i have a guild f47rc that the neck was broke on, i was able to get the neck repaired very nicely else where, but thought i would have sadeal do the finish work. so i spoke with norman the owner.he had me bring the guitar in, so i traveled 30 miles one way, he said with a lot of he hawing around that he could do the work and gave me a price of $150.00 and said it would take about 2 months to paint and laquer the neck,i said lets do it,when the workorder was written up, the estimate was not on it, so i made another trip all the way back to make sure the price didn't change without my knoledge, and that the work and price was in writing. i must have insulted there integrity because he handed my guitar back and said take it somewhere else, very rudely!! 2 months to me is along time to remember a price without it being written down on the receipt.theres is nothing wrong with needing a little protection,JUST ASK JUDGE JUDY!! what it really boils down to is that, what seemed to be a small job was beyond there ability. how did they ever became a guild dealer and authorized repair shop is beyond me!! also both trips to thier facility doors were supposed to open at 9:30am i had to wait till almost 10:00am both day's, 1.0 hour lost from work for me thanks to them. but i would like to thank norm for not doing the work because it saved me a huge dissapointment!! i'm sure. i'll leave 1 star the place was next to a really good resteruant. read more
