In June 2022 last month the pool at the location my son was going through had been closed. On the 21st I received an email from the regional manager saying that no families who are attending swim classes at this pool should be charge the tuition for July (being that we paid June tuition already and the pool had been closed three out of four weeks in June) However on the 25th I still received a a bill. When I called on the 25th the woman that I spoke to was unaware of this email and so was her manager. Still I was reassured that that bill would be refunded. Also the regional manager in that email asked if anybody would like to attend classes at the Paramus location due to the fact that the Lodi location was closed. I emailed back and no response. So now I call again and have been told that there was another email sent out saying that it was a miscommunication that nobody would be billed. So I canceled the membership for August and asked for a confirmation email since I could not log into my account as they were doing some kind of maintenance on the website. The person I was on the phone with was telling me it was fine on his end so it must be on my end while I'm literally looking at a screen saying that The customer portal was unavailable and to try back another time. There was no confirmation email sent there was no email sent for the conversation before that therefore every time I called and spoke to anybody I got no resolve to my problems, I was still billed and still getting emails from managers basically saying whatever they wanted and it's horrible customer service. If there are any discrepancies you will not get help solidifying what should be done moving forward. Every time I called I was told what would happen in the future and nothing happened.

I had to keep calling and following up just to get basic information. Because of the lack of timely communication, I missed my opportunity to enroll. On top of that, management was not flexible or understanding about the situation, even though the delay was on their end. Very frustrating experience--I hope they improve their customer service and responsiveness. The swim instructors are pleasant and were very good.

Loved this swim school for my 3y old…read more He naturally likes swimming but Daniella made it even more pleasant by being so sweet and caring. She is a star! Clean pool, clean showers. Kids do like it there and parents too. We were there on Sundays. A little tough during the lunch time since the kid wanted to have his nap, but after 30 min of swimming we would take him straight home for a nice 3hour nap.

They treat the kids that come here well and they seem to look out for them -so for those reasons I think it's a great place. Reasonable monthly fees and a variety of classes are a bonus. Fitness center is average but clean with decent machines. You can get a good workout here, take a swim, and play ball here without breaking the bank. They provide clean towels as well. In this location they did not have the children engaged in the activities and were not paying attention to them. We paid a lot of money for the camp but it did not meet our expectations. If you are looking forward to having your child have a good time during camp do not enroll them at this location. They reached out to the parents and said that out of 20 kids, there was a group of 10 kids who not engaged or paying attention. I believe if 50% of the children are not engaged, they need to change the activities to make them more interesting to the children.

They have various membership options and also allow drop ins for $10 a day per adult. There are locker rooms and a family changing room. There are bleachers and chairs for observers and a cute outdoor pool deck area when it's warm. The staff has always been polite when we go and are willing to answer questions about lessons and other things. There are weekend events such as family swim party and BBQs. Overall a nice place to go and swim for a bit without a huge cost to be a guest.

The issues began when all of the senior swim instructors at our location quit. Since then, my son has been placed with instructors who clearly lack the proper training or experience--especially in working with toddlers. Initially, we were asked to continue lessons at a Hampton Inn pool, which was both under construction and in unsanitary condition. Despite that, I continued the lessons. My son was then assigned to an instructor with no toddler experience. After raising my concerns, I was promised he would be paired with a more experienced instructor moving forward. Later, I was told my son would be paired with ****, the manager and lead swim trainer. However, when we arrived, my son was pushed aside to accommodate a new client's child and was instead handed off to a novice instructor who arrived 15 minutes late. That session involved no structured lesson--just my son being aimlessly tossed around in the water, without any of the promised instruction or protocol. At the very next session, my son was already in the water when I was told he wasn't even on the schedule. Once again, he was assigned to a random, inexperienced instructor--despite prior assurances of consistent, qualified instruction. Throughout this entire period, British Swim School has continued to collect payments, offers no refunds, and has not taken any meaningful action to resolve the issue. My son has been continually dismissed and underserved, and I've paid for services we clearly have not received. This feels like a complete breach of trust and, at this point, borders on fraud.

She loved her first swim lesson, and we decided to enroll in a weekly class. The swimming experience has been great so far. She learned a lot of skills within a month and already moved on to Glider 2. The facility itself is amazing. Lots of parking spots outside. Inside the building it's kept warm and humid. They have lots of changing rooms, restrooms and a hair drying station with 6 dryers. The huge pool has several lanes and a separate section for family swimming. Every half an hour they operation multiple classes for different levels, while multiple supervisors and lifeguards monitor each swimmer. After each lesson, they also provide rating on the performance of the swimmer. The app also makes it easy to manage class enrollment, transfers and putting in absent notice. They also offer discounts rates as promotions sometimes, like in October second class enrollment had 35% off. The staff members at the desk are super helpful and always try to give the guests the best service. No surprise that they continue to be so popular for kids' swimming classes.
