I will never do business with these people, they are such LIARS. They had the Taurus PT92 for $389.99 YUP YOU SEEN IT RIGHT $389.99! I make a purchase of it, two weeks later receive a phone call that they can't make the purchase. Hmm they say because they "don't have it in stock", and couldn't let the purchase go through. Looked on the website and it certainly was in stock and I asked them (not about it being in stock but I'll get to that back in a minute). I asked them ok how about holding the money there and when it does come in I'll pick it up. No "cause it's not available and won't link back to my name. Um duh take down my name and number, so anyways I check to see it if was in stock and it is and I try to call them back. They lie and never return my call so I can talk to the first dude I talked to. The biggest lie was them not admitting they fucked up on the price (which sat there for $389.99 for like 4 days) and didn't want to sell me the gun at such a great price. I mean come on man, you wanna make good business, honor the price to the customers from your fuck ups you lying pricks. read more

This is third time i have been here and it was good the first two times so i took my family from mexico on 01-01-2019 around 4:30 and check in with the young man was fine but the other guy who was there to help with the guns was so racist towards us he would not help at all he ignored us he wouldn't give us the guns we asked for , he was extremly nice and freindly to the other men there and we were the only hispanics there so it was very obvious by how he was acting towards us that he didnt want us there even after spending as much money as every one else there and I can't believe it's 2019 and there can still be people like this at this day and age. Bought unlimited on the rentals to shoot the same gun because they had no ammo. When getting another pistol , the sales boy only wanted to sell me one box of ammo because they were limited. No ammo when shotgun was asked for, didn't inform me that full auto ARs and semi ARs were different purchases. Seller had attitude, gun continued jamming. I've used ranges from FM1960 all the way to FM1488. Saddle River is by far my favorite. Excellent staff, great selection of products and the facility is top notch and state of the art. This is by far the best range in the area in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

I have had a couple of dangerous incidents happen at the Saddle River shooting range. Twice over the last year and a half, I have had inexperienced shooters point a loaded gun at me\us. The first time it was just me at the range. The second time was last Saturday someone next to us fired one shot and spun around and had the gun pointed at my son and wife and it took the RSO a while to come in. The person that came with the shooter almost made it worse by grabbing her arm and pushing it back instead of up. This along with some of the rude people that work there will keep me from returning. It's too bad because it's close and nice. I am even willing to pay a little more for those conveniences as I did when I bought one of my Sig's but no more, I'm done. read more

Been to most of the major gun ranges, and I will say that this is hands down THE gun range to go to! Along with the friendly and helpful staff, there is a great deli, nice lounge area with leather couches, and clean spacious gun ranges! Not only that but they also have an archery range, which I plan on trying soon! The firearms for sale and rent are plentiful as are the accessories, and cleaning/maintenance supplies! My husband and I have been going to Saddle River Range since they first opened, over a year ago. We like the facilities and visit the range at least once a week. Check in is not up to par, since at opening in the mornings, there is usually a delay on part of the employees once we are in line. Otherwise, we are happy with Saddle River Range!! read more

Saddle River is a breath of fresh air as far as gun ranges come. I've been to many gun ranges in the Woodlands Area and nothing comes close to saddle river. Vaughn I believe his name was, was very welcoming and made us feel right at home as well as every other staff member we encountered. Their rental gun selection is amazing with more guns to fire than you could dream of. Reasonable prices with a nice facility.. could not recommend more. read more

This is a stunning shop/range. They have all the right aesthetics for sure. Except helpful or friendly staff. The video you watch it a joke since the RSO sit in their little cubicle and only come out to sweep up brass. The check in process to shoot is a nightmare. Walked up to the counter, and were the only ones in line, and took about three minutes before we were greeted. Were told to go watch a video and sign a waiver, did that, then came back to the counter where a long line of people were. So we waited for about 20 minutes to finally get checked in. At this point we had been there for about 30 minutes just waiting to sign in for a lane. Get signed in and go in to the range. They have EXCELLENT ventilation in the range. Superb! However I had to place my purse, range bag, and all of our items on the floor because there was no where to set them. I have never been to a range that didn't at least have a rudimentary table behind you. We needed more ammo... go out to the lobby area again and I waited another 15 minutes to buy two boxes because the gal checking people in had no help. Two cash registers on their "date night" special and they only had one person. With their long and convoluted check in process I burned a 1/4 of our range time waiting for ammo. Went to leave and no one said a word. No, thanks for coming, come again, how was it? Nada. Which was strange especially considering we stopped at the now empty counter and asked if we needed to sign out or anything. The same gal just said, "no, you can leave." read more

Went to this range with my wife because we had heard good things about it and it was close. Upon arriving, we were directed to this "kiosk" where we had to view a video and electronically sign some forms (consent forms I think). While my wife was jumping through the electronic hoops, one of the male staff (I'll refer to here as Dumbass-1) made an inappropriate remark to her because of the clothes she was wearing. Dumbass-1 then proceeded to make things worse. We decided to leave. As we were leaving, Dumbass-1 follows us outside, grabs my wife's arm (VERY dumb Dumbass-1) and again tries to "explain" his inappropriate remark instead of simply apologizing. A manager (I assume, different color shirt - who I'll refer to as Dumbass-2) also follows outside. Dumbass-2 offers free range passes (no, I don't think so) and makes no effort to actually FIX the situation. Apology. Talk to the staff member about how what he did was wrong. Explain how Saddle River values it's customers and will try to improve on this. None of that happened. We didn't walk out because we wanted to shoot for free. We left because my wife was offended and felt uncomfortable. A pass isn't going to fix that. read more

This is a very nice range. They seem to focus more on the store/not-shooting experience, which is much appreciated because that's where a lot of ranges lack. You can make going to this range either a quick Tuesday night practice or social event with family and friends. The cafe is very cool and the store is very large for a range! By the way, they don't allow reloads on their range! Kind of a silly rule if you ask me but they claim they "blow up too often" read more

I was hoping to like this place. Close to the house, indoor (so my wife will come), archery range (so my daughter will come), etc. We usually go to Gander Mountain where I really like the range and people, but this place is closer. And archery range... At any rate, after a 30 minute drive we walked in, finally found the check in counter, and proceeded to stand there for approximately 10 to 15 minutes while being completely ignored by the two on the other side of the counter. My wife always wants to speak to a manager about employees that won't do their job, but I'm the type that figures if you don't want my money I'll go elsewhere. So back to Gander we will go. And Gander charges $25 a lane and no up charge for my son and wife to use it with me. read more

Beautiful facility but I didn't end up shooting there. The video that they make you watch says that reloads are not allowed. I went to the range sign in desk to inquire if that applied only to rental guns and was told that "no, reloads are not allowed, not even factory reloads" I grudgingly accept that picking up brass is not allowed, but banning reloads? My husband and I went to their open house yesterday to check things out. I've never been to an indoor shooting range so I can't compare but this was seriously a beautiful building. I thought they did a great job incorporating a lot of different things to cater to everyone. The staff and volunteers they had were very helpful and encouraged everyone to handle the guns they were show casing. I can't tell you much about the actual classes, how they do things, the gun range etc., but I will be back soon to look into all that. Oh, and with my work being so close I will most definitely be trying their cafe sometime soon!! read more

This was my 1st time shooting a gun. The staff was very patient, nice, and made me feel comfortable holding something so fierce. My 8 yr old son came and he had a blast "shooting" zombies, and bow n arrows. They taught my son that even though the gun he was holding wasn't a real gun but you should treat it like it is, because you never know. I really appreciated that. This was mine and my sons 1st time at a gun range and I am very pleased with my experience and will be back. If it was possible to give no stars I would. My husband and I wanted to go shooting for our anniversary and thought we might try out Saddle River Range as we have heard great things about it. We stood in the lobby for 10 minutes and not a single person greeted us or asked if we needed help. When my husband caught the attention of an employee the person looked away and walked the other way. Every other person who entered after us was greeted so we left and will take our business else where. read more

I bought a groupon gift $28, for range pkg for two, to husband for Christmas. A Family Emergency out of state came up and wanted to see if I could extend it cause it expires April 15. I didn't expect coupon to expire only 4 months later. They told me to come up there and I will be refunded the purchase amount and I could repurchase another groupon when husband gets back. I went up there and she said with the rental amount $12, lane rental 2 people $35, ear and eye pro $5 each and extra target $1, that I could only get charged $28 when he gets back, I already paid for it. Due to emergency, I thought they would have some compassion and just extend the expiration date. Guess that's to much to ask for. Disappointed in this place already and haven't even gone there yet. read more

We visited on a busy Saturday, browsed the store, got a good look at part the range through the window, and met the owner. Non-member range pricing is competitive, which is very surprising considering the facility is the nicest range I have ever seen. Even with competitive non-member pricing, buying a Gold membership was a no-brainer for me. Laurie guided us through the application process and welcomed us into the Saddle River family. I went today for my first visit as a member and was personally greeted by Laurie! Yep, feels like family. The range area staff members I met today were helpful, professional, and engaging, I plan to be at the range two times per week and will recommend Saddle River Range to family, friends, and students. read more
