two, then he enters the amounts incorrectly and the lady starts arguing with me about his mistske. Then I go to pay with my credit card which he is fine with and the lady is like oh no no no you can't use that. Why? It may be stolen. I offer ID or my debit card. No no no, it has to be cash. So I can buy groceries with my credit card or get cash back with my debit card here even without matching ID, but I can't get a money order with them when even the post office accepts these forms of payment and your computer and card reader is ok with taking them? I told her to F off. Even if these truly are your rules, you could have at least not helped cutters you were aware of first and have explained these rules without being a complete b**ch. It's called a customer service desk, not a center of frustrating bs and rude employees. I had a great day, until I dealt with you and I do not swear at people often, but I do not apologize for being an angry customer. read more
