ADAM IS A LITERAL LEGEND. i am visiting minnesota to go to mayo clinic because of my disability worsening, and was having a fun day until one of my high nostril tops fell out. i got my high nostrils done in new jersey (where i'm from) and lost my internally threaded star top in a park. spent like an hour and a half looking for it and eventually gave up, and adam squeezed me into the end of his day to help with my emergency. they close at 5 and he took me at 5:30, i texted him at 4:45. he was incredibly professional, KNEW HIS SHIT, and was incredibly patient with my yapping and the lady with ten million questions before me. i would have lost my patience and snapped at this lady and i worked at starbucks for three years and never lost my cool. adam saved the day and went above and beyond to make sure my piercing was saved. Messaged Sacred Heart for a quote on a half sleeve tattoo. After waiting and waiting, Josh Brown finally responded with a quote for $4k - $9k on a half sleeve. I compared that to quotes at other tattoo shops, and they laughed at that quote. After I left a review about my experience on google reviews, the shop owner canceled another appointment I had with another artist there and texted me. refusing me service unless I changed my review. Its no wonder the good artists have left Matt and Sacred Heart to go elsewhere. The customer service is terrible and prices are insane. Do yourself a favor and go to even better artists for half the price. read more

Was my first tattoo experience and entered the store (which they conveniently opened for me on a Sunday) to Jim gettin it on his computer to some Atmosphere and drafting up my tattoo layout. Already felt at home haha. He was very open and patient with me because I actually scooted him out of his chair so I could filter through the remaining fonts and pick out the winner and feel most comfortable with it. Then he finalized things, had me review what he templated up and read it many times for accuracy and then we did placement and verification in front of mirror. After that, it was time. He made me feel very comfortable let and the store itself has such a positive and chill vibe that I was not too nervous as all. Was a quick and positive experience and will return again with it and doubt and recommend SHS to any and all friends. Really glad I chose to go here for my first tattoo. read more

Very friendly staff. For those who have never gotten a tattoo or piercing before you'll be happy to know the staff here is very down to earth and welcoming. Many people are intimidated of tattoo shops because of stereotypes but just know that no matter what color, creed, age, occupation you'll feel at home here and be treated well. The piercer was very knowledgable on a naval piercing my wife obtained here and she in no way felt uncomfortable and had never been in a tattoo or piercing studio before. The piercing was very symmetrical and great aftercare instructions were explained and we were told to call the shop anytime with questions or concerns as it healed. I received a tattoo here and the lines were very straight and the text spot on. It was finished very fast and priced very fair. The shop is very legitimate and has years of experience from the staff.
