Pizza

This place is absolutely amazing!!! Got to meet the owner who is originally from Quebec Canada, since taking over this hot spot she has made many positive changes to cater for the expat/tourist market and what they have come to expect whilst catering to the long time local market as well. Pizzas are half price on Fridays and have some of the lightest fluffiest crispy piazzas I have had. They have their own bakery that makes some of the most amazing cakes, pastries and sandwiches that's brings some of that Quebec coffee house feel with their fantastic coffee in-house. Make sure you pay this awesome spot a visit and tell them Brandon V sent ya. She will make you feel right at home. They are both English and Spanish speaking which is a help. Bon Appetite!!! One of the things every New Yorker misses while away is pizza and I am not an exception. Luckily, I was recently referred to Sabrina's. I think I gave up on the idea of finding decent pizza in Mexico before I arrived and for the most part I was correct. Until I walked in here. Unassuming little place that could be easily passed by but upon entering I had the feeling that they would get things right. The pastries behind the glass and the look of some plates passing by reminded me of home a bit. Let's get to the point which is the pizza. Their pies have all of the components for a correct product...Thin & crispy with those small spots of burn on the underside. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese. And just enough of the toppings to not be overwhelming. Also, everyone loves a deal and none of these pies come in over 250 pesos. I have been back several times since discovering and have tried the "Messicana", the "Siciliano" and the one with the Salmon (can not recall the name but fantastic). All very good! On Fridays, they have 50 per cent off!. I believe it applies to the entire menu but I could be wrong. Try to get there before the sun goes down as I have noticed long lines outside for the half-priced pies.

This is one of the top Italian restaurants in Playa del Carmen. Great service, Lu was my waitress, and did a great job. The pesto asparagus bacon pasta is my favorite thing on the menu right now. The menu has great choices throughout to choose from and they also serve breakfast. Great job Sabrina

What a lovely little place. Fresh juices are tasty and without added sugars. The Jugo Passion is especially noteworthy. Fresh pasta is made in-house as it's ordered. The pasta chefs make it in the front window, visible from your table. The pizza is excellent. The dough is fresh; the sauce is slightly zesty and flavorful. High-quality cheese and fresh ingredients. This little place pumps out some serious goodness.

This unassuming little place is awesome! Breakfast croissant, chilaquiles verde and cappuccino were delicious. Then on to dessert with beautiful pastries that are to die for. And did I mention excellent service? Don't pass this little place up, you won't regret it!

The food was perfect, and the service was great. They gave us the right amount of attention without being too much. Great prices and better food compared to the fresh pasta in the area.

The food was tasty, but the portions for the salads were pretty small. I had to order a second salad dish to feel satiated. Our waitress was polite, but the service in general was extremely slow. There weren't many people and it took nearly 30 minutes to be served.

Oven fired pizza was delicious. Sometimes when you are away from home you need something familiar. Sabrinas hit the spot.

I thought everything was great. Good prices, quiet atmosphere. We got pizza, and the pesto ravioli.

January 13/2025: Dinner with Al/Clem/Red…read more This was an alright dinner with a goodish ambiance. The server "Moses" was a very nice, polite & patient fellow. He delivered solid service, 5-Star. It rained during our meal so that did have an impact. As for the meal...it was a 3-Star at best. My appie was Bruschetta Pastorall ($147P). It was hot in flavour & decent tasting as well. My main was Chicken Parmesan with a creamy spaghetti ($379p + $75p for the spaghetti). They were good but not great. They SHOULD have been great for a $31.50 Cdn entree. And even though I asked in writing to have the meal extra hot...it was barely warm enough to NOT send back to the kitchen. This seems to be where most restaurants in the area drop the ball...taste & food temperature. Even though I ranked this a 4-star it's not really one...it's more like a 3.5. I doubt I'd come back here.

You feel like you are eating in a jungle. Most of the seating is outdoors but the jungle blocks views to and from the street. We went for thin crust pizza. The crust in fact very thin. I think my Mailina could have been in the oven a bit longer to brown more. I did not detect any sausage although the description said there should be. The wife got the Napoli and liked it. We started with Caprese salad. It was excellent. Best (most fresh tasting) I ever had. Service was inattentive. There was one guy who was waiter and street recruiter. It was too much for one person.

Avoid this place!!! I've been eating Mexican (which I LOVE) my entire stay in Playa so today…read morethought a simple salad and pizza would be a simple choice. There is a hyped up "pitch man" standing outside encouraging people off the street to come in. He told me he could make a special that included a drink of "whatever I wanted" well since I was thinking of pizza anyway I decided to give it a try. I decided on a glass of Cabernet and even though it wasn't on the menu, a mixed salad. The waiter couldn't have been sweeter, he was very accommodating. I also asked for water and I noticed the waiter poured the water from a bottled water. I didn't question and assumed (u know the saying about a-ss-uming) that they just used bottled water since he didn't say anything. The mixed salad was simple but a nice size. I also ordered a margarita pizza. Well the pizza was just a cheese pizza with three pieces of basil. I asked for more basil and the waiter did bring a side of basil for me. This was really bad bland pizza! It reminded me of a frozen Digiorno and that was even being generous! When I received my bill...surprise! No special, it was only if you ordered 2 pizzas. Oh and also a tip was added on. I didn't mind the tip because honestly the waiter had nothing to do with the crappy food. I had heard that there was great pizza in Playa but this was NOT it! Not only was it my crappiest meal in Playa it was my most expensive!! Almost 30.00! And yep a-ss-uming, I was charged for the water. On my next visit to Playa, I will definitely avoid this place.

Great place to eat…read more My wife and I stayed in Playa del Carmen for 10 days. during that time we had lunch or dinner there three times. The one person that stood out the most was the greater named Boris. He was very nice to us and funny.
