This place is really great. I come to PR often for work and when I just want a quick easy meal I swing through this spot.
It's simply good, home-style, Puerto Rican food. It's sort of a la carte / cafeteria style where they have many choices and combos that you can put together to make a customized meal.
The cheaper of the options is one meat and one side and it's a surprisingly cheap $4. That's cheaper than the omnipresent burger kings that are everywhere here. A quarter of a delicious roast chicken, rice, beans, and mixed veggies will take you down $6.50.
And the food is really good! There's a reason the place is called taste and seasoning. I like the chicken best, get it with arroz guisado con habechuelas and you got a seriously fantastic lunch. read more
