Only mainstream grocery store between Paso Robles and Soledad. Stop in quite often and find whatever I need. Quality is what you would expect from Safeway and Vons stores. The meat cutters are knowledgeable and ready to help. Make sure you bring bags in with you - King City passed a no bag law beginning 1/1/15. read more

Very rude cashiers some off them all female. Rude manager she has a light accent she's rude . There's always big lines . If u go dressed comfy like sweats sweater etc they look at u like ew the women that work there. I don't want to go here anymore for sure read more

This is not my first visit here but I must say that I have visited the deli department on several occasions for breakfast, lunch, or even on a rare occasion dinner. This Safeway might be smaller than some of the big city ones but don't underestimate then. Quality and cleanliness has always been good. Food always looks fresh and the staff has always been exceptional. read more

This store seems to practice a UN reasonable pricing practice. I purchased mustard potato salad $7.49 and a week ago it was $6.49. Their calling it a sale "NOT". They seem to keep changing the prices every other day and mostly up. I really want to buy in Saledad I'd drive 50 miles to get better buy for my bucks. Ask for a produce person so I could get information but was basically ignored 2 times. I think because I am a white person in a town that is mostly Hispanic what a shame because I am military out her training. I was just trying to get some fruits and vegetables spending money in your town but ended up its walking out because it seemed races. I all the employees in the back with meats and produce Friday Saturday morning should be fired unreliable is all I can say. read more

It's a clean store, but my family and I went there for the deli, for lunch. We aren't from around here so maybe things run slow, but they took about a twenty minutes to make two sandwiches, and she kept forgetting obvious things like sauce etc. She moved at snail pace and caused a huge line, even though there were three people working. They weren't even apologetic or nice about it. A lot of things were out of stock too... Weird experience. Update: tried to eat my deli tamales... completely frozen. Don't go here. read more

I ordered a cake for my sons confirmation last Thursday for Friday....it was the crapiest cake ever....I had told them what I wanted written on it nd when I picked it up it was plain nd very sloppy nd crappy looking....I was very unhappy with my sons cake!! One of the cashiers assistant helped me out nd wrote the message on the cake she did a better job of who ever made my cake....You need better service at the bakery!! To top it off when I was ordering my cake the girl kept messing with her nose when she wrote it down gross!!!! read more
