I absolutely love LaVita massage! I initially came to LaVita because I was given a Spa Finder gift card and they are accepted here. I did not have high hopes as most subscription based massage places have a lot of turnover and therapist that just seem like they want to get through the 50 minutes exuding the least amount of energy as possible. My massage therapist at LaVita was exactly the opposite. He asked about my trouble areas and gave me the best deep tissue massage I have ever received focusing on the knots in my back that were causing pain. Most 1 hour massages are a clinical hour "50 minutes". They give you 5 minutes to get ready and 5 minutes to get dressed. Some places take this to the next level, I've watched the clock and received 40 minutes in some cases. Not here, after 3 visits I have never felt they were limiting my massage time or putting less effort in to the massage since I subscribed to the monthly program. I highly recommend! read more

You know it's bad when you're falling asleep during a deep tissue. I had a terrible experience here last time and decided to give it another shot. I have a hard time paying $90 for a deep tissue massage that doesn't even last a full hour, while my masseuse hovers her hands gently in the same place for minutes at a time, with no pressure. I'm in the exact same pain as when I came here, just frustrated and $90 less than I had before. I will never come here again. read more

I am a 54-year-old woman. I have never wasted my time leaving a review however, this place is so bad. I feel the need to warn people. I booked a two hour massage and facial combo appointment. It started with the massage, if you want to call it that. I could have handed a five year-old a bottle of lotion and received a better massage. After that, was the facial. The woman rolled in with a bowl of warm water and repeatedly dipped two small rags in the same water to cleanse my face (Soaking the sheets, my neck and back, and the table). Then, soaked two cotton rounds with Garnier Nutrise, Meisler water and leave them on my eyes dripping into my eyeballs through the entire process. After that, she slapped on a thick peel off Facemask covering my mouth and without saying anything, exited the room and left me in an air-conditioned, wet sheet, freezing, cold room. 20 minutes later, she returned and proceeded to pick at the mask ripping hair from my hairline. I reached up, poked a hole through the mask so I could speak and told her to stop. She put two products on the base of my face. No eye cream, no lip product did not look at my skin, no extractions. Done. The products were from Over-the-counter, no customer service, never walk in this place. Run, and never look back. read more

The BEST deep tissue massage I've had in a long time. Plus good pricing, great atmosphere and friendly staff.

I got started about 15-20 min late which the therapist said I would still get my full time and ended up finishing on the hour. The massage itself was very uncomfortable. Lots of overpressure over bony areas and my spine is basically bruised. I requested to focus the massage on one area of my body and she ended up doing the entire body very rushed. Also the room and bed were body very hot making it an overall uncomfortable session. read more

Worst place I have ever gone to for a massage, they cut my 1 hour massage to half an hour and I didn't realize it was that fast until I got into my car and looked at the time. Needless to say I was disappointed after making my reservation. The ad in Yelp said walk in was available. It seems the therapists are busy enough that you must have an appointment. The lady at the desk gets my appointment set up for a few days later and I pay my deposit to hold the appointment. I understand the necessity of it from the business stand point since probably people don't show up to their appointed times. So this is the irony of this statement. I go to schedule time with Bonnie at the recommendation of the lady at the desk. I arrive 15 minutes early for my appointment a few days later and the receptionist gets me checked in. Takes my temperature and have me sign the COVID waiver and told me to have a seat around the corner. While I was sitting I kept hearing "you don't have an appointment " I wasn't sure if she was talking to me or someone else. But stayed behind the counter the entire time. After waiting 20 minutes or so she gets my attention says I dont have an appointment. I say how it is possible. I told her why would you charge me the deposit if I didn't make one. She verified that I had made a deposit. Instead of apologizing she offered to make another appointment. I found it unacceptable and have her refund my deposit. As I am writing this review I would expect a call from the business with an apology for wasting my time to come out for an appointment that the business didn't keep. I am sure I would have been charged for the massage if I didn't call or not showed up. Also allowed me to sit there waiting for about 20 minutes before telling me I had no appointment. Why couldn't she tell me before I checking in. There are too many other businesses out there are willing to provide me A+ service. Very very disappointed in this place for not upholding their appointment. If it were me running it I would still accommodate the client. Otherwise the place looked clean and professional. read more

The therapist did NOT do a consult to ask what kind of massage I wanted. The therapist did a hard and strong stroke massage. I requested a relaxing Swedish massage. I asked the therapist to change the pressure. My request fell on deaf ears. It was the most uncomfortable and painful massage. I do not recommend nor will I ever return. read more

This place is great if you don't know what a real massage is and you just want to say you went to a "spa" the other day. This place sucks. It is all about the money. I went in for a 30 minute massage (I can't sit still for an hour). I was having problems with my lower back and the thick black curly haired girl I had completely ignored my lower back. Instead she focused on my neck and shoulders which are now very stiff. I wasn't having problems with my neck and shoulders until I went there. Not only was my lower back left untouched, it felt like she pushed all the tension TO my lower back then ended the session. Like "if you want me to work that out, pay for another half hour," which I most certainly will NOT do, not when I said it was my lower back to BEGIN with. Especially not when Zen Xing Massage at the Citrus Park Mall near Macy's right down the street from there will work on the areas you want worked on for cheaper AND they're more efficient because they know what they're doing and they're not in it for the money--not like at La Vida anyway. Zen Xing Massage will work on what you want and make you feel better. Just ask for a table, not a chair. When I walked out of La Vida I was so angry because my lower back felt much worse. I was having pain when I walked because of that massage. Also it feels like she bruised me all over my back. I can't see it but I feel bruised. I went to Zen Xing Massge to get it fixed afterward, which the tall guy did in only 15 minutes. When I got up I felt wonderful. My back was totally fixed. DO NOT GO TO LA VIDA. read more
