(We are fully vaxxed up, Covid, flu, pneu.; Covid/flu test negative). MPH@WP open & available Sat. near noon. Walk-in lucky timing, get to see Dr. within 20min after competent front desk check in and after nurse takes vitals, asks the right questions retakes Covid test, & gets wife on oxygen awaiting the Doc. Doc Humpal sizes up (wife is one complicated unit, incidentally on oral chemo) orders x-ray. X-ray tech takes wife for few min, gets results (neg. for pneumonia) to Doc, who (IMHO, I'm an engineer) treats for asthma flare up. We are dispatched with a portable oxygen concentrator (which we will conveniently drop at MPH on our way to airport tomorrow.) Picked up meds @ Safeway pharmacy. Wife hugely better today after a rough week. I appreciate "full service".

Because of the pandemic, a major need for face masks surfaced. There haven't been enough of the n-95 masks for everyone, not even enough for the medical professionals and other front-line workers. Then people started sewing the cloth masks. I still personally couldn't find any available, but had a small supply of disposable masks my Doctor's office had given me in late February. But those are one-use masks and although I was only emerging from my home when absolutely necessary, they were running out. i heard about this store via a Louisville-oriented Facebook group I'm in. Someone was saying they had some cloth masks. So I went to that corner and drove among the businesses in the shopping area until i found this place. It's 2 doors to the left of the Nature Lab. indeed they have medical supplies of all varieties, and had a good selection of cloth masks in several sizes and colors. The white ones are $8 and the colored ones are $10. The people who work at the store and very knowledgable and helpful. They're out of hand sanitizer like everyone else but they are trying to get a shipment, by the way. I am happy to have one cloth face mask to wear and another to wear while washing it. I got a few for my daughter as well. As an older person, I was happy to see various items for people dealing with limited mobility and pain. The store is full of those types of items. They also have a large supply of compression socks.

There are no handicap spots to park in and the door is not automatic. They really need to hire more employees because both times I went in, I waited around for 5-10 minutes before someone acknowledged me and helped me. One employee was more concerned about helping the people calling on the phone than actually helping the customers standing in the store. When I picked up the equipment that I rented, the gentleman who helped me was very kind and made sure it was adjusted to my height. He even loaded it into my car for me. When I dropped it back off however, the woman who helped me took the equipment out of my trunk without even closing my trunk and left me standing outside on my crutches informing me I had to go back inside to sign off on the return. Again, an issue considering I was on crutches and they do not have automatic doors. The only reason I returned the equipment early is because I found a better scooter for free to complete my two months of non weight bearing. The equipment they provided was heavy and the breaks didn't work. It was a struggle to fold up and load into the car whenever I took it anywhere. The seat was stained and cracked. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I definitely won't be a repeat customer. The only positive I can say is that the store is clean and the staff is friendly once they decide to actually help you.

Prescribed me one medication and just recommended therapy. Had to call my physician in Texas to do everything I was trying to get done here. Hate having to fly out of the state in which I am living to get a real doctor's session.
