The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Horrible staff and not helpful. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! First, they forgot to fix my car after it sat in their parking lot the entire day Then they put the windshield on incorrectly and my mirror is hanging from the windshield. After waiting to hear back from them for several days and me following up persistently - I was forced to go back to the shop and they broke off the hanging mirror from my windshield, leaving me in a non drivable situation. It is now over a week and they still do not have a new windshield for my vehicle. also, the manager is too much of a baby to get on the phone and confront the issue- which is completely their fault. Just take it elsewhere. Got my windshield replaced a week ago and they broke/ disabled the sos feature on my dash, by damaging the wire that is based directly underneath the windshield. They also misplaced my wiper blades, and they now go to opposite sides of the car and actually just snapped in half! On the third visit, the technician arrived at 8:48 AM, ripped the trim off my car, and claimed there was structural rust that prevented the install. ​I immediately took the car to a local mechanic and body shop in town; both confirmed the rust was NOT structural and the glass could be safely installed. When I returned to Safelite to ask them to put my trim back on, they refused. Because they removed the structural support trim and left it off, my windshield cracked completely across while I was driving away. ​To make matters worse, the front desk staff (Chrissty) was incredibly nasty and dismissive. This location has a reputation for mistreating elderly customers, and I experienced it firsthand. They left me with a damaged, unsafe vehicle and refused to take responsibility. My experience w/ Safelite (SL) has been horrible! Two+ weeks with a broken windshield -- 4 appts scheduled & messed up by SL. My windshield was hit by a rock while traveling for XMas. Called Statefarm (Mon) & they set me up w/ SL/Cape Cod. SL Dispatch called & set me up for a mobile, next day appt (Tues). Ten mins prior to my 4hr window was up, I got a call from a nice lady at SL Cape Cod who said they had no vans available & Dispatch never should have given me the appt. She talked me through repair vs replacement, we did some measurements over the phone & she advised that the windshield actually needed to be replaced not repaired. She assured me that they could do a mobile replacement at our vacation house the next day, Wed/New Years eve. Wed morning, SL Cape Cod called back & said there was a mistake and they did not have the windshield in stock, but could get it by Fri (Thurs was New Years Day/Holiday). I was concerned that we were headed home that weekend and that SL had cancelled twice already. So, I decided to reach back out to Statefarm and schedule the replacement when we got home to NY rather than getting the fix on Cape Cod. That day, I spoke with Safelite in Mount Kisco. They said that they had my windshield in stock and could do the repair on Sat, Jan 3. I shared that we were planning to head back from Cape Cod on Sat but if we get this taken care of once and for all, we'd just leave on Fri because this had now been plaguing us for the week. I triple checked that they had the windshield and we made plans to travel home on Fri, 1-day early, for the Sat repair. We arrived home around 3:30pm on Fri (a 5.5 hour drive) & at 4:50pm, I received a phone call from SL Mount Kisco indicating that did not receive the windshield in time for my appt. I explained everything (above) AGAIN & while kind & apologetic, all the woman could do was reschedule, which I did for today, Sat/1-week later. Through our conversation, I learned that my windshield would require a safety recalibration, for which it was explained they could give me the earliest/8am appt time on Sat. She noted the account/ticket & again apologized for all of my trouble. I called yesterday/Fri to confirm my 8am/1st appointment (CONFIRMED), the windshield glass was in (CONFIRMED) & we prepped the car and garage according to Safelite instructions. We waited for our 8am arrival this morning.... 8:30am, 9am, 9:30am..... no answer at Safelite Mount Kisco. No ability to leave a voicemail, just an endlessly ringing phone line. At about 9:45am, a man/Manager at Safelite finally answered. He advised that Caesar was at a home in Mount Kisco but would make it to my 8am appointment before noon. I asked if anyone saw the notes in my account .... he looked and ooops, let me call Caesar. I received a call from the tech/Caesar at the other appt in Mount Kisco. He hadn't reviewed the account or the notes this morning and apologized. He said that he had just finished the windshield replacement there & had about 30-40 minutes left on the recalibration but could get to me by 11:30am "as long as all continues to go well here." I asked about how we would manage if he had any trouble with my recalibration when the dealership/service center closes at noon and SL closes by 3pm He "did not expect we would have any problems" but he could always replace the windshield & then I could call the office on Monday with problems. (Will I have use of a car in this time? Will it be inspected? Safe to drive)? I had so many questions..... So, Caesar said he'd call his manager & I should wait for a call. Waiting, waiting, waiting ..... I made 4-additional calls to SL Mount Kisco's endlesslessy ringing phone. No answer. No return call from the Manager. When Caesar called back to say he was on his way, I said -- I've already called State Farm. We may have to move forward with another autoglass provider. He was kind, apologized & said he'd call his manager again to give me a call to try to sort this out. That was about 11 hours ago. read more

Staggering incompetence combined with Olympic self-praise and confidence. If your car has a safety camera behind the windshield (colission avoidance or lane departure) they will attempt to install an aftermarket glass that does not have the same specification as the factory OEM and when the camera does not calibrate, they will try to convincde you something is wrong with your car (because they are, clearly "perfect")!!! First off they claimed that they would not put my new windshield on because they were codes on my car. It turned out that they were old codes that were not affecting my truck whatsoever. And we're not active per the dealership I bought my truck from they installed the windshield which ended up being defective, but I didn't notice it until about a week later it was a huge scratch that on my windshield that looked like it happened when the windshield was manufactured how they didn't see this when they put the windshield on is beyond me because it's right in the line of sight when you drive, they also broke the clips on the Cowell on the bottom of the windshield never told me about it, forgot to reattach the hose for the windshield washer fluid when they were done and did not align the windshield wipers right when they put them back on and it now hits the Cowell on the bottom windshield and it's not supposed to do that the overall experience I had from them was beyond ridiculous. I don't see how I could ever use this company to replace my windshield again because the unprofessional job that they did. And not telling me that they not only broke the clips but also knowingly, put on a defective windshield when you can clearly see the defect on it read more

I own my 4th jeep wrangler and anybody who has ever owned one knows the windshield is prone to breaking because of the 90 degree angle. This being said, I have always used Safelite to fix or replace the windshield and have ALWAYS had the greatest service. This most recent time ( today) I used the Mt. Kisco location where I was treated with professionalism, friendliness, and respect. Getting a crack in your windshield is a pain. But dealing with Safelite is an absolute pleasure. I've been a USAA insurance customer for over 45 years. We had a tree branch fall on our windshield, resulting in a crack. We called USAA, and they got us an appointment with Safelite, but only for 10 days later. They didn't show. They then called and rescheduled for a week after that, and also didn't show. There is no way to direct dial to talk to a local Safelite person. Their national customer service people are unhelpful. We finally got another company from USAA, but it'll be another 2 weeks, so it's going to be over 6 weeks we can't drive the car. If we go to Toyota, they can do the repair right away, but it'll be out of pocket. If referred to Safelite by anyone, choose another provider. These people don't bother to show up or call if they can't make it. And you can't call them. read more

Registration and emissions stickers were not placed back on the car - do not go here. Go somewhere else! I had a small nick that needs to be repaired. Someone came to the house and said I need to have the whole windshield replaced because when he tried to fix it the nick got bigger and because I have camera so I have to bring the car to their shop for the windshield glass to be replaced and camera recalibrated. That was fine. I had no problem with this. Then I came Tuesday and they called after an hour saying that the replacement glass they have has a scratch so I had to come back on Friday. Then on Friday I dropped off the car at 9 AM and it was not ready until 4 PM!!! I was not happy but I still did not make a big deal even though it took them 7 hours!!! Also, I was promised last Tuesday by Chrissy that I will get a new windshield wiper due to the inconvenience of not getting it done last Tuesday but they did not. I did not even mention it. Then the cherry on top, I drove a block away and my gut feeling was telling me that something is wrong and then I realized that they NEVER put back my emissions and registration stickers!!!!! It's a good thing that I was not pulled over by a police!!!!! I came back and when they put back the stickers, the emissions sticker now says VOID because they did it so badly!!! I reschedual and take day off from work - i arrive at safelite for the install, had to be done in shop for calibration, and guess what, wrong windshield again. As im waiting for them to figure it out the installer was agrivated and started dropping f bombs in the waiting room because he was stressed with his manager. When i asked when they could take care of tghis all i got was "i dont know". I recieved no apology and missed two days of work due to thier incompetence. My window cracked back in October and I scheduled an appointment for October 25th 2021 to have it fixed. We received a message that the appointment would be canceled due to backlog in shipping the window, which is not unexpected. But we never got a call back to schedule it. We followed up 6 times with the same excuse "no update" or "we will give you a call tomorrow after following up on this", which never occurred. 2+ months later and the crack is still in the windshield. read more

I'm very patient and will always give people the benefit of the doubt but this place has come to disappoint me time and time again. My appointment was rescheduled over 7 times. They claimed to have called me to update me but this was not true. They eventually forgot about me and removed my appointment from the system until I called about it. Finally after 5 months I finally got my windshield fixed but they had given my key to the wrong person even when I specifically told them to write my name on a sticker and put it on the key card. I drive a Tesla Model 3. This place is unorganized and unresponsive. They do below the bare minimum to help their customers. The actual service team seems nice but the people who schedule and manage the appointments have disappointed me multiple times in the past 5 months trying to get my windshield fixed. I even had to pay two tickets because my inspection has expired and I couldn't get it inspected because of my windshield. This place is horrible. Find a different Safelite. My truck went 2 times to replace the windshield. 1st time we get a call 9 hours later stating they can't reprogram the camera because of a scratch so small the eye can't see so they scheduled another appointment to put a whole different windshield in. We bring it back and they put a Acura windshield in had the car from 9:30am to 8pm tells use it was done. We get there to pickup No one is there the camera is still not programmed, there black calk all over the truck the trim around the windshield is lose clips miss for the trim, horrible job. Yesterday I had an emergency, my weather strips on my roof came loose and my car was leaking water from all 4 corners. I call safelite and after 10 minutes talking to a bot it tells you to go online for an appointment. I go online and you only can make an appointment for broken glass not emergency weather strips. I drive to Mt kisco because there website said OPEN. Not "Open for appointment only" it said OPEN. I sat outside from 8:10 to about 9:15 and no one showed up. Pathetic customer service you can't call or anything only make appointments online for broken glass and who knows how long it'll take to show up. I called this company the beginning of this month, and they made a nice quick appointment for only a few days later. I stayed home from work and waited. And waited and waited some more. At the last 20 minutes of the 5 hour service window, I received a call saying they were not coming because my replacement window was cracked. Ok, one day of work gone. The next appointment, I took off of work to make sure I was there. I received a text (during my appointment window) saying I was rescheduled. I called and was told the technicians "didn't want to be cold" (even though I told them it would be in a garage) smh. Third time, the excuse was "none of my installers showed up". Now today, 5 minutes before the end of my 9 HOUR appointment window, they say they are on their way. Nope. Sorry. I've had it.
