They were going to rip off a single mother of 3. 700.00 to replace a hose? Oh, that's because the hoses come in packs of 2, even though Sharon needed 1 hose replaced, they were going to charge her for an extra part, that they were not going to use on her car. I know parts are expensive, but that's ridiculous. She told them that was too much and called around and M & S Auto's estimate was for 260.00. They recognized the dire need of a working Mom. They had compassion for her situation and helped her. They fixed her car in 20 minutes, instead of the Tuesday, originally stated. She had her car towed to Auto Repair Inc.1st. They did a diagnostic test on her car. They charged her 70.00 for that, and gave her the 700.00 estimate. When she wisely declined, she tried to pay the bill with her credit card over the phone. They refused to take payment over the phone, and refused to release her car to the towing company. She was sick, with 3 kids, I gave her a ride to the shop to pay in person. They made her wait around the desk, while the workers stood around, taking another customers info over the phone. One guy told her to quit asking questions. What type of men take advantage of a woman, who is obviously sick and struggling. Speak to her in a way that she comes out sobbing, at her wits end. SHAME ON YOU AUTO REPAIR INC. Five stars isn't enough for Senneco Auto Glass!…read more I have a 1970 Chevy C10, and finding someone to replace the leaking front windshield was like searching for a unicorn. When I called Senneco, they were incredibly kind and immediately said they'd love to help. I brought the truck in and met Dave, who was just the best--so friendly, patient, and happy to walk me through the process step by step. Senneco wasn't able to source the exact glass I wanted (I'm a little picky when it comes to my truck), so I went on a months-long hunt to find it myself. Brought in what I thought was the right glass--nope. Total fail. Came back later with the correct one, and Dave got it installed fast. What really stood out throughout this whole saga is how respectful and kind Dave was every single time I showed up (which was at least four visits). As a woman, I'm no stranger to being talked down to in auto shops, but I never once felt that here. Dave treated me like a valued customer and a fellow enthusiast, and that meant the world to me. That sounds like it should considered a recall. I reached out to my local Ford dealership to ask about financial assistance through Ford's "Goodwill Assistance" program. My vehicle meets the program's general eligibility criteria--it's under 100,000 miles and less than seven years old. However, I was quoted $9,492.50 for the repair. Without any financial assistance, a repair of that cost is simply out of reach for many people with a median income. At just 94,000 miles and six years old, I never expected to be without a working vehicle due to a major transmission failure. It's incredibly disappointing, especially after learning how many other owners have experienced similar problems. Because of this experience, I've made the decision that my next vehicle will not be a Ford. That decision isn't one I make lightly. I grew up in a Ford family. I've owned and driven Ford vehicles my entire life because I trusted the brand and believed in the quality of its products. I had genuine brand loyalty. They gave me an estimate for something like $500 (this happened last fall) but then recommended that the scrape was superficial enough that it should be fine with just some touch up paint. They ordered in the touch up paint, painted it for me, and only charged me the cost of the paint! Amazing! My wife also had a significant repair done by Lossmans, and now you cannot tell which side of the car was repaired.
