There is nothing on their website that states an extra fee may apply, and no definition of what large or heavy mean. We each had one suitcase, normal size for checked baggage. In fact, we used their car service in the past with the same luggage and there were no issues or extra fees. When we had checked in before our flight both suitcases weighed about 40 lbs, well below the weight limit for checked luggage. Due to the lack of customer service and surprise fees based on no legitimate evidence, we won't be using this car service again.

I finally said whatever - and then he said "that doesn't include tip." OH? I threw a few bucks down in cash and left without saying anything. 10. Went thorough security, livid. Called the company, they were nice. Took a very detailed complaint and said the manager would call me back, he wasn't in yet. I'm out of the country right now (vacation in the DR) but I hope, for their sake, I have a voicemail and direct contact information for the manager on my phone right now. 11. They must have then called the driver to tell him I lodged a complaint --- because then he called me. On my cell. From his cell. To yell at me. And say he was not texting. To say he drove fine. To say I was rude. To say he left us alone the whole ride. Let me repeat - the driver called me. To bitch. At me. Don't call me - that's your manager's job. This is the definition of unprofessional. This is a service business. Your job is very literally to drive me to a place. Safely. Not like we are racing. Don't play with the traffic. Quit swerving around. I paid for a relaxing ride to JFK, not a race in a death trap. 12. I called the company back again and told them the driver called me. I want a full refund. This was a nightmare. Judging by the generally positive reviews, I'm sure there are better drivers. But at the moment - under no circumstances do I recommend this place.
