Jonathan contacted me back letting me know he would be able to help me out before Thanksgiving. He came today and did the retrofit. Fast, courteous, and professional just like 12 years ago. I would like to start off this review by saying that Gerald is the absolute best person I have ever…read moreworked with on a project. That's saying a lot because my family moved into a brand new build back in 2017, so we have had many, many people come through for projects. What made my experience with Gerald so great was absolutely everything that matters. He was always on time, always responsive, always a perfectionist, and always pleasant (no matter how early in the morning or late in the evening he was working). I am known by those close to me as an extreme perfectionist. Gerald is the one person who absolutely never let me down with his work (although it could be more accurately described as art). I'm the type of person who if I see one thing that looks off, it will eat at me literally every time I pass through that room. Gerald installed tile and baseboards both inside and outside of my house and after walking through those areas countless times, I still have yet to see anything that doesn't look absolutely perfect. Aside from being an absolute master of his craft, Gerald is incredibly generous with his time. He treats every project as if the house he's working on is the house that his family comes home to everyday. For example, while I was doing a walk through with him after everything was wrapping up, I was ready to sign everything off and thank him for a job well done. Well, during the walk through, Gerald pointed out a couple of things that were bothering him and he vowed to come back the next day to fix them even though I didn't even notice anything was off. So, if I'm an extreme perfectionist, then I guess Gerald is in a class all by himself. Even after making those extremely detail oriented fixes, Gerald came back to patch things up on his own time and also to clean up the mess that some other installers left on their job. Specifically, they chipped a few of the baseboards that he installed and straight up took an entire corner piece off the wall. The look of horror on his face when he saw the damage they did to his perfectly installed baseboards said it all. The man looked like someone absolutely ripped his soul out. It really spoke to how seriously he takes his jobs and how much pride he takes in his work. I really wish this level of pride and passion were more prevalent in all people when it comes to their chosen professions. Overall, I could go on and on with reasons why you should go with this business and not even think twice. However, I will choose to end the review now and simply trust that my experience helped you in making your own decision. We work really hard to pay for our homes, so it's important that those we select to work on it, work equally hard.

I replied that day that I would mull the numbers over and asked how many days he would need for the project and what his schedule was like for the next month...all of which implied that I was seriously considering taking his quote and having the work done. Well, I have since re-sent that email another 2 times and as of 2/20/15, have not gotten a reply. Really? Are you too busy to take 2 minutes to compose a quick email? Communicating with your clients is a large part of your business. Figure it out. Sorry, but since you are apparently too busy to communicate, then I will give my business to someone else. Below was posted 05/2014 After receiving a notice from our HOA that we needed our garage door painted I did some research to find a good all around handyman. I also wanted someone that I could call in the future for small jobs. I came across the listing for Brian and his business and researched reviews online and decided that based on the great feedback I would shoot him an email. I emailed on a weekday evening and received a prompt, professional response the very next morning. We set up an appt and agreed on a price. He came out at the exact time promised and inspected the door. I had recently done some maintenance on the door and there was garage door lubricant that had seeped through and dripped down the surface of the door between the section joints. Brian pointed out that the door would need to be primed or the lubricant would eventually bleed through. He offered to pick some primer up and just charged us for the cost of the material and no additional time. I had already purchased the paint we wanted. Brian finished the job in about an hour and even after spending a little note time getting the primer he only charged his original bid. The door looks great, the HOA is happy and that's one less thing for me to do in the weekend! Todd from Oz Stone & Ceramics is hands down the best contractor we've ever worked with!…read more We had been procrastinating on replacing the original shower in our home that was built in 2007. All of the quotes we got were outrageous - including a $24,000 quote from ReBath we had to suffer through a 3-hour presentation in our home just to hear. And that stuff is just plastic! Anyway, we knew we wanted something custom, which included: 1. Full demo / removal of the old bench seat 2. Floor-to ceiling large tiles (Minimal grout lines) 3. Custom floor (No pre-fab pan) 4. Dual shower head with 3-way valve 5. Frameless door 6. New vent fan (Our old one couldn't keep the mold out) You can see from the video our original shower was just gross. The caulking was worn out, there was water damage on the wall from leaks and mold, the tile was dated and I had to duck under the frame of the door every time I entered the shower. Todd came in for a quote and was super professional right from the start. He gave his honest advice on our design ideas and worked with us to find the right price for the work. I'm old school so these things matter to me - he looks you in the eye when speaking to you, explains things plainly and always shows up on time. He made a great first impression AND his quote was very reasonable. From demo to final product it took about 6 business days. Todd was very tidy and made sure to always pick up his mess at the end of each day. Honestly he was so neat he really didn't have much to pick up since he was always vacuuming and taping things off so well during the process. He was sure to check in with us throughout each day, making sure we liked the progress and asking approval when needed. He did all of the plumbing, electrical and tile work himself! We needed a custom piece of glass to fit our odd-shaped shower frame and he brought in Jose from Nwegen shower doors - he's worked with him for more than 16 years. Jose did an amazing job on (what I consider) a giant piece of custom glass and industrial hinges. First thing the Jose said to me when he got here was "I love working with Todd because I never have to second guess his measurements and things are always level." Seems like simple stuff but you know how they slap houses together now - things are rarely level to begin with. We are absolutely ecstatic about our new shower. There is so much more room inside, the dual shower heads are awesome and easy to adjust and best of all - no more ducking under the bar to get inside! Todd was so great to work with we were already hitting him with ideas for the rest of the bathroom before he was halfway finished with the shower. We have used several different contractors on our home and he has been by FAR the best professional connection we have made. Can't recommend him highly enough.
