All the positive reviews people have written are true! I don't know what else I can say that other…read morepeople haven't already said. I went to a different mortgage place at the beginning of 2017 and I didn't feel like I was being taken seriously. I'm someone who has many questions and I like to get answers to those questions but all the answers I was getting felt confusing and my goals seemed unobtainable. So, I left that office with my tail between my legs. I spoke to my husband about seeing Benji but because I was so discouraged I waited 8 months to do so. I'm so glad I finally made the appointment with him! First off, I LOVED that I could request an appoint online. I don't have much time during working hours to spend on the phone so that feature was extremely convenient. His secretary got back to me within a couple hours and scheduled me an appointment by email. When I arrived for my appointment I immediately noticed how cozy it felt. His receptionist was very kind and offered me a drink (water, soda, etc.). Meeting Benji for the first time I immediately felt comfortable talking to him. He answered all my questions in terms I could understand. My husband came to the appointment a little late and Benji had no problem filling him in on things we discussed. Benji gave us something the person before him didn't. HOPE! We left there feeling like would could really do this! We could really own a home soon! Benji replied to all my messages in an extremely timely manner and never made me feel like I was pestering him. Soon after we met Mike who was also very warm and kind. He explained everything clearly and also answered all my stupid questions without hesitation. We left our appointment with him feeling like we had made a new friend. Lynn, the loan processor Mike assigned to us, is also very kind. She is extremely prompt. I try to gather and send out paperwork within a 24 hour period of it being requested and everyone I've dealt with during this process works just as quickly. This entire office has made this stressful experience extremely easy going. I'm overly happy my husband and I decided to use Benji and his team and since day one we've been telling EVERYONE to make an appointment with him.

I had previously contacted Chase who held my first loan, they bounced from department to department. Cindy can be reached anytime and text for the quick questions. I compared him against online lenders and local banks, and he beat them without hesitation. The difference in knowledge and strategy was obvious from the start. When he pulled my credit, we discovered an error that other lenders never mentioned. Pete walked me through fixing it and completed a rapid rescore so my credit reflected accurately within days. That alone made a huge difference in my loan options. Pete delivers true old school service with integrity and professionalism. His office is beautiful, easy to find, and welcoming. The process was smooth, efficient, and actually enjoyable. I would recommend Pete and Von Mortgage to anyone who wants the best possible loan terms and someone who genuinely advocates for their clients.

Von Mortgage removed my review somehow. I reposted it as follows. I believe this is not the first…read moretime they have removed people's negative reviews. Besides, most of the positive reviews you see under their profile are FAKE. For example, "Amy C" is the Amy I complained about in my review. She works for Von Mortgage, you can see her profile on Von Mortgage's website. Following is my original review: They are very unprofessional people, especially Amy. Amy knows nothing about mortgages. She will make your mortgage process a nightmare! I was charged $2000 for the "mortgage orientation fee" and "underwriting fee" which most lenders don't charge. What worse is they will tend to give you a higher rate even you have a great credit score. After all, they will sell your mortgage to a terrible mortgage management company in a few days. Run and check other lenders before they loot you!

My home purchase was... let's just say... not your standard, smooth-sailing transaction. Think: family drama, funding mayhem, title company miscommunications, and a few "are we seriously still doing this?" moments. I was this close to throwing in the towel more than once. But Mandy and Jennifer? They never gave up. They fought hard, found a path forward when I couldn't see one, and kept strategizing until the deal was done. And you better believe they had a Plan A, B, C... and D ready to go. What makes them even more amazing is that they're not just insanely good at what they do--they're masters at preparing you for the process, communicating every step of the way, and somehow making you feel like you're texting with friends instead of trudging through a loan process. I'm honestly going to miss our silly chats and messages! Because of them, I'm holding the keys to my new home.
