I used to safe ride and I am here to warn everyone not to. I was on a tight schedule with a large group, and our driver never returned to pick us up. My purpose for using a driver instead of an Uber was because we were going to a lake where it would be hard to get a rideshare service and we didn't want to be stranded. Little did we know, our driver would show up two hours late. Not to mention, it was 117° as we were waiting on the curbside for him. Our ETA is for a driver continued to change. The AC in the back of the van was blowing hot air. When I brought all of these things to the attention of the staff, and demanded a refund, I was told we were lying about the air conditioning and that I was going to be sued for extortion if I left a bad review. Many issues 1. We live in a gated community. I gave clear instructions regarding how to get into the community. The driver obviously was not given this information. He called and explained he was at an unmanned gate. I gave him the proper location and he arrived about ten minutes later - not wearing a max. 2. Weeks before our flights the airline changed the times. I immediately let the company know about the change and got a confirmation from them. On our return flight the driver told us he never received this information and had been waiting for more than a hour- in the wrong place. We managed to communicate with the driver and he at last arrived, more than a 1/2 hour later. 3. On both trips the cars were dirty - not at all well cared for. 4. On our second trip, one of the rear seat belts was not functional. read more

Safe Rides - A Perfect Experience from Start to Finish My daughter was finally going have her Bat Mitzvah (18 month delay due to Covid). After the service, I needed to find a way to transport my daughter and her nine friends to the reception. I considered UBER but I would have had to reserve three UBER SUVs for a short trip on a Saturday night. After speaking to some friends and trying to contact someone at UBER (which is not possible), I realized that UBER would not be a reliable option. After doing much Googling and carefully examining the reviews, I chose Safe Rides (saferides.org). I was able to speak to one of the founders, Moe, and he was amazing. He was professional, helpful, reassuring, knowledgeable, and so patient. Moe answered my many questions and alleviated my many concerns. He told me that everything would go seamlessly. He even gave me his cell number, the limousine company owner's cell phone and the driver's cell number. When we initially spoke, he asked pertinent questions and did not oversell me. Also, his price was lower than any other. The Mercedes Sprinter Van (as promised, Black , spotless, and elegant) arrived at the temple to pick up the ten girls. When they came out of the Temple and saw the Mercedes Sprinter Van, I heard, the following, "Oh my G-d" and they were gleeful. The driver allowed my photographer to take pictures of the girls in front of the Mercedes Sprinter Van as well as inside the vehicle. My daughter said, she only had one re3gret, that the ride over from the Temple to the Reception was longer as she and her friends wee having a blast on the Mercedes Van. Later that evening, there were tears of joy in my daughter's eyes, as she thanked me for everything but made sure to emphasize the Mercedes Sprinter Van from Safe Rides. Thank you so much Moe and I can say, thanks to you and Safe Rides, the best choice I have made in a very long time and if I have the opportunity to use Safe Rides in the future, there will be no hesitation and no one else should hesitate either (again, I did A LOT of research and I asked A LOT of questions). Saferides was great! They picked us up on time before and after the event! Driver was good and van was clean! 5* will book again!!

We had a party of at least 35 with very young kids and old adults as old as 82. It was one of the hottest day and the Air conditioner was not working very well. It was so hot in the bus ! We kept telling the driver to please make it colder, but he was very unsuccessful! In addition, they need to fix the suspension in that shuttle. It was a horrible commute and couldn't even get comfortable due to too much bouncing and whiplash! We had a nice driver, but he was no help. read more

My husband used their services today. Website clearly stated that the tip and tolls were included in the quote. Driver insisted that the tips and tolls were not included. After some "discussion" driver conceded that the tips were included, but insisted on asking for the tolls on top of the agreed upon price. Extortion! When we tried to contact the organization and the person who emailed my husband the reservation confirmation, we were told to go to the car service company directly - basically given the run around. It's a shame because otherwise we might have used them again - but if we're going to be extorted for more funds, no thank you! read more
