Auto Repair would have slapped a pair of pads on the worn down rotors, so I am grateful that they refused to work on my car. And when they grow up I hope they develop a sense of humor. Also the waiting area has 3 metal high stools to sit on and every time they go back and forth ( which they do a lot) a deafening bell chimes which is very irritating when you have to sit on those hard, cold stools for an hour.

They diagnosed me needing wheel bearing on the front of my 2014 Corolla on BOTH sides and needing to replace both my control arms. This would have costed me almost $3000. I called Robert and Auto Doctors and asked how much for all the work and I was quoted about half the cost. Once the car was at Auto Doctors, they did a diagnostic and said that all I neded was one wheel hub. So rather than spending $3000 on parts and labor from an over-inflated price gouger, I spent less than $500 on a GREAT SHOP. Jason the owner and Robert his service writer are awesome.

This business is now called United Towing & Auto Repair…read more United Towing & Auto Repair put a BAD AFTERMARKET FUEL PUMP in my 2017 Mazda CX5. When I towed my car to United on 5/26/26, United (John) told me a Genuine Mazda Fuel Pump WAS NOT AVAILABLE and I had to get an Aftermarket part. I paid $1109.67 for this Aftermarket part which failed in less than 30 days and I only drive my car 1-2 times per week. On 6/23/26, my car was dangerously stalling out on 278 & Burnt Church Rd and making a loud sound (not drivable). I thought I was going to get killed. Beachside Auto was right there, so I pulled in. Beachside diagnosed the issue right away as the faulty aftermarket fuel pump. They said this is a very sensitive part and genuine parts should be used on Mazda's for compatibility reasons. I guess United didn't know this? Beachside ordered a Genuine Mazda Fuel Pump (which arrived in 1 day), replacing the aftermarket part, and my car's been running great ever since. On 6/29/26, I brought the aftermarket fuel pump back to United to see about getting a refund since I was charged $1109.67 for this bad part. (Note that Beachside's Genuine Mazda part cost was only $880 for the REAL thing). I was willing to negotiate with United on the Labor ($405) since they'd already done the work. United said they'd file a warranty claim and that it'd be after July 4th to get back to me. I asked John how Beachside could get the Genuine Mazda part in a day when he told me they were not available. John tried to defend himself by saying he meant that the Genuine Mazda parts were not available on THAT specific day (i.e., 5/26/26). I can't read John's mind, nor know what he meant to say- I can only act on what he DID say to me that day - that the Genuine Mazda part was NOT available, only aftermarket parts were available. Even if local Mazda stock was all out that specific day, the part could have been shipped from another location outside their local delivery area. (The part is small - about the size of a very small cantaloupe). I returned to United a few days later to follow up on the warranty claim but they needed more time. I requested the $1109.67 part price refunded but John said that was "unlikely". John also called me 7/8/26 to ask me (again) WHY I didn't bring my car back to them for repair; I gave him the same response - that I couldn't trust them. They told me I had to use an Aftermarket part (no Mazda parts available) when Beachside somehow could get a Genuine Mazda part in just 1 day. United's "warranty repair" would have put another BAD AFTERMARKET PART back in my car. Additionally, another statement caused me to question their integrity/accuracy. When I asked about leaving my car outside overnight, John said not to worry because they have a "secure lot" since it's a tow yard. When I arrived on 5/26, no security existed -NO fencing whatsoever, no Rottweiler, n-o-t-h-i-n-g - anyone can walk right into their property. When I questioned that ("secure lot"), it became, "well, we've never had a problem before". On 7/15, I went back to United for their final decison. John told me I will get NOTHING ($0.00) back because I should have TOWED my car back to their garage for their warranty service. United honors the Manufacturer's warranty, in this case = O'Reilly's (where they bought part from). The Manufacturer's warranty states they'll replace the part or refund at their discretion - and only to the entity that purchased it (i.e., United). United's Invoice also states warranty repairs have to be made at their garage. However, if United is only honoring the Manufacturer's warranty, then they would've put another BAD AFTERMARKET FUEL PUMP back into my car since that's all O'Reilly has. Having another bad part put in my car, and endangering my life again on the highway, was NOT an option. United will be made whole by O'Reilly for the part cost, PLUS, get to keep my entire $1614.54 that I paid, including labor markup. This is 100% GREED and an absolute lack of fairness and ethics.

He stated that the engine needed injector replacement based on the report. He wrote up an estimate for $1,476 and asked for a $1,202 deposit claiming that was to cover parts. He went on to say that he eats these jobs for breakfast and that he would try to squeeze it in before the Thanksgiving holiday or even come by on Saturday to begin the work. 11 days later having not heard from him we decided to stop in and check on the status of repair, Aleczander greeted us stating he had not begun the job suggesting if we were going to micromanage his work we could get a refund and go elsewhere. I would strongly suggest to anyone thinking of going to this repair (Doctor Auto) shop to consider going to someone more reliable.

I came in to fix my master cylinder then upsold me on a serpentine belt that wasn't needed at all then they told me it could've been my ABS module and instead of checking and confirming they were like yeah lets just fix the thing they asked for and move them along.Starting a service I DID Not APPROVE just to tell me that bleeding the brakes manually didn't do anything then using the machine.They stopped when i told them I did not want that service so now i paid $700 something just for my car to be sitting in their lot for 4 days while they twiddle their thumbs. Location is not that great either.MORAL OF THE STORY: Don't waste your precious time on a garbage shop like this. Just for your sanity...
