I've been here twice. The first time the coffee, sandwiches and service were great. The second time the coffee was luke warm and the service was somewhere between indifferent and nonexistent - even though the cafe was half empty and there were four servers available who were just standing around doing nothing. read more

Great little cafe to grab a pot of tea on a chilly day of Soho shopping! I didn't try their coffees, but the tea was wonderful and pastries were great too. I couldn't get on WiFi because the password didn't seem to be listed anywhere visible, but otherwise, we were pretty pleased with Sacred. Nothing special, but nothing bad about it either. read more

Really loved the incense, happy wait staff, and upbeat music at this coffee shop tucked away by Carnaby. Their sandwiches are a bit off - a lot of thick bread where the fillings are kind of lost. Tho had my first bite of a NZ jelly lolly cake here and it was such a surprisingly good treat. Will definitely go back for more bites of it and for a nice break from Oxford Street shopping. read more

The cappuccino was really nice, and the quiche was tasty. My son enjoyed his chocolate as well as a bagel with butter and jam. We sat at the window and it took a while to get the food and the coffee, but was worth the wait. read more

This is one of my favorite respites from the tourist hoards on any given weekday afternoon. I like to order a cappuccino and a slice of lemon cheesecake and watch the people stroll by. The coffee is great, as are the sweets. The music can be a bit loud inside, and the place is generally stuffed, so if it's not rainy or cold--and let's be honest, it's never really that cold--head for the little cafe tables out front. read more

Went in here to grab some tea after a chilly day on Carnaby Street with some friends. There fruit teas all looked delicious and I ended up having a pot of the red berry tea which was only 2.75 pounds for about five cups-a great deal and a great drink. The space is very cute and comfy with a basement for extra seating, not like the cramped seating you find at many coffee shops. read more

For a chain - they have about 6 different locations, so that's a 'chain' to me - they do pretty decent coffee. I would NOT recommend the muffins or most of the other food, though. The coffee and snacks seem to be at polar opposites. While the toasted ciabattas are alright, they're nothing special and the muffins are just huge and bland tasting. Mine was super greasy last time and left a weird taste in my mouth for ages afterwards. read more

Best coffee in soho. Top macchiato, top cortado, top mocha, top flat white.

I went there yesterday with a Kiwi friend and I could really appreciate why she loves it so much in there. I had very lovely flat white and she had a mocha. Both came decorated with a beautiful 'feather' effect from the way in which the milk is poured and every mouthful of coffee was so enjoyable I wished my mug would have been never ending. A word to the wise would be to get the biggest size always. Coffee that good will bring out the glutton in anyone. read more

Nothing sacred about the coffee..it was awful! Pastries looked dull (which was a bonus for me cause I'm watching my weight). The only reason to be here is their outside seats, which are nice when weather allows, luckily - won't be tempted much with London's weather, especially when good coffees are served not too far away. read more

This would have to be my favourite cafe in London. The flat whites are great (particularly if you are a kiwi looking for a real flat white if you are are a fan of starbucks/costa, be warned this coffee may not be what you are used to). There is heaps of seating space, either outside in the sun, upstairs or in the cosy downstairs area. I love coming here to hide away with a book, a coffee and a piece of slice. They do good old lolly cake (yum) but the vanilla cheesecake is particularly tasty. The other food on offer looks good too, there is usually a selection of kiwi biscuits, cakes and savory food. The service is also great the coffee is quick and the staff are friendly and not pushy if you are standing there deciding what to have. Love it. read more

Well what a lovely surprise this was. Always walked past this place and assumed it was a bar - in actual fact I would call this a bar, come cool tea room (with awesome music). That's right, this place not only serves cocktails, but they serve tea and other hot beverages (in a bar like atmosphere), with the added bonus of having comfy sofas and chairs. Additionally the music isn't too loud, so you can actually hold a conversion. If you go for pots of tea, they are served in random teapots which are so fun, so no one has the same teapot as you (adds a certain uniqueness I think). Sacred is a lovely bar/tea room (Yep that's the category I'm putting this place in!) - really relaxed feel and great atmosphere. Will definitely go back (and I must try out the sofas downstairs this time). Watch out London - Sacred are on to a cool, new happening idea here! Who wants a jammed-pack bar with huge queues at the bar when Sacred have the best of both worlds! read more

Good place to grab a tea. I haven't tried the coffees. The pots are cute and unique. Wifi is not speeding but is sufficient for checking emails. The soup of the day was excellent. Service was good. Would come again for a drink or snack but not for the wifi. Music is a little loud too. read more
