I had them take my family to the airport. That went well, the driver was on time. They were suppose to pick us up on our return trip. Our flight was delayed in the morning. Tried calling them all day, no answer. By the time we got to the airport at 1:00 in the morning nobody was there. I had my kids and 3 & 5 year old grand kids with no way home. I had to call two ubers to get all of us home. 95.00 each after 2:00am. I went to their office to get a reason for the no show. The lady said she wasn't in on saturday. They did refund the return trip money but wouldn't pay for the ubers. I've used them in the past but never again. They should take the reliable name off their company. Dave Esser read more

I rented their 42 passenger bus for my wedding day. Booked it over a year in advance. They call me the night before my wedding at 6pm, while I'm at my rehearsal and tell me that the bus I rented hasn't been working since MONDAY. They gave me absolutely no notice. They gave me a smaller bus where some people who originally planned to ride, got told that there wasn't room anymore for them. They gave a little refund for the incident. We forgot a few things on the bus and they won't answer any calls. I've called three times within the last 2 weeks since my wedding. read more

I needed to send my college daughter to pick up her younger sister (15yrs) from the airport. Tanesha listened to my concerns and helped me plan a trip that was safe and reliable for transporting my daughters. It was going to be a black Mercedes SUV. What arrived was a large black van party bus! My older daughter reported that th driver knew the whole story and that they called to check that everything was okay. They not only picked my daughter up on time, and arrived at the airport on time, but my younger daughter had the time of her life. She had wanted to get a taxi on her own. She wrote to us, "Guys, this is sooo much better than Ubering! I can't believe I almost gave this up!" Then she sent us a video of her dancing! My friends booked a party bus for a birthday and it broke down beforehand so we were downgraded to a limo making it a tight squeeze but they offered an extra for free, cool. Not cool is getting stranded on the side of the road in the middle of no where because the limo broke down. Also not cool was the driver telling us they had another bus coming to pick us up so we didn't order Ubers. Ultimately after an hour and half of them never coming to get us we were told to get Ubers which cost more than the original party bus was supposed to cost. So you'd think they'd refund everyone for their Ubers, too - right? Wrong. I will be calling to speak to the manager today and if things are corrected then I will update my rating but from what I'm hearing I don't expect any sort of refund. I suppose they should change their name to Safe "or" Reliable however; I'm not entirely sure having two vehicles break down in a matter of a few days is really safe either. ***edit: still one star until they refund every individual who was out $100+ Uber ride that was on the bus. read more

I have taken several of the day trips to Cleveland for Cavs and Indians games with friends and my daughter and was very impressed with the cleanliness, promptness and professionalism of Safe&Reliable! I scheduled and paid for their Escalade Limo for 12 people to ride to and from the flats for a birthday celebration. I received a call 30 minutes before they were scheduled to pick us up stating they were going to be an hour late. The reason they provided was, the limo I had reserved was being used to drive an employee to a "broken down" limo before being able to pick us up. Apparently this employee needed to travel in style at the expense of our reserved pick up time. They did refund my money right away but totally ruined the plans for the evening with alternative travel options being extremely limited 30 minutes before we were scheduled to leave. I would not recommend or use Safe and Reliable Limousine again. read more

I don't know about Safe, but reliable couldn't be further from the truth. I had surgery almost 3 weeks ago and made arrangements for a cab to get to my Dr. appointment the following Tuesday at 1:00. At 1:10, I called to find out where my cab was, and she told me they were running behind and someone was on their way. At 1:25 I called again, and was told the same thing again. I had to cancel my their service and asked a neighbor if he could take me to my appointment. I decided to give them another chance and scheduled a cab for the following Tuesday @ 1:30. By 1:45, they still had not shown up. I called the office and was given the same answer as the first time. I asked when I could expect someone and she told me she hoped they could be there within a half hour, which again would have made me late for my appointment, so I canceled the service. My neighbor came home, just as I was hanging up, and took me to my appointment again. They don't get a 3rd chance to fail. read more

I booked this service on Sunday, July 5th 2015 with WILLIE! The deal was set up for a 430pm pick up to go to Blossom Music Center in Kent. And a pick up for 11pm from Blossom Music Center in Kent. I booked around 3pm that Sunday. After I booked I had called back and asked for an e-mail to confirm everything, which I was told by WILLIE!!!!! to call back the next morning and speak with some Rodriguez guy he could e-mail my confirmation if I needed it in writing, because WILLIE apparently didn't have e-mail. (21st century business with no e-mail, I guess this should have been my first sign things would not go well). I am a working person so I did not make/take the time out of my work day to call back on Monday and have them send anything in writing, as I had set it up over the phone on Sunday. On Tuesday, July 7th 2015 I called back and spoke with WILLIE approximately 1230pm and once again re-confirmed my trip for 4 people. (Only because my parents were concerned we had nothing in writing, I normally would never call a limousine service to re-confirm anything after you set it up over the phone, I just wanted to give them peace of mind). On Wednesday, July 8th 2015, someone from Safe & Reliable called my dad at 330pm to confirm the pick up???????? He called back around 4pm when he got the message and was told they could pick us up and take us to the concert, but would not be able to bring us home. WTF! Are you serious. We had a 430pm/11pm pick up time. So my father called me, and I - I am a normally very calm, level headed person - called to find out what is happening that we no longer had RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION to our concert. When I called this company I asked to speak to WILLIE, since I had set everything up with him and then re-confirmed everything with him. There is no excuses for miscommunication here, I spoke with the same person both times. So Willie gets on the phone and tries to say they have someone to take us but nobody to pick us up at 11pm and they cancelled our 430p pick up because we did not answer the phone. I was completely infuriated. I said to him - I spoke to you when I set this up and there was no issues, then I called back to reconfirm everything yesterday and no issues, why are you calling me at 4pm to tell me you can't pick us up at 430pm, do you understand how infuriating that is? He told me they are not going to send someone to pick us up if we don't answer our phone. My response was - I have now spoken with you personally 2x before today, you never once mentioned that there would be a call before you pick us up to confirm anything. Why would you not tell me that when I set this up, why would you not tell me that when I re-confirmed and spoke to YOU WILLIE yesterday? I don't have to tell you that ma'am - was his response. Ok so is this how you run your business, you just make reservations and don't follow through. WILLIE tried to act as though I did not fulfill some obligation, but the real issue was for whatever reason (poor scheduling and management) they did not have someone to pick us up at 11pm and they tried to blame it on this UNEXPECTED phone call that we did not answer 1/2 hour before pick up at 430pm. When I asked him why he would not just tell me they could not pick us back up at 11pm, when I talked to him Sunday and TUESDAY, he had NO RESPONSE. He could not answer. When I asked to speak to a manager or someone who could resolve this issue (His poor attempt to manager his job duties) he said that he had my number and would have someone call me. Which obviously nobody ever bothered to call me back. I feel the need to tell this story because I would hate for other people to book with this company, thinking they're reliable, considering they have the word RELIABLE in their company name, and clearly they are the furthest thing from it. We heard of them through Rover's Morning Glory the morning radio show in Cleveland. Apparently, you have to be a local Celebrity to get RELIABLE TRANSPORT from WILLIE or a call back from the company owner! I will NEVER use this company again, and I suggest others follow suit. read more

Very bad experience. The driver was not trained on how to properly use the technology in the vehicle, nor was he friendly. Started off with the broken handle on the van's door, then moved on to a broken music system. We had a party bus with NO music. What is the point of a party bus with no music? The driver informed us that it was supposed to have been repaired that morning. We even had the driver stop on our way to dinner to pick up an auxiliary cord thinking maybe just the Bluetooth was out, but that did not work either. No music. We were told by the owner "Big Al" that the driver was new and "was unaware of how the sound system operates". We were told that the Bluetooth did need a system update and he was sorry so he would give us a $100 gift certificate towards another vehicle rental. He admitted it was their fault but refused to refund any of the $600+ it cost to rent a busted Mercedes limo. I would not recommend using this company at all, he admitted it was their fault and didn't bother to make it right. Everyone on the party bus/limo agreed. Go with another company, clearly Big Al does not value his customers or their satisfaction. read more

DO NOT USE THEM! Safe and reliable? What a joke!! I booked limo with them on January 16, 2015 for my July 18 wedding. The contract was signed and paid in full. They were to pick me and my bridal party up at 1:30 pm to take me to my 2 o'clock wedding ceremony. Then take us from the church to our picture locations and finally, back to our reception. They called me at 1:15 to tell me they were going to be at least an hour late. When I asked why they responded that they were busy with Roverfest. THEY NEVER SHOWED! I and my bridal party had no ride to my wedding because everything was coordinated for the limo! I was late to my own wedding because they didn't even show up! I called multiple times to the driver, owner, and company phone- no response still! I paid $800 for a limo that didn't show! I hope this never happens to another bride on her wedding day. I ordered a cab an hour and a half before pick up time and was told by the dispatcher I would be picked up at the time requested. The cab did not arrive as scheduled so I called back and they stated it was shift change and the cab would be there soon. An hour later they showed up with a very rude driver. On the way to my destination I realized the driver was taking the long way and I asked where are you going? He stated this is the way to get to my destination and would not listen to me when I asked him to take the correct shortest route. He went 10 minutes out of the way which costs me more money. I would not recommend this company to anyone. my driver picked me up after he was already driving for 12 hrs., proceeded to take the long way to my destination to save paying a turnpike toll of fifty cents, sleepy and wanted to stop for coffee, but since I had to get to work and he was already taking the long way, I told him I didn't have time for him to stop. He then proceeded to weave down the back road that he wasn't familiar with, and almost missed a stop sign. We came to a stop at a red light, and he then looked both ways and drove through it!! Realizing what he had done afterward. I was trying to talk to him just to keep him awake! I called to let them know what happened trying to get a refund of my 75.00 ride, or at least something re-imbursed and they basically said that it was his word against mine! I asked to speak to the owner of the company, he was never available. I asked if he could call me, and that never happened. Very disappointed! read more
