I gotta say that the ladies did a wonderful job, especially in the bathrooms and kitchen! The first thing my husband said when he came home from work was "WOW!" They were very friendly and knew exactly what to clean when they walked in. I just sat back and relaxed for once! I'll definitely be back for sure because THIS IS THE LIFE. I don't wanna clean another dang toilet ever again. THANK YOU Smiles Are Maid!!

Sadly, I have to downgrade my review after my last experience…read more After the first time, in which I had a deep cleaning of almost my whole condo (minus the basement & 2 bedrooms), I only wanted the den, kitchen, half bath and master bedroom cleaned. This was about half of what I had done previously. I wrote to Smiles Are Maid several times and asked for an estimate, but I didn't get a response. Finally, I just downgraded the size of my home, and when the appointment reminder came, it showed a reasonable price. Amber came on time, and she said there was a change in the work order, which I confirmed with her -- and explained again which areas I wanted cleaned. She started upstairs, and when she was ready to clean the downstairs, I went upstairs. After a while, I realized that I hadn't heard any noise, and I went downstairs to see she'd left, without saying anything. She still did a good job, so I don't have any complaints with her work. However, I was then charged another $84.00 after the cleaning. (They'd charged me more after the first time as well, but I didn't mind that as much, as Amber was there for 10 hours.) I wrote to them several times to ask why I was charged more. When I didn't get a response, I told them that if I didn't hear from them within 48 hours, I was going to take it up with my credit card company. I then heard back immediately. They said that the estimate was based on a one bedroom unit, and that my house was bigger than that. I said yes, it is, but I only asked for cleaning of the areas mentioned, that I'd asked in advance for a quote AND that I'd discussed it with Amber before she started. They did credit my card for the extra charge -- and they cancelled my upcoming service. Again, I asked why they cancelled, told them that wasn't my intention and that I just wanted to be charged fairly for the work that was done. I never heard back from them. So, my final rating: 5 stars for cleaning, 0 stars for communication and trying to keep the customer satisfied.

Dear Prospective Client of Aromatherapy Cleaning Services,…read more Paola and her team have helped us on and off during this past year. If you are thinking about asking Paola and her team for their help, please do ask them. You won't be disappointed. Paola and her team are very thorough. There is some kind of 'magic' in the solutions she formulates using all non-toxic ingredients. Her essential oil blends smell so nice. Every time Paola is here, she amazes me. She and her team work tirelessly for hours straight. I feel so guilty, because I will admit it, I am the world's worst housekeeper. My house hasn't looked nor felt as clean as it does after Paola and her team, have visited. Let her work her 'magic' for you.

They like it best when you don't know how long they have been at your home. High pricing for a minimal job. Young women, smell like cigarette smoke, answering their cell phones, chit chatting on your dime. They do show up So if you want to pay sky high prices for light cleaning just because they show up, this is the cleaning service for you. Oh and they will raise your fees often with excuses of paying minimum wage etc. The workers do not benefit, I asked. This company likes to look like they are very professional but really......they aren't!

They stood me up twice and never actually came to clean my home…read more I planned ahead for my home to be cleaned days before an event. They lost my info and lied about it, so they ended up with only partial information. Then they missed my appointment with no advance notice, and never offered an apology or solution. However, they did beg and plead for me to give them another chance and offered bigger and bigger discounts. I gave them a second chance, but they stood me up again. They again begged for my patronage, but in the end they left me hanging for days for a response. Finally they told me they couldn't meet my deadline and that I should use another company. Their "200% satisfaction guaranteed" slogan is unclear in its application. I was not satisfied, and they told me to go elsewhere. TIP 1 of 2: Their appointments are a half hour, regardless of the tasks, and they intentionally allow their employees to be up to a half hour early or late to appointments (per fine print on website). Evidently, there's no extra charge if it takes longer than a half hour or even if it requires a second trip to your home. That's a positive if you have a big mess and a lot of free time! Conversely, your appointment may run way over time or may be skipped completely and without notice. TIP 2 of 2: If you have a deadline or important need for cleaning, use another company. If not, be prepared to spend a lot of time rescheduling and waiting for them, but also request discounts (in writing!) if/when they do mess up.
