This is only my second time to get lashes and the first set I had did not work for me (not done at Lash and Glow). Char listened to "my version" of the issue (I'm not a professional, and I place no blame on the person who did them the first time... The technicians here have no idea what they're doing. Your eyes should NEVER burn during a lash appointment! I ended up coming here temporarily while my regular technician was away, and every single visit left my eyes red, burning, and in pain. After my first technician caused severe irritation, I switched to another--only to experience the same horrible results. My eyes were so red and painful that I couldn't even open them properly, let alone drive after my appointments. When I brought up my concerns with the front desk, they had the audacity to tell me that I was simply "not a good candidate for lash extensions." That's completely false--I've been getting them for years with no issues at reputable salons. I even overheard them telling the same excuse to a teenager during my first visit. This place has no business offering lash services. When done correctly, extensions should never cause burning, redness, or pain. If you experience this, RUN. Still my go-to nail salon after 3 years and I continue to feel more welcomed each time I come. I…read morehave recently switched from getting gel manicures to dip powder manicures and I love it. It keeps my nails strong and I'm able to enjoy them at a longer length. That is, until it keeps me from typing, which I do a lot of at work. The polish never chips and I always get compliments on them. Ken and Hanh are still great. They do a great job at maintaining the flow of getting customers in. I personally have no problem when they are too busy to work me in. I don't like feeling rushed out and not getting quality work or service anywhere. I'm sure their other regulars and employees appreciate this as well. Oh Lisa, Tina, and Lulu are still there and I like seeing familiar faces when I frequent a business. No fancy chandeliers or water fountains here but what you will find is a great friendly neighborhood feel. I hear them greet their regulars by name all the time, myself included. They are currently going through some expansion at the moment. I am happy to see their business growing and am looking forward to the upcoming renovations.
