I love shopping here. They make a bunch of delicious baked items including quiche. The staff is…read morefriendly and helpful. Great local produce and they carry a lot of brands that the Mendocino Coast Harvest Market doesn't have.

It sucks, but I just simply don't feel like coming back anymore. Every single time I come here they…read morehave no tofu options. They completely stopped making the tofu Asian salad and I haven't seen it for months, today I came and tried to get some of the tofu salad the curried kind, that they didn't have last week..and they still don't have it. every time I come here it seems like they're taking away more of the plant based options. There seems to be more of a pushed for the raw milk type variety of health, versus the natural or plant-based variety. It seems also that they don't have a lot of items...and when you ask them about it, they're more defensive than just being honest. The female cashiers are usually very nice, but it seems to be the people who work the juice/coffee bar that are not fully participating and are kind of rude and short with their responses and based on some of the other reviews, it seems that this is a shared feeling. Just so disappointing cause I've always loved the store and people I know work here locally but I just can't help but feel like the co-op in Ukiah is cheaper and has more options. it sucks because Mariposa had the best cold food selection of plant-based and regular options for food and now it's just not that anymore.

I was in a local motel, and didn't want to go out. I found this place on DoorDash. There was a…read morevery decent sized menu. I called ahead to ask if I could order my curry mild, and he said oh, they're not spicy. The guy on the phone was very nice. I ordered the spinach chicken. Chicken in a spinach, curry sauce, with rice, red onion and cilantro. I also ordered naan bread on the side. The food came very quickly, and it was amazing! The spinach curry chicken was very good. It was rich, but not overly so. The red onion and cilantro added to the flavor. The chicken was delicious, and very tender. . I loved the spinach curry sauce, it had just enough of a "zip" that I noticed that it was there. Hardly spicy at all. The rice was wonderfully fluffy. The naan bread was very tender, and also had a little bit of a richness to it. The meal also came with three sauces. A yogurt sauce, a green sauce, and a tamarind sauce. The yogurt sauce, I put into the curry bowl, which just added to the flavor, the green sauce was a bit too spicy for me, so I left that one to the side, , and the tamarind sauce I used as a dip for the naan. I really loved the tamarind sauce. It was sweet, and just a little bit tangy. . Just right. Both sauces were extremely good. It was a very generous portion, enough that I had plenty left over for a very nice breakfast. It reheated very well in the microwave in the morning. The price was very reasonable, especially with the fact that I got two meals out of it. I will remember this place. Thank you.

Both curries were incredibly flavorful and packed with chunks of tender meat. The chicken chili was slightly sweet (and not spicy at all, despite the name) and contrasted nicely with the lamb. The plate came with rice, yogurt, and naan, and was a generous portion, enough to be a light meal for two. Service was super friendly. We were offered samples of the various chicken curries as we tried to decide which one to get.

I drive by this little locally-owned market on my vending route and one day I had to see why there…read morewere so many cars and trucks parked in front of it. Inside there's a real, old-fashioned meat counter but they'll also make you one heck of a sandwich. The sandwiches are the subject of this review. Go up to the meat counter and there are slips of paper where you can specify what you'd like on your sandwich. You can detail out the meal right down to the kind of mustard you want on it, and the cheese, bread and meat selection are all terrific. There are certain days where there are hot barbecued pork sandwiches but there's something for everyone. The ladies behind the counter are always very friendly and these are the kind of sandwiches where you have to almost unhinge your jaw to get a good bite, and your mouth will thank you for the effort. The sandwiches are really, really good. Being a market, you can select all sorts of things to go with your sandwich from chips, nuts raw potatoes, etc. etc. Okay, maybe hold off on the raw potatoes but the variety of drinks and side snacks is just what you'd expect in a market. I don't understand why there's a line at any chain sandwich shop within 10 miles of this place as the friendly, English-speaking folks behind the counter make a sandwich that two normal people could easily share and be very satisfied. Even my healthy appetite is challenged by these meals on bread, not like the breadwiches those lousy chains make. The meat here looks good and, again, it's a full little market so they have all sorts of things but the sandwiches are my favorite and make me happy that it's vending machine fillin' day.

I had went in there and saw a cockroach on the floor running, and they messed up on my sandwich.read more

All kinds of great gifts, deli food, candy, bakery, produce, wine, liquor, fresh food in the deli, gifts, plants, home necessities, and the usual stuff found at grocery stores. I went in specifically to find Carol Hall's Kitchen's jalapeño jam. I bought one of those, a jalapeño berry mix and a blackberry jam. A friend swears by this brand. I also found some paper free, bamboo tissue. Easy to find employees, one didn't know where the items I needed were located. Another woman knew and told me which isles. The one unfamiliar with the store, at least the Irene I needed, came and found me to direct me to the right spot. I appreciate that. Checker rang up my items, the bagger banged them. Neither said much to me. The checker told me my total and the bagger asked if I wanted a bag. Customer service could be a bit more upbeat, eg, "hi, did you find what you needed, how's your day, thanks for coming in.
