We showed up early on a Saturday morning and met the owners, who were very kind and knowledgeable people. He cleaned and inspected the ring, gave an estimated quality and value, then sketched out some design ideas. I chose one of his designs, we discussed pricing and he agreed to email me some images of what the finished product would look like. A few days later, I received the design mockup, approved (loved it!) and he said he could finish it in time for the holidays just a few weeks later. From start to finish, the whole process was made so simple. I really didn't know what to expect, having no knowledge on custom made jewelry (or jewelry in general). His design and finished product was stunning, I couldn't be more happy. I also felt like the pricing was very reasonable. It was a relief to work with experienced professionals that we could trust, rather than a corporate jeweler with pushy salespeople. He mentioned he does all the custom jewelry in house, whereas most local jewelers ship out their custom orders. He also connected me with a professional to provide an official valuation of the finished ring. Overall, this was such a pleasant experience and Jax Jewelers House now has another lifelong customer.

They clean your jewelry at no charge and have a decent selection of gemstones, diamonds, gold and I think they had silver as well. I saw a book over on the counter so I think they do special orders. It could have been a bit brighter in the store as it was not as bright as many jewelry stores that sell diamonds. Also I felt they could have been a bit more friendly but I guess some people just want to get their jewelry fixed and not have too much conversation.
