Waiting on rain sensor... Had a new windshield installed, then found out through the dealer the rain sensor was not working. Went back to Safelite ... lots of red tape to contact them ... had to go through my insurance... finally called back to set up appointment... they confirmed issue said had to order... nearly 4 months and no answer. A few years ago, I had my windshield replaced in my truck, and shortly after (few months) I noticed it had a crack coming from the side of the windshield. Not knowing that the windshield had a warranty, or thinking that it was something that would be covered, I decided to let it be so I didn't have to come out of pocket to replace the windshield I just paid to replace. Fast forward to a month or two ago, Safelite came out to repair a windshield in our other vehicle (great experience, only reason for two stars and not one), and while they were there, they look a look at my truck and told me that the crack looks like its something that could be covered under their lifetime warranty (my first time hearing of lifetime warranty). I contacted Safelite to see if it was something I could have replaced under warranty and they set me up an appointment for an inspection and warranty replacement. Well the day before my appointment, someone from the local shop called me and told me they weren't going to cover my windshield because I didn't notify them 30 days after the crack started to form. I looked up the policy and I saw where that's required for a warranty repair, but I have to say that that's a sleezy condition to a warranty (a warranty I wasn't even aware of until recently), to squeeze out of covering a defect in their product. What is the point in a lifetime warranty if they aren't going to honor it for the lifetime of the repair. Shame on Safelite. They've done all my glass repairs since moving to GA, but they won't be getting another dime from me or my insurance policy. read more

Do not use them. Brand new 3 week old windshield with a sress crack under warranty and they wouldn't honor it. Ruined my son's sound system and he couldn't get anywhere with them either. read more

I came in for a windshield replacement. I dropped my car off at 7am and came back at 5pm to find that they hadn't replaced the windshield. Turns out there was a mix up with my key and another. The staff immediately corrected their mistake and did a full replacement in an hour and a half. They made the inconvenience with it and did a fantastic job. read more

They were very professional, prompt, and friendly. They did a good job except for the windshield wipers not fitting exactly right.

They scheduled our appointment for Saturday, between 9-1. Waited around all day and nobody showed. No notification and no human that I could call to find out where they were. read more

I made my appointment online and it was between 8a-1p today. I received a reminder text on Thursday about my appointment. The technician called me enroute and once he arrived on my job. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to fix my chip, bc it had spread into a crack, due to the cold. But the technician, was very friendly and apologetic, about not being able to fix my windshield. He even called the office to see what else he could possibly do to help me. But unfortunately I have to replace my whole windshield. I had a crack on my windshield that needed repair. I arrived and was immediately greeted and taken care of. Customer service was great. The facility is clean and offers coffee, water & snacks for waiting patrons. As a mom I really appreciated the kids section of the waiting area. They had a television with Netflix that allowed me to entertain my kids. This made the wait period go a lot smoother! I also like that the waiting area has ample room and didn't feel congested. Scheduled appointment time from 1pm-6pm. Technician did not show up nor did anyone from safelite contact me in regards to no being able to make the appointment. This is unacceptable being that people are expected to sit around and wait for 5 hours only for it to be a no show. read more

two weeks ago, i preorder a windshield from them and they gave me an appointment on a Saturday. when that appointment finally came around, they had brought me a windshield that had a noticeable scratch in it. So i told them that i wouldn't be buying that especially since it was costing close to $600 dollars. So they rescheduled me for the next Saturday and told me they would have a new windshield without any scratches. When it was getting close to that appointment they scheduled me for a late evening appointment when i was supposed to get a morning appointment because they had simple forgotten but i made the time for the appointment anyway, then i received a text on the day of my new appointment saying that the NEW windshield also had a scratch in the same exact location that was also pretty noticeable so i started to believe that they didn't even get a new windshield for my car. im highly disappointed in the service i received. read more

Use their online process to schedule the glass replacement. The price that was quoted was nowhere near the price that it was going to cost to have the windshield replaced. They called me the day of the appointment did not have the glass for my vehicle. I still excepted the glass. They said they were going to do showed up 15 minutes before my schedule appointment. And then they still were late. Pulling my truck back. I canceled the appointment. This place is the most inefficient organization I've ever seen. read more

Safelite sent a technician that was untrained in older cars did not know how to remove the trim pieces he made untrue statements and was very unprofessional. This company tried to add more costs and was more expensive than other companies. I would strongly recommend NOT to use this company they don't deserve even 1 star. read more

I was told my appointment was for 8-20-22 between 8:00am - 1:00pm. I received an update that the technician will arrive between 8:30-9:00 the technician texted me that he is on his way at 8:18. I told him that Ill be there in 25 minutes at 8:19 he informed me that he was already on the other side of town and that he couldn't wait. The technician didn't go to the service appointment according to the lack of footage on the cameras and that in 1 minute he was already on the other side of town. There are no ways to contact this company other than a call center, I called the call center and they couldn't reach the office either so they texted them and they haven't tried to contact me. So my company vehicle is undrivable until I get the glass replaced. I waited 9 days for the glass to be replaced and I guess it wasn't important to them. Small business owners that have a downed vehicle with broken glass I can't recommend a call to Safelite unless you want to waste your time. read more

Had a rock chip in my windshield and stopped in for an estimate. They had me in and out of there in 15 minutes for an extremely fair price. The place is comfortable, clean, and organized. This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. on labor day I found out my driver side window was busted so I scheduled an appointment online that very same day. Got a confirmation that someone would be out Wednesday to replace the window. On Wednesday the technician that was supposed to come out called that afternoon and said hey I have the wrong part sorry I can't come. I will have corporate reschedule your appointment. I called corporate to confirm and make sure that they ordered the right part for my vehicle they confirm they had the right part. They then proceeded to schedule my appointment for Friday morning and said the technician would be out first thing. Technician comes out Friday morning and says hey I have the wrong window. We'll have to reschedule your appointment again for next week. I call Safelite again and ask him what the hell is going on how could you order the wrong window twice and that I've been without a truck for over a week and now you want me to wait another week until you can get back and pretty much all they could say was that they were sorry. no other excuses other than hey we must have ordered the wrong part. No crap you order the wrong part you had one job to do and that was it. safe to say I'm going to go with a local company now and Safelite will never get my business as an individual! read more
