Being fairly new, the facilities are very clean and bright, well equipped with spacious storage and changing rooms, with very friendly staff. Hours are very good so you should be able to find a time that works for you. There's even a small kids play area for those with antsy little ones. Price seems to be a bit higher than a few other places, but not surprising considering how new and clean it is here. But good overall.

I was paired with a great instructor (Haighley) and my son has been with her consistently for a few weeks. My son was always fearful of water and would cry before getting in any pool. My son now looks forward to swim class. I couldn't get him in a pool before and now I have a hard time getting him out lol. He's very shy but I was surprised to see him talk and joke around with her so quickly. She is great with children (my son is 3). They recently celebrated a year of being open and I've noticed a difference in consistency with instructors throughout. The facility does well at maintaining cleanliness throughout. Nina and Ken are very responsible managers and they hire their swim team students as instructors -- I find it is easier to build relationships and trust when older youngsters mentor younger kids. Forget the YMCA or the overhyped "learn to swim" programs that cost twice as much. This is a great deal! Swimming is a life skill. I for one feel obligated to facilitate that learning experience for our boys. So far, so good.

The issues began when all of the senior swim instructors at our location quit. Since then, my son has been placed with instructors who clearly lack the proper training or experience--especially in working with toddlers. Initially, we were asked to continue lessons at a Hampton Inn pool, which was both under construction and in unsanitary condition. Despite that, I continued the lessons. My son was then assigned to an instructor with no toddler experience. After raising my concerns, I was promised he would be paired with a more experienced instructor moving forward. Later, I was told my son would be paired with ****, the manager and lead swim trainer. However, when we arrived, my son was pushed aside to accommodate a new client's child and was instead handed off to a novice instructor who arrived 15 minutes late. That session involved no structured lesson--just my son being aimlessly tossed around in the water, without any of the promised instruction or protocol. At the very next session, my son was already in the water when I was told he wasn't even on the schedule. Once again, he was assigned to a random, inexperienced instructor--despite prior assurances of consistent, qualified instruction. Throughout this entire period, British Swim School has continued to collect payments, offers no refunds, and has not taken any meaningful action to resolve the issue. My son has been continually dismissed and underserved, and I've paid for services we clearly have not received. This feels like a complete breach of trust and, at this point, borders on fraud.

In this location they did not have the children engaged in the activities and were not paying attention to them. We paid a lot of money for the camp but it did not meet our expectations. If you are looking forward to having your child have a good time during camp do not enroll them at this location. They reached out to the parents and said that out of 20 kids, there was a group of 10 kids who not engaged or paying attention. I believe if 50% of the children are not engaged, they need to change the activities to make them more interesting to the children.

He asked me for ID which I showed him, then he started to say oh didn't you come in here a year ago etc, so I said yes I did. He then tells me "oh your ID says retired you can join at the full rate" and "I told you last time that im not giving you the discount we offer ...(that's not true at all ), What he said was that it was NO ISSUE".. He started to examine my ID, hold it up to the light literally about 5 different times ,,,Not sure what that was about...I said Frank, " WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY ID- YOURE EXAMINING IT LIKE ITS A FAKE $100 BILL OR SOMETHING, I said is there an issue?????..and he says " OH NOTHING I WAS JUST LOOKING AT IT.
