They try to carry necessities for the neighborhood and always have my husband's favorite apple juice, which he insists on only getting there. The restaurant is SOOO good! They have a changing array of dishes on their steam tray and you can get large and small bowls with rice, or combo plates with two items, rice, and phenomenal butter naan. They usually have 4-5 choices of meat dishes and 4-5 choices of veggie dishes. Today, I stopped by after work because it was too hot to cook and was craving a little spice. I had the chicken masala and okra and cauliflour. Delicious. The chicken was crazy tender and just the right amount of spice. It comes with some yogurt, tamarind sauce and green hot sauce, with a sprinkling of red onion and cilantro (or parsley?). I could not eat it all because it was a lot and rich, but I am very happy. My hubby got the lamb and the butter chicken. Again, the chicken was super tender and the lamb was from a local farm, Eastside ranch! Everything was wonderful. The samosas are super good, too. Prices are reasonable and the combo plate will absolutely fill you up.

Chicken in a spinach, curry sauce, with rice, red onion and cilantro. I also ordered naan bread on the side. The food came very quickly, and it was amazing! The spinach curry chicken was very good. It was rich, but not overly so. The red onion and cilantro added to the flavor. The chicken was delicious, and very tender. . I loved the spinach curry sauce, it had just enough of a "zip" that I noticed that it was there. Hardly spicy at all. The rice was wonderfully fluffy. The naan bread was very tender, and also had a little bit of a richness to it. The meal also came with three sauces. A yogurt sauce, a green sauce, and a tamarind sauce. The yogurt sauce, I put into the curry bowl, which just added to the flavor, the green sauce was a bit too spicy for me, so I left that one to the side, , and the tamarind sauce I used as a dip for the naan. I really loved the tamarind sauce. It was sweet, and just a little bit tangy. . Just right. Both sauces were extremely good. It was a very generous portion, enough that I had plenty left over for a very nice breakfast. It reheated very well in the microwave in the morning. It accepted $5 in quarters then stopped and continued to spit them out. I had to use my debit card which the machine took $10. So I paid $15 to (rinse) my car off because after all that there was no soap coming out. Tried to spot free rinse after just to find out that didn't work either. Not sure what was up yesterday but that was beyond ridiculous.
