As the project manager, Mike Gast was extremely patient and accommodating, and provided lots of feedback to solve various issues. This was a large project that involved removing the garage door, retrofitting 3 sets of doors, framing and finishing for a custom look, inside and out. They even installed special thresholds so we could be assured of being able to roll equipment in and out of the space easily. After each stage of the job, the crew cleaned up the area and removed all debris. The price quoted us initially was in line with competitors, better than several, who failed to follow up with us. There was no cost-creep, and we finished at the price quoted us. Progress and payment was tracked on their online job project site, which was an added benefit and inspired confidence. This go around was a completely and disgusting experience. The wife and I pointed out several blemishes that needed to be taken care of and didn't. We tapped all the spots as we were told and showed them to Richard the owner. He assured us these items would be fixed. After completion of the job, I told him my wife would do the final walk-through and we would get back to him. Richard agreed and even went into detail about the warranty. I texted Richard and he scheduled to come by the following day to get a "punch list." Richard never showed up, called or texted to let us know he wouldn't be coming. I wrote an email to the Richard to have a written documentation of our experience, to include being charged for labor and products that didn't get used. We were charged $1200 for a change order to level the flooring for the LVM going down. 10 bags were purchased, yet only 6 or 7 were used. You would imagine a refund for non-used material items, nope not this guy. He takes the money and runs. So glad I have cameras all over the property to also show cause for our complaint to the contractors' board. My wife had to clean up daily after the workers, who left water bottles, cans, and trash on our lawn, including trash on the side of our house that's still there. At this point I will be contacting the Contractors State License Board with included photos, and videos of the workmanship that they call professional installation. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT HALF ASS WORK. See attached photos.
