They encourage taller vehicles to park in the back rows so everyone can see. Sound comes in from a radio station.

Exactly what you'd expect from a drive-in! Literally everything is the same as it's probably been for decades. In this case, that makes me happy. Plenty of parking spots to see the big screen and the prices on popcorn, burgers, hot dogs and nachos is WAY cheaper than a traditional theater. Please go see a movie and buy their food when they're open so they can stay in business. Love that they sometimes run classics like Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The NeverEnding Story, Dirty Dancing, Star Wars, etc, and sometimes FREE family movies.

The image shows the view from inside a vehicle at a drive-in theater, with a large outdoor screen visible in the background. Several cars are parked facing the screen, including a white Mazda with its doors open. The scene is set during dusk, with trees lining the background and a clear sky overhead. The photo captures the typical setup of a drive-in movie experience, emphasizing the outdoor screen and parked vehicles.

Tried to park my small Toyota RAV4 (hatchback) in the 3rd row. Was told I needed to move my vehicle back one row yet there are multiple hatchbacks in the first, second and third row......my kids can't see the screen from where we are parked but we're not allowed to move up ONE row. So you pay for tickets and aren't allowed to park where you want? I could understand if I had a lifted truck but a small hatchback? will stick to prides corner in Westbrook from now on. Update a vehicle the same exact size as mine parked right in front of me and opened their trunk. Nothing was said to them. So I guess this allowed but not a small Toyota rav without the trunk opened.

    Pups are ready.

Bouncy house for kids! This place is still cool after all these years and they won a new projector last year. The snack bar is still old school and the line can get backed up. There is ample parking and I love how people pop seats out of cars or bring lawn chairs with them. This is a very friendly place and good for families. We enjoy being able to take our pups with us too.

Why the hell does the concession stand close so early?! Came for a double feature and just wanted some damn popcorn, but nope, closed!

Great drive-in! Went here while vacationing at OOB. Saw 2 movies for $15 definitely worth it and fun for anyone.

As teens, my friends and I would go to the drive-in to see Cheech and Chong movies and horror flicks.

Drive-in theaters nowadays are few and far between, and this one is a true gem. I absolutely recommend a visit. There are two screens, and every night they're open is a double-feature on both. Heads up: CASH ONLY! There is a building on-site that has a huge snack shack and lots of clean bathroom stalls. For more information, definitely follow their Facebook page where they post the movies and other info each week. On my summer vacations to Maine from Connecticut growing up, I loved to go here with my mom, brother, and sister in my mom's truck, back it in, and lay under the stars to watch a double-feature of the latest movies. We'd curl up in sleeping bags and pillows, and there was no greater family bonding time. Nowadays, I like to go with friends, especially those who have never been to a drive-in. It's such a unique experience for all to enjoy. Being outside enjoying movies really has a special feel. The previews and "commercial break" reel during intermission transport you through time. There's lots of fun little animations, old cartoons, and vintage ads. This drive-in makes the experience of being at a drive-in truly special and timeless. They also do "retro nights" in the summer where they do a double-feature (as usual) but of classic hits like Ferris Bueller, Back To The Future, The Princess Bride, Spaceballs, and more. It is a great time! I HIGHLY recommend this drive-in!

Would gladly come back to see an IMAX film, but maybe not a special journey for regular films. I have no real complaints. The seats are wonderful and recline. There's a lot of walking room in front of the seats so no awkward 'ass or crotch' etiquette. You don't feel too close to your seat neighbor. Sound is average. Picture quality is good, though there was a smudge on the screen that I kept noticing. The entrance felt a bit disheveled. There wasn't even anyone there to scan my ticket (I bought one online, I promise). You're a sucker and deserve stale popcorn and overpriced snacks if you still buy concessions at a theatre.

I appreciate the simple Atom app for ticketing, plus the veterans discount. The staff was friendly, but I also noticed that it's mostly self-serve for drinks and popcorn. When we got into the theater, the map I used to choose our seats was incorrect. Luckily there were few other patrons and we could move to other seats. The projector wasn't working for the pre-show stuff, which made me nervous enough to go ask the staff about it as the show was about to start. The projector started for the previews and the movie. I wish we hadn't gotten horror movie previews, though, just because it was a Stephen King movie. A couple of the seats were in terrible shape, with covering torn off them and it sounds like at least one of the speakers in the back right is blown, because it was really static-y and crackly. Not our best theater experience, but not our worst either.

You could walk into this theater and never talk to or see an employee. I bought my ticket online, walked directly into the building, and freely to/from my screen without ever needing to show any proof that I had even bought a ticket. Which, like, as an introvert was amazing. But I'm pretty sure I could have stayed there all day bopping in and out of whatever movie I wanted (this was true for a midday, weekday screening, anyway). 3. The bathrooms here are not super clean, but they are super small. 4. If you're seeing a movie that's quieter, artsy, or dialogue-driven and the theater adjacent to yours is showing an action, adventure, or horror movie... that's the movie you're going to hear and experience. The bass absolutely overtakes everything. 5. It doesn't actually get that dark in these theaters. Because this cinema has stadium seating (where the seats go up platform by platform instead of going down a gradual slope), the safety lighting on the wall sort is sort of always in your periphery. I wouldn't not come here, I just wouldn't intentionally choose coming here.
