I would not recommend you spend your money with this business when there are many other choices. TERRIBLE customer service all the way around. Quoted 8-12pm for someone to come out for a windshield repair, almost 2pm and no one has arrived. No updates from the technician or company. We called customer support and after a 22 minute hold the best they had was "sorry we can't reach the shop or the technician so I guess we can send an email." Not to mention when first calling the representative states "yeah I guess that's the theme today no one is showing up for appointments." Extremely unprofessional. How are you unable to reach a single person within the organization? Reviews are important and I see why they only get 2 stars. Unfortunately I was not the one to book the appointment. Sentimental Restoration project finally getting a new windshield. Well that was an absolute mistake. Window looks off center, gasket is all over the place and raised in spots so it doesn't sit flush on the body, visible chipping around the gasket and the cherry on top is the massive amount of sealant the now attaches the top of my dash to the windshield and how sloppy in general the sealant can be easily seen. I can't believe someone even walked away and called it good. I have no faith they can actually fix this after seeing this work done and damages already done. 10/10 would not recommend using them. Go somewhere where they take more pride in their work. read more

Safelite has damaged my vehicle. They don't want to fix it in accordance with the manufacturer recommendations. They are pushing a cheap weld job. One of the several shops I took it to said: "WOW this has to be the worst windshield removal I have ever seen, and the attempted cover-up "repair" started to strip the metal along the severed area shows their intention was to attempt to weld this back together, and then I'm sure someone smart enough got wind and hit the brakes on that dumbass idea..." No one I've visited has been willing to repair it due the severity of the damage they caused. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

I was there today to get a price on a window rock chip. This receptionist very direct doesn't even greet you quotes me 140.00 with wiper blades. I told her I don't need wiper blades. So now the price is 175.00 since I don't want wiper blades. What a joke. I don't know what the push for wiper blades is but discount also tries to push wiper blades. Easy to book online. I found it easy to adjust the appointment too as weather was making my first selection difficult to keep. They have an ample waiting area with a coffee machine and TV. There is somebody to greet you when you come and the people who do the work on your vehicle are friendly and professional. They do quick work but not rushed work. I had my windshield replaced and they told me they were gonna transfer my front stickers, easy tag state inspector sticker to my New windshield and they did not when I called. They said the tech said he had transferred them calling me a liar. Window replacement was requested. The receptionist was not receptive, not helpful, not considerate. The charges were two times more for a reschedule because they got a glass after two days that was damaged. While the technician was very considerate, the manager, who was supposed to reach to me never did. All in all, this establishment has become poor since the last time that I used it. I got a reply from the business end but even after calling twice to the phone number of the establishment where I was trying to get the glass replaced, no replies. No follow up. Even here, I am expected to reach out to them. Here are the complete details that have reduced the value of this establishment for me forever! 1) Pick out any Safelite branch and no reviews are above 3. 2) Three years back, I got a really good service and so I went back for repeat business. 3) After having shattered window glass on me and driving for 20 minutes to get to the establishment, I am admonished for not making the appointment online and told very curtly that I should not expect any walk-in to be entertained. 4) I maintain my professional nature and ask for the next available appointment. Given one for two days later - no temporary fix for my window that leaves my vehicle vulnerable and therefore preventing me from conveyance to work. 5) Two days later, after 30 minutes delay, the technician tells me the glass is scratched and I need to reschedule - offers to put plastic cover to prevent heat and wind onslaught. Does not expect it to take a day or more. I relent. He says that the receptionist will get back and let me know of the appointment 6) Two hours later I get a call as to why I did not get the repair done. I explain. She says she will call in 10 minutes. Does so and says that I am looking at 15 days out an appointment or I can get the scratched glass at discounted price. 7) I ask whether they can put the scratched glass so that I can go to work and replace it for the appointment in 14 days. She says she will leave a note for the manager and he will call back the following day. 8) My initial quote for a driver's side window was $437. After this request, it was $850!!!!!!!!!!! 9) and of course, no call back the following day or response to my calls!!! 10) I decided to call it quits with Safelite. read more

I don't live in Texas I was here for a month visiting my Son and his family. Before I arrived in Texas my rear driver side and rear slider were broken. When I arrived for my appointment there was much hullabaloo and then they discovered they only had the driver side rear window...I stated it was no big deal these things happen and can we order the correct parts. That's when they stated to try and blame me. But, I need new windows so I rescheduled for 2 weeks later and they claimed to have ordered the correct part. I arrive for my second appointment...they can't find me. After 5 minutes they claimed it was canceled and they tried to call me. I received NO calls, texts or emails from them. I ask if they can do it anyways...I need to get on the road tomorrow. With much attitude and derision I was told it would be 4-6 weeks before the parts arrived. I have used SafeLite before and had mo issues. This store has no idea what customer service is...if this is the only SafeLite you can use to get your windows replaced you still need to go somewhere else...because, because they won't fix your windows and they will blame you for not being able to do so. read more

They were fast at getting me in and sealing the chip in my windshield that's the good however the careless tech while backing out of the garage broke my driverside mirror off my truck. The manager and the tech hurried to try and put it back together thinking it just snapped back on however it it definitely not right. They agreed to pay for the replacement of my mirror. I completed a drop off appointment for a OEM replacement windshield. Upon picking my car up 8 hours later. The manager Josh informed me that my had to jump started the battery because it was dead after replacing the windshield. Needles to say I was perplexed by Josh's comment since my Lexus car is 2 years old, recently dealer serviced, with no prior battery issues (that is until Safelite had my car in their possession). Upon entering my vehicle I immediately noticed the replacement windshield was not in fact an OEM windshield, but an aftermarket windshield. I immediately advised Josh the manager of their mistake and he offered to replace the windshield the following week with the correct OEM part. Meanwhile my Lexis battery is completely shot leaving me with a vehicle that will not start without a battery jump. And after immediately reporting the issue to Josh he stated my battery wasn't their problem (even though they experienced no issue with starting my car upon receipt) it was my problem. And he was not going to replace my car battery. I am now submitting a formal complaint to my Insurance company and Safelite Director Brandon Moore awaiting a resolution regarding my experience thus far with Safelite. read more

Jeff was the technician, called in the morning of the appointment, to let us know when they would be arriving, so we had a window to wait for them instead of having to wait all day. Using the online service was easy to schedule the appointment--you get a choice of days but not a choice of time. That's left to the technician the morning of the appointment, so you do have to plan to have the vehicle available all day until you hear otherwise. Jeff was personable and very professional, wearing a mask and giving us the opportunity to mask up before we answered the door (He called when he arrived). It took less than 30 or so minutes to replace the windshield on a RAV4, Toyota vehicle in our front yard driveway. We were able to pay online before Jeff arrived, but they also take payments on site after the work is done. It was professionally installed in a record time and by a professional technician--would definitely use again if we needed the service again. read more

Great service, only took a little over two hours to change my windshield. Jeremy, the technician, was great and very helpful. He put my new windshield wipers for free, even though I didn't buy them from Safelite. He even tried to put my toll sticker back on. The people in the office were friendly, but I thought it was strange that they offered an Uber to everyone that came in except me, even though I sat there for over two hours. The regulator in rear SUV broke and I couldn't keep my window closed. They told me which part I needed to buy and scheduled me an appointment. They also installed a temporary wedge so my window would stay closed. They replaced the regulator two days later as scheduled. read more

This location sucks. We ordered OEM windshield and they first came with an after market windshield so couldn't replace the windshield. We had to wait again for a new windshield after we had already waited 2 weeks so now we are at over 3 weeks to get the right one. Had an appointment window between 8-12. Waited all morning for them. Called at 1215 to see if they had an ETA on when they would get to my home and now I'm the last appointment of the day. They say they called but there's no missed calls. Never even attempted to knock on the door and I've been home ALL MORNING LONG waiting for them. No explanation. No respect for others time on the only day they have off a week. They come the next day and I have to call my job to tell them I'm going to be late because they couldn't respect appointment times. Drive the car a few days later and the windshield wipers just go randomly so the calibration is obviously wrong. Can't get the manager to call us back about getting that fixed. read more

Had windows replaced under insurance claim. Upon arrival to pick up my car I noticed a deep scratch in the newly installed glass I brought it to the assistant managers attention, and they had to schedule me for a new appointment a week later to again replace the window, I showed up on at 845 on 29 June 2024 for my 9am appointment. The assistant manager had already said they would do a brow tint on them for the inconvenience. When i showed up on Saturday morning for my appointment the woman working at the dest told me they don't have any tint and won't be doing the brow as it's not in the notes or on the appointment. After my car being there an hour the tech texted me and made me aware that the glass they had to replace my window also had a large scratch. When I called I asked to speak with a manager about these ongoing issues and was told they are not available and they would not be getting me another window in. So a 45 minute job is now becoming a multiple week issue read more

Had my windshield replaced on Thur. I drove my car on Sat for the first time after having my windshield replaced. Turned on my wipers and immediately, they broke. Went to Safelite on Mon to see if they would replace my wipers. Agent said no, it was Wear and Tear and they were not responsible. I took my car to the Mercedes dealer to get the wipers repaired and they told me that the wipers had been removed and not reinstalled properly and that is the reason they broke. I had to pay $59.00 for new wipers. Went back to Safelite to inform them and they just looked at me and said it is out of our hands but will send the complaint forward. This particular repair site will not accept any responsibility for damages. This business was referred to me by the insurance company. Try another place. The front desk lady was very nice but she was just front desk. read more

Seriously though, as always it was too much to repair, the cracks continued to spider and cause difficulties in my view driving, especially at night. These guys rock!!!! Let me just start off by saying that I have used Safelite in the past (in Austin) and had an awesome experience. My car was broken into and the insurance "preferred dealer" was Safelite. I figured my experience would be stellar since I've used them before in the past to replace my windshield. Back in September 2019, the rear quarter panel of my car was broken into a few days before I was traveling out of the country. I wanted to try to get it fixed asap so I went through Geico to do the scheduling. I was able to schedule through the app. The next day, I received an email stating that the appointment was cancelled and I would need to reschedule because they didn't have the part. I then rescheduled online through Safelite for the following day. I get a call from the receptionist stating that I'm going to have to reschedule again. She told me that they didn't have a technician to come out to my place to replace the part because they were overbooked. Since this was the day before my trip, I had to reschedule a couple of weeks out. My new appointment was set for Sept 25. I get a call the day before from Safelite saying they have to cancel again because the part came in damaged. By this point, I'm just pissed. It had been raining nonstop because of Tropical Storm Imelda. I had the hole taped up, but duct tape doesn't hold for weeks on end, especially when it has been raining nonstop. I ended up having to call back to reschedule because I hadn't heard from anyone and was told that the part had finally come in. I asked the woman about the damaged part and she said she didn't know if it was my order or someone else's. She basically gave me the run around as to why it was taking a long time to get the part. By this point my patience was pretty much gone. On my 4th attempt to reschedule, the lady was able to squeeze me in on a day of my choice. She had the manager override the system so that it would let her schedule me on my preferred day. I told them I would just come in because I didn't want to risk having a tech come out and then at the last minute cancel. It only took 45 minutes for the glass to be replaced. I waited nearly a month for glass replacement that only took 45 minutes. And because I had duct tape on the car for a month, the residue was stuck on the paint. The tech said to use warm water with dish soap, but I ended up using Goo Gone. Thank God it worked. The tech got most of the glass pieces out (I have tempered glass so it shattered into a thousand tiny pieces), but I did find little shards of it in my trunk for about a week after. He did a good job with the installation, but I'm a service person. I don't care how good the work is. If the customer service sucks (which it obviously did), I will not return. Getting the run around for weeks on end with no clear reason for the delays is not okay. Being told in a condescending way that I need to schedule at least two weeks out because they're always so busy really sucks. It's not like I asked for my car to get broken into. I hope I don't ever have to have glass replaced, but if I do, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Made an appointment to which I arrived early for, (after their many messages to be on time) They told me it would take at least 2 1/2 hrs because the windshield had to be calibrated. I came back 2 hrs and 40 mins later and was told it'd be another 30 mins or so which I did not have. I told the lady I was told 2 1/2 hrs and had a hearing I had to be at. She just talking very loudly over me saying "no one told you and hour and a half!" I said "I was told two and a half hrs and it's been two hours and and forty mins and I have a hearing I need to attend. She said very loudly, "Don't even start with me!" and walked out of the room Seriously?? Who's the customer here ? I had to wait outside in the heat so I could call into the hearing and she kept coming outside trying to interrupt and give me paperwork. I kept holding up my hand signaling her to go back inside and she stands there staring for several mins. This was so inappropriate I can't even believe she was trying to be that overbearing and rude to me. I never raised my voice and I was not rude. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! read more

I scheduled a mobile appointment for my car to get my windshield replaced on Wednesday, Aug. 25th. The only appointments available were 8am - 5pm. So I had to take off a full day of work. Luckily, I'm able to work from home. However, the tech called me Wednesday morning informing me that his ETA was 1pm-4pm. Awesome. Could've been in office for half the day but it's okay. 3:45pm rolls around and I call safelite to find out where the technician is. The customer representative tells me he's finishing a job. He then calls me and says he'll be there in 40-50 mins - meaning 5pm. He showed up at 5:30pm. He started to assess the car and realized that the weatherstripping was the thicker kind that he did not have and was "discontinued". After waiting all day and out of necessity to have a car to drive, I said yes to replacing the windshield with the thinner weatherstripping. After the job was complete, he proceeded to tell me that he didn't have the tool to re-attach my rearview mirror and that I'd need to go into the shop to get that re-attached - which totally defeats the purpose of a MOBILE SERVICE. I go to safelite the next day to get my mirror re-attached and inquire about the weatherstripping. The associate told me to go find it on ebay or online and they could replace it for me free of charge. I found the weatherstripping online and ordered it. Finally arrived and I arrived at safelite on Friday, Sept 10th at 8am to have this installed. After explaining for the nth time the issue and background of this AND them looking up my account, they finally agree to install the weatherstripping at no charge. I had to call for a status update at around 2:30pm and they said it would be ready at 4pm. When I arrived at safelite, the car was ready but without the rearview mirror AGAIN. They said the previous installer tightened the screw too tight and they stripped the screw. Which is interesting because they re-installed that last. The associate told me that there was nothing they could do and it would need to wait until Monday. When I asked if I was expected to drive the next few days without a rearview mirror in a car with low visibility, the associate said YES. This is very dangerous. And he did not care to entertain my concern or my safety. I am requesting a FULL REFUND of my service with no exceptions. I am done with this. I called today to get an ETA on someone fixing my mirror today and NOTHING. I always call and no one calls me. Where is the customer service? I am appalled at this whole experience and am so disappointed. read more

Update-it's been over a month and no one from Safelite has tried to call and resolve the damage they did to my vehicle. I just got my vehicle back from BMW. $6k later, a rental car, inconvenience, and not to mention a claim on my insurance and still don't have a windshield. They broken my entire camera system. Safelite took no responsibility or even offered so much of an apology. All I got from this horrible company was an auto reply on Yelp. My next step is filing a law suit. read more

Do not trust them! I was charged OEM Prices for after market glass. They also cut my weatherstripping while replacing my windshield and failed to tell me that. The guys are polite but the business is just straight up unethical. They did this on two separate repairs. Lesson learned, will not be using safelight again. read more

This is NOT a dig on the Safelite AutoGlass crew in any way, whatsoever. The error of bringing the wrong glass to replace mine was because of the websites inability to specify what my vehicle has, or don't have. Or: Rain sensor.
