On the day of the class, we met in an auditorium with about 16 others; most of whom are new parents/parents-to-be like us. Anna had infant and child size dolls for us to practice on and she stressed the importance of muscle memory. We started with handling choking scenarios and then moved onto the CPR. Everyone had plenty of opportunities to practice and ask questions. I hope that we will never have to use the skills we learned in Anna's class but at the very least, it makes us feel more comfortable knowing what to do in case our baby needs us.

I even got my eCard on the same-day. While they teach elsewhere in the Bay Area, they also teach out of their beautiful home in Alameda, which was where I got my nearly one-on-one session. Carol was super accommodating, warm, and thorough throughout the course. She integrated personal stories of real-life scenarios to get your head in the game. We were able to practice on manequins (adult and infant), use a trainer AED, and even a choking bag to practice the heimlich maneuver. I feel prepared and assured that I have gained the knowledge I needed to pass the course and support someone in a crisis. Will definitely return to renew my license with Carol and David.

Well, I should have known it was off because I ended up in a dead end near old warehouses and what seemed like a junk yard. I tried looking up the address again to map myself and it still lead me to the same junk yard area. It was not until I typed in "Safety Training Seminars" in google maps that it lead me somewhere else. It was 15 minutes from where I was at the time. I ended up arriving about 20 minutes late because of this address issues... The good thing is, I had my BLS and PALS back to back so it helped relax my mind about the time frame that I had. Upon arriving, it was easier to find most of the doors you can see from the parking lot. I opened the door and there you see, 2 stations right when you walk in and another station behind this small door. Overall, the place was quite small, though clean. I'd come back again when I have to renew my certs again. But definitely be mindful of the address when trying to find the place!

The teacher Ron is easy to talk to and he really cares that you understand what he is teaching. He teaches you the main things you need to know and he's not boring. Thankfully I only paid for 1 year of CEU's and I have only been able to complete 1 course and I've spent the past 4 days trying to log in and complete other CEU's, which I have not been successfully able to do so. I'm hoping to get a refund because I am not able to use the website. It's been a terrible experience the little time I've been able to use it!
