I've been a member of a few other local massage parlors but this by far was the best experience. The massage therapist Arlethia, really listened to the areas of concerned and performed a well rounded massage in only 50 minutes. The lobby is very clean and pleasant and the rooms are very cosy and give an upscale feel. A unique safety feature they offer are an attention buttons on the side of every massage bed in the case of emergency or any reason. As a woman I think that is creative thinking that places a lot more ease in the experience. It is a bit on the pricier side but I believe you get what you pay for when it comes to health and beauty. I ended up signing up for a membership so I will definitely be back!

Plus I tipped the new lady and still got overcharged. Also one of the therapists didn't want to even massage me instead stood in the door way and absolutely refused me but didn't say anything. Beware of purchasing gift cards if you actually expect to use them here…read more I received a gift card for this establishment and attempted to book my appointment online. There was no option anywhere in the booking system to apply a gift card as a payment method, and there was also no comments section to explain the situation. I assumed it wouldn't be an issue and that the payment could simply be adjusted on the day of the appointment. Two hours before my scheduled massage I was asked if I could reschedule. I was happy to accommodate and didn't mind the change. On the day of the appointment, my therapist was friendly. However, during my prenatal massage she provided a lot of unsolicited advice throughout the session, which made it difficult to fully relax at a time in pregnancy when relaxation is especially important. Still, I was willing to overlook that part of the experience. The real issue happened at checkout. I was told I could not use my gift card for the service because the appointment had been marked as "prepaid." When I explained that their online booking system doesn't provide any option to apply a gift card, there was no willingness to adjust the payment or offer any kind of accommodation. Situations like this raise concerns about poor booking systems, lack of customer flexibility, and business practices that ultimately leave customers stuck with gift cards they cannot use as expected. Customer service and long-term client relationships don't seem to be a priority here. Unfortunately, this experience ensured that I won't be returning and the gift card meant to bring in a new customer ended up doing the opposite.

Today was the first time in a long time I have fully relaxed. While getting my massage, I actually fell asleep, which is a first for me. I will definitely be coming back. The location was clean, tidy, relaxing, and the massage bed was heated which was super nice as well. They also sell some products which I wanted to buy but totally forgot about so I will have to go back next week and buy some. It's a CBD pain relieving cream that also has arnica in it. Thanks jerica!

Called New York Massage as they are close and convenient and scheduled a Saturday appointment. They called and let me know they could get me in earlier if I would like, but I stayed with the original time. He then proceeded to give me one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. Really excellent! I think I may have found my massage go to! Very professional, and he has mastered a number of different types of massage... and is willing to dig deep to get the problem spots fixed. This is not a "fluff and buff" massage. The entire retreat area radiates an energy of peace and "Zen" from the moment you arrive. I attended the Gentle Yoga class led by Cristina, and she was incredible. She is soft-spoken, calm, and clearly very knowledgeable in the yoga arts. Her guidance helped me achieve a genuine sense of alignment and body harmony; it was the perfect environment to relax and deep-stretch. I also brought my mother along, who is a beginner. Cristina's teaching style was perfect for her, helping her find a great balance of movement without feeling overwhelmed. For the price and quality, there is no point going anywhere else…read more I've been going to Valerie for about a year and a half now. I started with prenatal massages, which you can read about in my first review, and I continued to go for a monthly massage postpartum. You cannot beat the price. She has raised her prices a little, but you can still buy a package where each massage will end up being less than $50. This is absolutely amazing when you compare it to other places. She also always goes beyond the full hour. Usually massage places take away time that you undress and get into the bed. Not Valerie. I routinely notice that I leave fifteen minutes past the hour. I get cupping done and it helps loosen my muscles. I tend to work out at least five times a week and I'm terrible at stretching so I do this as a way to try to thank my body. It is so relaxing and healing all at the same time. Whenever people talk about going other places for massages I think you're definitely paying more for the same, or lesser, quality. I should probably start voicing these opinions to be a good friend. Well, I'm telling the world here, so that should count for something. Just don't fill up my monthly massage spot!
