Terrible service. They stood at the door 30 mins to close and said, through the door, were closed. Meanwhile I'm standing a foot away from the sign that says they were open for another 30 minutes. Terrible. Already had an awful experience getting a small chip filled with my other car at Grease Monkey. They at least were willing to try and make it right. Since this is what Safelite specialized in expected a much better experience. Once again a simple little chip was spread across my entire windshield. Don't get me wrong I know there is a risk, but 2 minutes in I am told I got a huge crack and then told I could get a whole windshield replaced. Honestly, it felt like they sabatoged the windshield in order to have me get the whole thing replaced. Never once offered anything to make it right. Terrible and not worth it. Poor, the chip was still very visible after repair then when I paid with a credit card, they didn't authorize it and it fell off my account. So, they began harassing me for payment. Then overcharged me $10 more for their f**kup. Real nasty company don't use them!!!! read more

This branch didn't seal my windshield, causing leaks and destroying the electrical system in my car when storm season started. My headlights shut off while driving home in the dark. There is now a soaked puddle in my car, which has been locked with windows up for two weeks. I cannot drive the car for another week until Jeep can fix it. Meanwhile, they don't answer their phone. What kind of company doesn't answer their phone? Would not recommend! read more

This review is strictly based on customer service. As far as I can tell, they did a fine job on the one car windshield they managed to fit in their schedule. We brought them two vehicles in one day, $1,000 of business, with insurance. Actually, more like $4,000 with our claim. After dropping off the first car, we went to grab a bite to eat, and it took a while. We called and said we were running a bit late with the second vehicle. The front desk person said we would be fine until 2:45 for our 2:30 appointment. We arrived at 2:48, and he refused us service of the second vehicle. There was never any mention of this even being a possibility in any of our previous discussions about scheduling. We had casually arrived with the second vehicle, thinking they were going in one after the other, and our other car wasn't ready yet, so we obviously had time. Canyon at the front desk, who admitted he was a technician running the desk because they sent someone home because they were slow on business, was staggeringly unhelpful, and was also smelly and unkempt in appearance, which I would never put in a review if he weren't so incompetent and smug about it. I explained that we were driving back to Texas to turn the car in for a lease expiration the next day, and these were dire circumstances. He's obviously on a sad, small man power trip, as he outright refused to just get the car in and get it taken care of. As a person who has made their livelihood on customer service and satisfaction, this is unconscionable. I understand that timeliness in the service industry is important, but give me a break. Any business that would stand on a platform of "three minutes late means no service" is not a business that deserves my money, or anyone else's. They totally screwed us over and seemed proud of it. If Safelite is your insurance company's "preferred provider", definitely use a different location. This place obviously won't value you as a customer. read more

I scheduled a windshield replacement for a Jerp Grand Cherokee 2 weeks ago and was out of town and was told the part didn't arrive. They tried calling me last second to say it wasn't here and they had no idea when it would be here. Manager didn't want to come out after two times being asked to one explain why the part wasn't here. After trying to get the car here and scheduling it during my wife's test after working a night shift and then trying to get it ready for her when she wakes up, just to deal with "the car part isn't here and we don't know when it will be or if it will be" after two weeks of prep time is ridiculous. And then when you show up for your appointment and ask for payment that was different and not agreed upon from your initial contact. They say that they will handle and speak with your insurance for you. I had to do all this for them. Not helpful from the beginning. Sadly, Utah's roads and the high level of dirty construction vehicles continues to haunt drivers. I don't follow closely, and I try to avoid being near other traffic, but I've still managed to get three repairable windshield strikes in the past year. I have always been stressed over rock chips, worrying that, at any moment, the cracks will run and the windshield will be toast. Now I just call my insurer and it sets up an appointment with the repair shop of my choice. I don't hesitate; I always want Safelite. The company sends a knowledgeable repair man to any location and does the repair as perfectly and professionally as is possible.It is so slick and the service personnel are friendly, efficient, and fast. I LOVE SAFELITE! They take the pain out of windshield rock chips. read more

After getting water leaking in my car (life testing me again) and after a long ordeal finding out it was due to my front windshield I did some research before selecting Safelite AutoGlass. All the places I called had a lifetime warranty on their glass and were about the same price. I say do your research and select a company who's location and additional bonus coverage match your needs. Do not go to a non-company place to save money--I did this--and I ended up paying the price years down the road! My research: Abra: So for starters I will say that Toyota recommended I go to Abra and said they use their services for their vehicles. Located in utah, colorado etc. A bit pricey. Techna Glass: Located in Nevada, Utah. Do cover rock chips! Diamond Glass: Most expensive quote was received here--bye Felicia! Safelite: located nationwide, so considering I will be moving, it's nice to know my warranty can still be used if necessary. They said they have a lifetime warranty for their Glass for any poor sealing; do not cover new damages or rock chips. You must make an appointment, to my surprise they were very busy and did not accept walk-ins.You can get a quote and make an appointment online. Appointment took a lot less time than they said it would. Overall, I had a good experience and water no longer leaks into my car! read more

While the greeters, technicians, and manager were all friendly, quite a bit of air was left in the windshield rock chip. I had to have it redone by a different service and it looks better now, though it meant having to pay for the same problem twice. The original Safelite technician told me that their work is guaranteed and to just bring my car back if the windshield should crack. The manager later told me that the "guarantee" only means that they will Credit the rock chip fee toward the cost of replacing the windshield. Two very different versions! read more

I went in on a Friday and was told the only windshield they had for my car already had a scratch on it. They offered to take $50 off, but it was only $20 more for a new one so I opted for the new. We set an appointment for them to replace it by coming to my work on Tuesday. Tuesday morning Mike the technician called and set up the appointment. He called a few minutes later and said the windshield he had already had a scratch on it. I was a little annoyed because I thought I had already dealt with this on Friday, most likely there was a miscommunication at the office. But he went and got the new windshield and replaced it quickly. It looks amazing, and Mike was almost over the top friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure I was happy and my car was taken care of. Would definitely recommend and go to again (but hopefully will never have to :) ) read more

Save yourself the headache and go to a local company who will actually appreciate your business. My kids learned an unfortunate lesson about birthday balloons filled with water and glass on a hot day. :( We learned that glass is very brittle on a hot day and much more likely to crack. The glass was destroyed and not safe to drive. I called several places, Safelite was $197 for a large Toyota Sienna windshield and could come out the very next day. I called 3 other places who were booked out 3-7 days and the next best price was $260. Safelit was quick, responsive and they vacuumed and cleaned the other windows as well. Nothing really stands out here. I heard a rock hit my windshield, saw no sign of a chip, and then found a giant crack a week or two later that spread too fast to get it fixed. I arranged an appointment for repair here, came in, and was out an hour later with a shiny new windshield for an okay price ($220). This being my first windshield purchase, it's hard to compare. The price seemed in line with what I read that I should expect to pay. The service was nice and fast, which was nice. They do offer home and work installation services, I wish I had looked into that a little more so that I could have got that hour back. I played Zelda the whole time though so I really can't complain. Service was friendly as well. read more

I would like to give a higher review, unfortunately, my experience with their lack of consideration has produced a nightmare for me. I went in to get my windshield replaced 2.5 weeks ago. Everything was great with installation and I was enjoying the clean, damage-free windshield. However days later, to my astonishment, my car was not parked where I had parked it the night before. I quickly learned through a tough reality call, that they had not returned my parking stickers to my windshield. The oversite on both our parts was a costly $208 towing fee. Of course I could accept responsibility for not noticing the missing stickers (but who really pays attention to those ever?!?). I just can't get past the little but HUGE detail that they did not insure was in place... being that this is their job and something they do multiple times a day; I expect them to remember and take better care. Since the incident, I have called the company (it's directs you to their phone center) where they told me it is a courtesy to replace your stickers, but would have the manager call me back. Days later I go to the location (b/c sure enough a rock hit my windshield already!) to get it repaired. Front desk lady tells me the manager is still out (he had surgery), so she gives me his card. I call him the next day and leave a message--days later, still no phone call. So I call the location and she says she will remind him to call me and takes down my name. It's been over two weeks since I've been waiting to hear from him, and so far my confidence is waning. It's waning that this company isn't going to make ammends or reach out to help an unfortuate customer. read more

I walked across the parking lot into the local automotive store and bought a kit, with the same resin, for $15.99. An online video later and I was good to go. I can see charging $25-30 for a rock chip repair but $115 is beyond ridiculous. read more

Safelite's alway been where I take my glass for repair/replacement but this location is the real deal. The manager Jake has gone over and beyond the call of duty for me on multiple occasions. He's honest, has integrity, and will shoot you straight no matter what the situation is. It's hard to find good people like that and I'm grateful for all the help he's offered me. was extremely disappointed with the company. I had my windshield replaced 3 weeks ago by their staff. After the service my wife would complain about sounds coming from the windshield and 2 days ago my daughter put one of her toes on the windshield and it created a spider crack on the windshield. I tried to contact their customer support to see what my options were but the customer service bot is set up to not allow me to talk to anyone and keep you in a perpetual painful loop. Needless to say I scheduled something to find out that it wasn't covered. I have had a completely awful experience and I will make sure to tell anyone and everyone about how poor my service was. If I had a survey and a negative number was an option i would give that. This is the 3rd windshield in under a year I have had to replace and whether it is just bad luck or crappy materials that they use I will never go back to safelite. read more

I just purchased a new car 3 wks ago and already had 2 rock chips from I-15. Of course I want them fixed so I make an appt. The technician (Dylan) said the temperature of the windshield must be below 85 degrees to repair the rock chips safely, he said it was easily 80 degrees. I touched the glass, it was so hot I couldn't keep my hand on it, I'm not a professional but if it's too hot to touch it's definitely over 80 degrees. (it was noon and 95 degrees outside, my car was in the driveway in the direct sun) Long story short the technician repairing the rock chips added cold water to a hot windshield and it cracked. I was standing near the technician visiting with my neighbor when this happened, the tech said my neighbor must have jinxed him because this never happens. Seriously? My neighbors waiting to have a lung surgery & is very ill. Dylan leaves and another tech comes to install the new windshield, this Safelite employee stated "there's NO POSSIBLE WAY the windshield was at 80 degrees" Ive been doing windshields for 30 years. They should have waived my $500.00 deductible for their error but no! I'm disabled, that's a lot of money for their error and bringing my neighbor into the situation...really? No phone call, follow up, nothing. I do not recommend them at all. read more

Call multiple companies for a bid to replace my glass. Wrote extensive notes. Safelite came in the cheapest. Scheduled it with them. They were scheduled to come out today, except the reminder email telling me who my technician was, now had a MUCH higher price that the phone quote. We of course cancelled. Buyer Beware. I'm glad we had our notes from all the other companies so we can get somebody honest and respectable out to come out. Not somebody who does the bait and switch. ***In response to their comment, WOW tax and cleanup cost $67. Our original bid was $200. The emailed price was $267. 33% for tax and disposal fee. Again WOW. Why would you not include the disposal and mobile fees in a bid? I understand taxes, but I can figure that out, that's roughly 7%. Technaglass is coming out and their phone quote was all inclusive. No surprises for later. read more

I was lied to at safelite repair. The rep promised that similar to technaglass they would offer free rock chip repair for life which I just found out is a lie. I got a new windshield a few months ago and I already have two rock chips that need to be repaired. Do not go to safelite. Technaglass offers way better service and they do not lie to your face. When I first arrived, the guy in the Bay area wasn't very welcoming or pleasant. But once he directed to me the front it was a different vibe. The gentleman was very welcoming and pleasant. I had a windshield replaced on Dec 28 2018 and on Jan 10 I got a rock chip and the windshield still had the tape on from the install called Safelite they said to fix the rock chip would cost 98 dollars and the cost of the windshield was 200 dollars I said I thought you had a warranty cause it states it does on the receipt and on commercial WRONG they do not cover rock chips and it would cost 98 dollars to fix the rock chip hard to pay 98 dollars on a rock chip when technaglass it is cover for free when you buy one from them so lesson learn DONT BUY FROM SAFELITE they were not understanding when I called them 200 for a new windshield 98 for a rock chip ...
