Back in October my wife came down with Covid and we attempted to pick up a prescription and at that time found the whole store closed at 4:00. I don't know if this is a problem with this particular store or Walgreens in general but we are looking for a new pharmacy. This…read moreWalgreens is at the corner of Belleview and Broadway, across the street from Williams' jewelry store on the Broadway side, and then there's a Star bucks across the street on the belleview side...that star bucks used to be a mc donalds/ now it's just an empty-looking starbucks. There are Two ways to get in/out by car; Do Not try to exit Left onto Belleview I see people Attempting this and ...please just Do Not exit Left onto belleview from here; use the Other way to exit which is behind Walgreens on Broadway, and you can make a right on Broadway and then turn around if needed by using any of the multiple side streets as you head North on broadway. If you need to get headed the Other way on Broadway (South), then First turn Right out of the back of the store, Then make a left at any of the street lights, turn around, then you are headed South on broadway and you can make a right or left on Belleview if that's what you need to do. The Other Walgreens on Belleview (not as good at all and pretty sketchy IMO) is at the corner of Prince and Belleview, near Federal and a few dozen fast food restaurants. Do Not use That Pharmacy you have been Warned by Me about Not using that pharmacy; also, as I stated before it's a sketchier atmosphere in general and the staff seems anxious/on edge heck I would be too if I worked there at that one on the corner of Prince and Belleview. This Walgreens has friendly/helpful/calm people working there; I have been living a mile away for nearly 20 years so I think I'm kind of qualified to judge, since I've been in here probably no less than a hundred times over the last 20 years. They have a drive-through pharmacy which I have never used but it seems fairly busy . If you use that drive-through, what are you going to do to exit by car? Yes, you are going to go Right onto Belleview, OR you are going to go Right by exiting in the back onto Broadway. If you need to go LEFT/ East or South (left), you exit Right onto broadway, then make a left at any of the sidestreets off of belleview, turn around and there you go. You can also use the Walgreens App to get more discounts and you can use points on the app and they will usually deliver quickly like within an hour but don't try it after three or four PM / do that earlier in the day. I don't know about pharmacy delivery I've never used that feature but if I did I would put in my order EARLY as possible in the day; do not wait until it's a crisis or emergency and you'll probably be upset if they don't have it or you have to wait a while. The phamacist/staff have to call the MD office to verify details, especially with a new rx/and or/if it's a controlled substance. But it was the Holidays, so between more shopping and continuing supply chain issues, I couldn't do that. The five stars are for the employees. Every single one of them have been friendly and helpful. They keep busy with work that needs to be done in the store without neglecting the customers. I waited 30 more minutes before they told me my prescriptions were done. Then I waited 10 minutes while the person played around on the computer and tried to tell me I had entered the wrong phone number. I finally left with my prescriptions. It's time to find a new pharmacy and they can put this one on the closure list.
