Believe it or not, this photo is a Pollo Asado Burrito... I haven't been back here since COVID hit, and I have to say, I'm really disappointed. This use to be my go to place for burritos. I'm not sure if ownership or management changed, but food quality and selections have gone down the drain. So sad. I also got Carne Asada Fries and Fried Chili. The fried chili is now a green chili instead of yellow. The meats for the asadas were super chewy. Nevertheless, it was edible, but I don't think I'll be returning here anymore. :( read more

Decided to stop here as our Thai place was super packed. We picked sabrosada as they had good reviews. Place is small and pretty well maintained. Employees were welcoming and friendly. Food was meh...Carne asada is boiled meat with zero flavor:( rice and beans were gross and had no flavor what so ever. The only things that were good was the rolled tacos guacamole and service. This is a sOlid place to get food near Disneyland, especially if you are walking towards Katella anyway. I've actually passed by it numerous times, but I'm always too excited to eat at the parks, so I overlook it. Tonight, I didn't plan well and didn't eat at the park before everything started closing. So I was looking for something fast and cheap. I ordered the half order of carne asada fries. For $8, it's a ton of fries, you can defiNitely share. I'm scared to see what the regular full sized order looks like. I also got a horchata. For a $10 dinner, it was really surprisingly good! And the cashier was so nice! The carne asada was good and the fries also come with cheeses, guac, pico and beans. They also have a salsa bar, so you can add your own salsas. I will definitely be back. Very well priced and delicious food. Carne Asada fries had lots of guacamole and steak. Piping hot, so good with a huge portion. My wife's chimichanga was filled with steak and the sauce on it was great. She could only eat half so it became two meals. I had the breakfast burrito for dinner. Wow, you get a lot of food when you order the combination plates. Tried their 2 fish tacos & beef burrito and enchilada combination plates tonight. Also ordered a Bean Tosada and for a special treat half a pint of their amazing homemade guacamole with some chips. All the food we had tonight was very good. They had many complementary sauce, salsas and even pickled hot jalapeños if one wants to have some. Their Jamaica Tea (hibiscus) was very refreshing and paired with the food so well. It was free for a medium sized cup. They have a small dining area to eat so get there early. No need to pay a tip as you go up to the cashier and place your order. Also you pick up the food when the cashier calls your number. Service was friendly and food was ready very quickly. Would recommend this restaurant. read more

The Concierge assured me that Sabrosada tacos were out-of-this-world delicious. I went to the location on Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim, which is very clean, and conscientiously enforcing masking requirements. I ordered four different mini tacos: Carne Asada, Carnitas, Al Pastor and Pollo Asada, which came with red and green salsas. The tacos were plated and wrapped excellently for takeaway. I found the tacos good, certainly better than standard Mexican fare. Service was fast and the Staff were courteous and helpful at the counter. I'm originally from San Diego and everyone knows SD has the absolute best Mexican food ever, but finding a little gem like this place in LA reminded me of back home in SD. It's good, people. If you're ever in town for Disney or just visiting Anaheim then I would highly recommend this place. They don't skimp out on the carne asada either if you don't like rice and beans in your burrito. Like I said, I'm from SD and we don't put rice and beans in our burrito like those nasty super burritos in the Bay Area. The drinks are good as well. Wow, we miss this kind of Mexican food when in Hawaii or NorCal. SoCal has the best Mexican and Korean food! My husband enjoyed their mini tacos with every protein type, I enjoyed their shrimp bowl, and our kids ate every bite of their cheese quesadilla with rice and beans. saw some great reviews and some poor ones. so how was my super carne asada burrito? meh. The burrito was a decent size but the ingredients and flavor needs some help. The carne asada was one of the toughest bits of beef i ever had. grisly, hard bites of beef- blah. Plus the cheese wasn't even melted- it was still cold, shredded, and lacked any flavor. The flour tortilla was tough (yes tough!), not chewy, and cold - never even touched the grill top. The best thing was probably the bits of onion- which were fresh and crispy. I get it. this place is down the street from disneyland, which means were they just catering to tourists? if so, this location has discredited their brand if their other locations are better. But For $15 i expected more. However, what was interesting, i did see many taco orders versus burritos. perhaps they are known for their tacos? but that doesn't explain the tough pieces of beef. would i return? nope would i fry their other locations? probably not. read more

The BEST Mexican food I've ever had, and sooo affordable for being down the street from Disneyland. The portions are huge, definitely enough two split into two meals! They are super quick, and the staff is always so kind! I love coming here every time I make a trip to Disney, the chilaquiles are sooo tasty, I don't know how they do it, but the sauce is so good and they're always made perfectly. We were in the area visiting Disneyland and stayed at a hotel right next to Sabrosada. How lucky were we?!? This place is a tiny counter serve taco restaurant with only a few tables. We decided to leave Disney during the day get lunch and refresh before returning to the park. This was our lunch choice and we loved it. We ordered the carne asada nachos and the carne asada large tacos. The nachos come with sour cream, pico, refried beans, cheese and guacamole. And when I say guacamole I mean guacamole! On EVERY bite! Normally you get a tiny scoop of guacamole on nachos, but not at this place. They want you to get the perfect bite on every chip! The only complaint is the cheese is just simple shredded cheddar cheese and not melted. But that wasn't an issue. Every other topping was spot on! The large tacos looked more like burritos than tacos. They were stuff with meat and topped perfectly! You can also get red salsa or salsa verde on the side. The best part about this place...the staff!! The women behind the counter were so kind. We weren't sure what we wanted and we made a few alterations and they were so accommodating! My family and I ordered to go last weekend and had an okay experience. The workers were nice but stingy on the salsa cups. They originally gave us 4 for an enchilada plate and 2 burritos. Defitently not enough for my family who likes spicy food. I had to ask on several occasions for more. The salsa bar was dirty and unappetizing. Some salsas were less than half full and the containers were crusty from sitting there for so long. The restaurant itself is pretty small so we ordered and took it to go. I enjoyed my California burrito and my dad enjoyed his carne asada burrito too, but it was kind of dry. There was also nothing special about it to separate it from others. My sister did not enjoy were enchilada plate. She said it was bland and too saucy. The refried beans were also gray in color which didn't look appetizing. I don't know how I haven't reviewed this place. It's the busiest little place on this plaza, because it's the best! Super clean, it's inviting to Disney goers, and locals. I love that they do breakfast all day, and it's reasonably priced for the portions. Everything comes out fresh, and for a person with frequent stomach issues, I really appreciate that's not something I worry about with this place.
