This Okotoks location always seems to have lots of good deals on as well, like today when we saved about $15 on our bill. It's a busy location and does have pretty narrow isles, but I like how they still bag your groceries for you and take it out to your car - which is great when you're dragging around 2 small kids who just got a sugar buzz off the free cookies from the Bakery dept. If there is something No Frills carries but does not have they will do all they can to get it. Maybe there is more Asian foods because the customers asked for it. It is sad that your first review was negative, I bet the guy that was complaining about Asian food never asked why or asked for the items he could not find. I only just moved to High River in October. No Frills has local business owners that I have no problem supporting. I have been to both Sobeys and Co-op neither have been as helpful. I'm really not someone who typically writes negative reviews, but the experience at this Starbucks…read morehas gotten to the point where I feel like something needs to be said. Almost every time I come in, there seems to be a completely new employee who is clearly still learning and doesn't seem to have the training or support they need. What's even more frustrating is that they are often left working on their own without a supervisor or experienced employee around to guide them. I genuinely feel bad for the employees because it seems like they're being put in a position where they're expected to figure things out themselves. Unfortunately, this has also had a major impact on the quality of the drinks. I have lost count of how many times I've paid Starbucks prices for a drink, brought it home, taken one sip, and ended up throwing it in the garbage because it was genuinely undrinkable. I completely understand that mistakes happen, especially with new employees, but when it happens repeatedly, it becomes incredibly frustrating. I'm not expecting perfection, and I have nothing against the individual employees. If anything, I think they deserve better training and support. The constant turnover, lack of supervision, and inconsistency in drink quality really need to be addressed. I've been a Starbucks customer for a long time, but I'm at the point where I hesitate to go to this location because I simply don't know if I'm going to leave with a drink I can actually enjoy. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously, because this location has gone downhill significantly and it's disappointing to see.

Their wine selection is extensive and divided into several large regions (U.S., Canada, Chile, France, etc.), their beer is also excellent (they have a wide selection of Alley Kat, my friend Andy's favorite), and the spirits are high (in number). Their pricing is also competitive and they often have a varied sale section: you can find bottles of Barefoot for 10 dollars, and a shared favorite (Apothic Red) is now on for $4 off, not too shabby. Their customer service is manic-depressive: I've been here with a could-care-less guy manning the tills, and I've also had a friendly girl who explained their troubles with stocking Cupcake's Red Velvet wine. I suppose it depends on the night you stop in. But if you are here to browse the shelves and try something new, or get a specific wine or beer that not every liquor store carries, this is a nice place to do so in the south.

That is a bit frustrating but other than that it is good. Plus when I do not pick my prescription up for a week they end up calling and saying "Your perscription has been sitting here for a week, do you still want it?" and that is how I am reminded to go get it so that helps! :)
