The only downside to my experience was when it came time to pay I was planning on using a credit card but for some reason this place is one of those "we will add 3% on if you use anything other than cash/debit". I guess I would expect this from a small business but not Markquart! Overall pretty good place to take a beat up car, I would go here again (lets hope i don't have to)

My Honda was misfiring and not running well at all. Calling several Repair shops in the area, Spuhler was the only one who I reached, and kind enough to squeezed me in for the repair. From the second I walked in; I could tell all of Ken's team was the best. I overheard from them talking to other customers that they were trying to close early to get a head start on the Holiday, yet they stayed open and worked quickly to get me back on the road. I was expected a large bill at the end due to all the hassle, I put them though, yet the invoice was more than fair, and I only wish that all auto repair businesses were run like Ken's. We are Youngstedt's customers in the Twin Cities, and I was relieved to see a name I could trust. After dropping his car in Eau Claire and getting him home, we got a call promptly the next morning and updates throughout the day as the shop diagnosed the problem. Since we were so far away - they could have taken us for anything - a new transmission, new alternator, you name it. Youngstedt's was honest about the repairs - turns out it was spark plugs and an air filter. Maintenance that was due in 10,000 miles, but advanced because of the weather conditions in a Midwest snowstorm. We were well on our way less than 24 hours after the car trouble, the repairs were quick, honest, and thorough (three test drives and they showed us the parts that were replaced), and they not only earned our business, they earned our trust. If were weren't already, we are now Youngstedt's customers for life.
